Came here after my back speakers died in my 2015 Corolla and my dealership mechanic said I needed a new radio unit and the dealership wanted a crazy amount for a 16 year old factory original radio unit over $4k. So I came here and decided to upgrade to a android auto radio unit and auto image tech also found one of the wires on a speaker I had replaced years ago had water damage. So after the radio unit and the wire replacement it's was cheaper than the dealership and the sound quality is even better than it was before. So I have been going to this location foe over 15 years. From systems to tints. They are very knowledgeable and great customer service. I have gotten all my cars done with the tint. They are very quick and do a super clean job. I went 15% around and a 5% on front to my AS1 line. Well over the winter I got a cracked windshield where I had to replace it. The second time around they were so understanding they gave me a discount foe the front to be replaced but this time I did 15% on the whole front. Unfortunately my other half i had to make happy she wanted darker. So I made an appointment knowing I would have to pay a fee for removal. But they still gave me the same friendly service as if it was my first time around and making sure it was exactly what I wanted. Scam artists. Will overcharge you on basic services and fudge the numbers if you don't request an itemized receipt before they do the work. Verbal agreements mean nothing. After they do the work, they tack on whatever BS they want and justify it by including a warranty you didn't want, faulty tax calculations, and "shop supplies". Happy to steal from you any way possible. Will make a mess in your car when they return it to you, with dirt and sticky material everywhere. read more

Been going to these guys to have tints done for a long time and I don't get anything less than great work. I recently tried to replace the third break light in my car and could not get it on. I contacted Auto Image to see if they could help and was quoted $65 for the work. When I arrived, they ended up installing it with no charge! they need better communication.!!! I came to auto image on rt 18 on Nov 6 to make an appt that following Tuesday the 12th for 10am. The guy in the front, Mark, when i came in the 6th told me it takes about 2-4 hrs for the installation to be complete. I dropped my car off before 10am and stayed at the near mall for about 4 hrs. I called at 1:30pm someone told me it was being worked on. I come before 3pm to find out that my car hasn't even been touched. I was highly annoyed asked for my keys and left. These people will play tricks on you. I had my car detailed for $190.00 plus tax. Actually, and in all fairness, it was $189.99 plus tax. But they also charged me $7.50 for "Supplemental Materials Charges - Shop Charge." Problem is, they do not say anything about the $7.50 on the website. In my case, they hid the charge until I got to the shop, and they argued that they were not being deceptive because they had the sign spelling out the charge right there, for me to read before committing to the job. Now, you tell me whether that is deceptive or not. The actual price is $189.99 plus $7.50, since they would not do the job otherwise. That is what I had to give them if I wanted to have my car detailed. Sneaky dudes! They would not say anything about the $7.50 charge on their add on the internet -- they would not! But they then say that they are not trying to hide anything. Please! read more

They have done stock radio swap outs and nav/CarPlay upgrades on three of my cars. Incredibly pleased with their professionalism and quality of work. On latest install, to get a new Pioneer head unit into a 12 year old car, they found the needed parts to connect the steering wheel controls as well as make the face plate look like a factory install. I worked with both Gary and Trent to have a remote start installed on my 2016 Kia Optima with push button start. I called about one week in advance and explained what I wanted to have done. We were able to work out a date and time that was convenient for both of us and got it done. It took approximately 6 hours to do but was done without any complications. I had this auto image tint my truck and the one in Edison tint my car. No issues at all. No bubbling and they even called me to tell me that I had some scratches on my window that may be more pronounced with the tint (in case that would change my mind.) I must admit, I was surprised to see that this place was give an overall three and a half stars. I've had two of my cars detailed on the interior and am amazed on how good a job they have done cleaning the fabric. I have also purchased and installed a car starter from them. The wiring was installed neatly and cleanly with no issues. I have also had them install and hard wire dash cameras in two different cars, which I purchased elsewhere, with the same results. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They also offer a wide variety of other auto services such as window tinting. Their rates are competitive but not the cheapest. You are paying for quality work. Definitely worth considering for your automotive needs. read more

I'll start off by saying that my tints came out great. Definitely very happy with how they turned out. However, from a customer service standpoint, I don't know if I'll go back here. I made an appointment almost a week in advance and the guy told me they finish all their cars same day and to make sure to get there before they close at 6 to pick it up. When I dropped it off at 1:30 he told me the same thing, to make sure I'm there before they close. So I arrange for my ride to take me back over there (keep in mind it's about 25 minutes from my house) and we get there at 5:50. My car is still parked in the same spot, untouched. I walk inside and they tell me they're running behind and haven't gotten to it yet. Granted, had they called me to just give me a heads up I truly wouldn't have minded. But then I had to wait over an hour for them to finish. I didn't really say anything because I myself work in the automobile industry and I know how things can go. But a call and/or an apology would have went a long way. I then receive a call 2 days later that they left one of their phone's in my back seat and asked if I can drop it off at some point. Didn't even offer to try and pick it up from where I was. Again had they actually apologized or offered to pick it up I wouldn't have cared. But this whole experience was just unprofessional and could have been handled better if you ask me. Great customer service makes a huge difference and I was not given that here. But I have to say... the tints look great and I did appreciate them staying after closing to get it done. Just really wish they would have called me! read more

I came in to get my passenger side and driver side window tint removed. I received a ticket in NY for both windows. I made an appointment which I highly recommend you do. There was a line about 5 people on the Saturday morning I went. The guy was very friendly and I only had to wait about 45 minutes while they removed both tints.
