Hipster atmosphere, nice lighting & great customer service. Every drink that came out was a "ouuu what's that". Everything looked very over the top and extravagant! I had to XS Surprise, with kinder surprise egg. It's a pretty hefty portion for one person to finish! If you've had a light dinner or lunch then you can probably finish it. If not then I would recommend sharing this! It is what you would expect, very very sweet! Overall, I would share one drink since they are $14 each and it would be a shame if you couldn't finish it! read more

At 10am I was lucky to find a spot to perch. Families, solos, businessmen, couples & girlfriends & firemen ..... every demographic covered! Staff appeared to enjoy their work. A smile instead of s snarl is always a good start! Brekkie was good. I ordered the XS Breakfast and a coffee. All good. Will certainly call in again when I'm over that direction. read more

I have no idea why this place is so popular. The quality of the food and drinks are not that great. Maybe coz they make things that look good on Instagram? My wife had the XS Stack (which is avo on toast with poached eggs and haloumi) and I got the short stack pancakes. The XS Stack was nice but the bread was not really toasted enough. My pancakes which was supposed to have vanilla ice cream on it, had chocolate ice cream. When I said something to the waitress she took it away then asked if I wanted whip cream on top instead, which I thought was ok. However, when the pancakes came out the cook had just removed the chocolate ice cream and replaced it with whipped cream. So I still had melted chocolate ice cream on my pancakes. But you know whatever "such is life". But when I place another order for a coffee and and a doughnut as takeaway i received it on a plate! PICK UP YOUR GAME! It's not that hard! (And yes I have worked in hospitality) That said my wife liked the coffee. read more

Being chocolate obsessed this place definitely hits the spot when craving something sweet, I've been to the parramatta, parramatta and now I'm a local wetherill park xs espresso. Each time I have been to the wetherill park xs expresso I felt rushed to when being seated and also placing an order but as I previously worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years it does get like that especially as it's busy alot of the times I have been. Desserts there are amazingly appealing to the eyes and happy to say they taste as good as they look. very satisfying as I have a huge sweet tooth. Yet to try the savoury dishes there but definitely will in future visits. read more

From savory to sweet, XS Espresso is your one stop shop serving it all. XS Espresso was my favorite food trip destination during my visit to Sydney. I tried three different types of shakes, acai bowl, the lamb and couscous, and the pancakes (all of which I forgot the proper names to). All the items were so flavorful and rich. I can't stop thinking about them 6 months later. read more

Service is pretty bad and the staff are rude and more interested in talking to each other rather than serving customers. The only time I got good service was when I brought my puppy since the waitress thought he was cute. Food was alright, not as good as everyone makes it out to be. read more

A sloppy mess, one star rating is being generous. I've eaten here twice, and the second time was so bad the first thing I thought of was to go online and leave a review. I ordered the XS chicken burger, the first time I ordered the burger it was great, the second was a world of difference. I've never seen a burger so filled with sauce it was almost a joke. The top bun was actually sliding off. I couldn't pick up the burger at all, no I don't have a learning difficulty, I eat burgers all the time. When I finally picked up the burger, it all fell apart, at that point I gave up on the extremely horribly made burger In saying that the chips had no seasoning and the coke that the waitress brought out was warm, so I had to go back and ask for a cold one, and even then they had no cold Coke so she offered me a cup of ice. Horrible experience I don't know why this place is popular, it's behind me. Just yuck. read more

Went here because I really wanted a freak shake. Having been to the one in Weatherill park, this one is in a better location. However the location is still not ideal, being in an industrial area, not close to the Westfield. It is beautifully styled with black and gold chairs and wallpaper and a big kitchen and coffee service area. The menu does offer food like breakfast options and burgers as well as healthy food. Hence it attracted a varied crowd; both the instagrammer and gym junkies. My bother and I shared two baked by Andres treats; a matcha frog and a chocolate bear - mousse on a biscuit and topped with chocolate. Deliciously cute. We then shared a freak shake. These are damn incredible. A shake that tasted just like a ferrero rocher, topped with fairy floss, crunchies, cream, an ice cream cone, hundreds and thousands and a kinder surprise. This was awesome!!! Pretty expensive but if you don't do it too often; it's ok. Staff were lovely. read more

Well! I did try this place twice before I decided to write a review because this place is suppose to be a hit in Australia. It was not much of a hit and my friends who live in Australia felt the same. 2 of my friends said that the burger was horrible. My salad tasted bland no flavor what so ever. Then, I tried the acai bowl and that was delicious (3 stars for that). The "chips" we Americans call French fries was nasty. The service was very slow. read more

The music is unbearably loud. Don't come here thinking you can work or have a meeting. It's like "get yer coffee and f off". Disappointing.

Ordered the volcano shake and cronut shake, looks great, taste avg, volcano cake was over baked, the centre did not flow, cronut was very oily, you can see the oil coming out when you try to cut it. read more

If your thinking of coming to this place for savoury food even though that's not the restaurants brand but if you were wondering XS espresso is not the best place for that. The food in my opinion is not the best the chips are over salted the burgers are not the best. It are still okay although the desserts are defiantly great especially the Nutella thick shake is amazing. read more

I went for breakfast with my family.The food was ok and came out pretty fast the coffee was ok too. (I waited longer to order my food than I did for it to come out) Food was quite traditional breakfast style, their desserts and milkshakes are quite popular. However the whole place felt a bit badly managed. They didn't take reservations but there were tables reserved and probably about 30 people waiting outside for a table. There is no table service (order at the counter) and no real kids menu (it's a very family area) the prices are a bit on the more expensive side for a place that is as basic (no table service and small menu) however the staff were really sympathetic to everyone waiting and questioning why we can't make reservations??? It has potential to do better but I'm not in a rush to go back. read more

I don't understand the hype! The workers here are so rude, and they just brush you off. Everything is overpriced and the milkshakes are WAY too sweet. I have had a burger from there and would literally rather go to maccas. The coffee is okay but not a good as other nearby places. read more
