So I booked my first appointment with Maggie and walked in to the appointment slightly nervous. I've had a bunch of Brazilian waxes over the last couple years but for some reason still was feeling nervous! The first impression of the place was a smallish hole in the wall place but it opened up to a much larger set of rooms with many waxers. The front desk girl greeted me and I was seen quickly by Maggie. Maggie is an absolute gem! Very very nice and welcoming lady who truly seems to enjoy her work. She chatted with me and got to know more about my life which made me feel a lot better about getting waxed again. It had been awhile. I let her know and she was patient with me through the whole process. Now be forewarned! Maggie's technique was different than the other esthetician I went to before. But her technique is was makes the hair stay away for even longer! So just trust that she knows what she's doing. She treats her clients like family and works really hard at this skill. So definitely go and check her out!

I'm 8.5 months pregnant, so at this stage it's hard to do much comfortably, and I was honestly dreading this appointment because I had waited much longer than normal. Somehow, Zia made the entire experience so comfortable that I was actually able to enjoy the wax! She was absolutely amazing--so sweet, accommodating, patient, and incredibly understanding of my situation. She made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire appointment. I truly don't think I've ever had such a great experience with a waxer. If you go to European Wax Center in Frisco, go see Zia! I highly, highly recommend her. It was decided that I, 6'2" and 260# silverback gorilla that I am, needed my back sugar waxed. Well, I'm no wuss so I put on my big boy pants and went as ordered. I was expecting pain, grunting, and cursing. I was wrong. The wax was a comfortable temperature, the pull off was quick and decisive, and other than right at the nape of my neck, there was very little discomfort. Except.....I'm ticklish, but we won't discuss that. I can recommend this service to my fellow Neanderthals with no reservations. My back is silky smooth. Now my wife is talking about my chest....... I won't say it's painless, because it's not but it is nowhere near the pain you feel from waxing. Sugaring is 1000000x better and an overall better experience. Nina worked on my nails and was hopping in between clients and rushing through my nails as if she was the only person there (several other nail techs available, but she said she was the only one that could). Even with other nail techs working she was "helping them" and saying " she doesn't know how , but I have to do it" but the other tech was having clients walk out and pay to what must've been a fine job. I assumed Nina would be the best, but she managed to cut my skin and cause me to bleed multiple times. Three days later, I had a nail fall off and another on the way out. Pictures below show 3 days old wounds, while the last one was the new wound after it was fixed. Not only that, I asked for French tips with a specific color. She started going up my nail bed with the paint in which I asked her if that was the final product or was she going to do a clean up. She told me that if I wanted "classic" French tips I should've said that because she assumed I wanted curvy (?). I had to show her a picture of what French tips were because she claimed to have no idea what I was talking about. As someone that has gotten my nails done for over 10 years, I've only ever had to ask for French tips. I've actually never heard of curvy French tips and idk why someone would assume otherwise. James did a great job on my feet which is the only reason i would give even a single star!

My favorite waxed is Lucy, she makes it a much more comfortable experience and always talks to me to take my mind off of everything and we always joke in service and talk about the goings on about life/work. Babita is a good and efficient waxer as well-- I just had her recently when Lucy was not on schedule for the time I needed. After everything is all said and done and waxed, they give you a little ice pack to sit and "calm down" for a second and I like that because no other waxing spa/salon I've been to has done that, and at this point, it really is the little things that make a big different.
