Aguilar Flooring Installations LLC. Recommendation part 2. I have previously posted about this…read morecompany and the work they did for me installing some flooring. Basically, they did a very fine job and were very professional and efficient while doing it, such that I decided to have them do the next phase of the remodeling of our house. It required repairing the many ceiling cracks caused by the foundation shifts, a ceiling hole where a friend fell through while attempting to check on our water heater, the many holes in the drywall from various accidents over the years, repair of two door frames(one from our dogs when they were teething as puppies; the other the less said the better), finishing removing the cereamic tiles from the kitchen and entrance hallway and laying vinyl tile instead, replacing and painting the baseboards of our main living area and painting the 11' to 14' walls of the same area all while having to work around our 4 small and very noisy pup dogs. Isaia and his crew (I know I am repeating this) were very professional and efficient. They were also hard working, polite, respectful, communicative, and cooperative. There were several times where we wanted changes in the work or questions came up about things we wanted done and they worked with us on getting it accomplished. Their rates were also reasonable. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to get interior remodeling done be it a small job or a big one. You can contact them at Aguilar Flooring Installations LLC, 1-214-407-7962 and ask for Isaia.

Despite no services being rendered, materials provided, or work completed, aside from an initial consultation to review their proposal and material selection. We opted not to proceed due to unexpected costs added after contract signing, as well as discrepancies regarding materials specified in the original agreement. Please note, there was no cancellation stipulations in the contract. Although the company's owner Bador Obeid initially agreed to and said he processed our refund on February 16th, the owner then became unresponsive and no refund/reversal had gone thru. Following numerous unanswered calls, texts, and emails, they only responded on June 5th when we threatened to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Texas Attorney General, and local police, given the substantial amount of over $20,000 involved, which constitutes a criminal offense. A settlement was finally reached on June 10th, with a promise of immediate refund, but the owner has since become unreachable/unresponsive again. We are concerned he does not have the funds or this would have been taken care of by now. Will update if the situation changes. I would highly advised to look elsewhere unless you have a lawyer on speed dial. Update: We finally received an email today due to this bad review. The owner claims a "significant internal restructuring is the reason the refund has taken longer than originally expected" and wants to spread out the refund in 3 payments over the next several weeks. Granted, back in February he stated the refund was put through and being processed, and that it could take several days before we saw it. Now he is attempting to hold our money hostage, stating: "If the reviews are removed, I will continue with the chargeback schedule exactly as outlined." We refused to remove the reviews until we are made whole. Our next step is filing official complaints with the authorities tomorrow morning.
