It was extremely packed with people on a Friday at 10 AM. Everyone was really courteous. (Lots of bumping into one another). What impressed me more than anything else; People were actually kind to one another. Wow! Lots of people using walkers and wagons. How they walked/tackled the uneven dirt was impressive. Kudos to y'all. Only a few "people traffic jams". Just have to learn to navigate those! It's free parking and approximately 12$ per person entrance fee. Lots of staff to help with parking. Shout out to Joe Cuellar once again for providing fantastic music! Take a photo at the entrance as proof you already paid. This way you can walk your purchases back to your car! Plus with a picture you can return all weekend for this event! That's a win in my book. Multiple food vendors! And like anywhere, never enough restrooms. I pre-purchased my tickets months in advance. I will tell you this venue will over-kill you with emails and texts. They sell their tickets for the event through Huminex. It's too much. Specially, if you already bought your tickets. Multiple sellers, my understanding is that it is difficult to get into this show as a seller. I certainly miss when some of my favorites are not here. I miss the soaps, balsamic vinegar, crafters, and true vintage sellers. Please bring cash to these events. It runs smoother when you do! Some will even give discounts for cash sales. It has now been updated that the sellers have to carry their own internet for sales up here. I love what Myers does with this location! Good job on the vintage fair marketing via Huminex. May 2026

There are tons of parks all throughout DFW to get your long run on. If you are up north in suburbia and are looking for a place to get your miles in, I highly recommend coming here! It's nice and peaceful and quiet plus safe and options for potty breaks in the area. The trails are beautiful and well kept and the residents are friendly! I recommend parking in the main park area where they have designated the public to park and start your run from there. Great sunrise views off of the creek and you can run throughout the neighborhood trails since it goes around the city. It's fairly flat but there are some opportunities for elevation if you venture out. If you are just looking for a safe park/playground you may bring the fam here too and I do think there is a pavilion. But there's tons of shade for the run and lots of fun fact/history out there about the park as well. Enjoy and keep on supporting local!

According to the map, it looks like it goes far south into Plano. Very quiet. Only saw a couple families walking, jogging, and riding bikes. We did come on a Friday morning though. It hasn't rained in awhile so the creeks are low. All paved, a couple bridges. I saw some wildlife too: squirrels, hawks, and egrets. We came in January so all the leaves had fallen off trees. I bet it is a sight to see during spring when everything blossoms. However, I imagine it being very hot during summer since there is no coverage throughout the path. Overall, nice, paved trail. Extremely well maintained.

I believe there are two entrances (uncertain if one entrance is for special guests only) and the line goes by quick (just make sure you pull up your tickets). We were immediately greeted by the Texas Legends mascot. The School of Rock The Colony were playing on the right of the main entrance. We walked around and visited 2-3 vendors handing out swag. There's a small playground on the left side for little ones with some seating areas for big ones. Across the way, there's an inflatables Kid Zone (about four bounce houses, one soccer, and one basketball) for $5 each kid. We went at the beginning of September when it was still 90 degrees at 7 pm. Fortunately, we were under the shade so it didn't feel so bad. Throughout the game, there were deals for special plays. For instance (making this up since I can't remember exactly), Jet's Pizza offered free corner pizzas since the RoughRiders hit a double. One of the concession stands offered $3 off an alcoholic drink because of a particular play. That was nice! A gentleman went around selling raffle tickets called 50/50. I don't know how often they draw the tickets, but you purchase a certain amount of tickets (the more you purchase, the better the discount) and it goes into a prize pool. They wait a few games and draw a winner. The winner will keep 50% of the pool. For our raffle, the winner won over $3,000. Check out their site as you can book group outings (sit in a wagon or the terrace), first pitch, and lazy river. They have special nights and will have fireworks on certain nights (cancelled when we went due to the burn bạn). The biggest downside about the stadium, though it's expected, is the cost of concessions. A bottle of water goes for $6 or so. Eat and drink before you go so you don't have to spend so much money at the game. The coolest thing about the game is that we sat in section 121 and at the end of every inning, a player would toss a ball in our direction. Book section 121 and bring your baseball mitt.
