The service with this company is awful. It took 2 weeks for me to get my internet hooked up when I…read morealready had the equipment installed and the cables run to my house. When they finally did deign to make an appointment to come out to hook everything up they gave me a 7-8 hour window. Instead of calling when they were on their way over, apparently they expected me to miss out on half a day of work to sit around and wait for them. When I was finally able to get ahold of their after hours tech, I was told they could have someone out the following day to get everything hooked up. They sent out 3 techs and didn't manage to get the internet working. Why they need 3 people to plug in a router is beyond me, but maybe that's why it takes 2 weeks to get an appointment. When I called the office to tell them their techs left without getting my internet functional the woman hung up on me. When I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor they refused to give me contact information for a supervisor and instead transferred me to their answering service. I finally got everything working myself (thanks, google), and it took a grand total of 3 minutes. I guess their brain trust couldn't handle that. All in all their customer service is abhorrent. The people are terribly rude, incompetent and dishonest. What I see here is yet another company in this town who is the only one in the game so they feel they can treat their customers poorly because you have no other options for internet

You will be assured over and again during the setup call that that is exactly the price and terms that you are receiving. When it is all installed, however, they double the price to $40 and only send you a $100 gift card. I have been fighting AT&T on this ever since, and they will not cancel the account without a $230 fee. DIRECTV has been out twelve times in the less than sixty days that I have had it. In all of the years that I had Suddenlink/Tivo, I cannot remember it being out at all. The Suddenlink/Tivo DVR service is far superior, faster, more user friendly, etc, etc, etc. . . If you still have traditional TV, do not even consider dumping Suddenlink for DIRECTV. It is horrible! If you live in a market outside of the Suddenlink area, stick with whomever is offering Tivo. My experience with the two things is like night and day with DIRECTV being overwhelmingly negative and Suddenlink/Tivo being overwhelmingly positive! My account is less than sixty days old and has been down as follows: 13 June 2018 - Hail 16 June 2018 - Rainstorm 28 June 2018 - Service out 30 June 2018 - List empty 01 July 2018 - Service out 13 July 2018 - Light rain 13 July 2018 - Light rain 26 July 2018 - Light rain 27 July 2018 - Recordings missing 28 July 2018 - Lost signal/Incomplete Recordings 29 July 2018 - Rain 30 July 2018 - Rain

I was fine with the TV channels and even the fact that I sometimes lost service during storms…read more However, when customer service is terrible I find it inexcusable. First of all, when you call for service you have to go through a recording that asks all about your account, but as soon as you are finally connected they don't even have any information and you have to start all over. So when I finally got to talk to a person, they claimed to be looking at my account, but kept having to ask me what I had, they did not even know. Then after I was put on hold three times for a total of 25 minutes, because they said it takes a very long time to create an email that would allow me to return my equipment he came on and said never mind it couldn't be done so just take it to a UPS store and give it to them. I asked how I was supposed to prove that they knew I had returned all of the right equipment and he couldn't tell me. I am shocked at the lack of organization in this company. Also, the customer service is the worst. 2 years ago this was not the case, but now all I hear are complaints and there is no place within the company to lodge a complaint. It is clear that no one within the company cares at all about the customers. This is the only place you can even let any body know how bad it is.
