Visited on 7/3/2025 at 2:30 p.m. One of the employees (cashier) was inattentive, appeared very impaired (red, heavy eyes), and was unprofessional. I tried to get help, but he just stood around. I stepped behind the counter briefly to see the products better since no one was assisting me. At that point, he became hostile, started cursing, and threatened me. I didn't realize helping customers was so difficult. Never has a cashier acted that way. I was a returning customer, but I will not be returning after this. Xhale City, you all are better than this! This was my regular smoke shop for the past 8 years but that employee Millie will keep me away even if they give the products away. She was beyond rude and was flat out mean to me and the person I was with. I ended up going to a different xhale and mentioned it to the employee there who laughed and said I was the 5th person to complain about her and that she herself had only had negative interactions with her. Exceptional service. I wanted to try and different flavor for my Juul, and the guy was very helpful AND knowledgeable walking me through the different types. We actually mixed and I got a great flavor (strawberry lemonade). I seriously could have spent two hours in there just chatting with the guy about the different types. I was given the wrong coils By an employee. When I tried to exchange them for the correct ones, I was told that they couldn't be exchanged. I was told I could buy the correct ones at a 20% discount If I gave them the wrong ones back. I have spent hundreds of dollars in this store and this seemed a bit insulting considering I was given them by and employee after showing him my device. Employees aren't knowledgeable and unwilling to help repeat customers. Even when it was their mistake. This business let a $15 dollar mistake cost them my future business. Won't spend another penny at their business. Make sure you have them double check you get the correct product if you choose these guys. My boyfriend and I went to this location after going to a different location on St. Patrick's day(they were having an awesome sale). So there is only one guy working and he's helping someone else, no biggie. We wait for almost 30 min for him to finish helping the guy, another 2 guys walk in, so the guy rushes to help us look at one thing, and acted like he did me a favor to look at it, and that it was inconvenient that I wanted to look at what I was getting and wanted to compare it to something else. I felt really rushed to make a choice, and like he didn't want to help us. The whole time he was 'helping' us, he was more concerned about what the other guys wanted, talking to them and asking what they wanted. Walked in and was greeted politely. The selection of water pipes and bubblers is pretty substantial. The associate was helping another customer when I walked in, so I took the time to scan all of the products. When she was done she came over to me and was very informative. Good info on the pieces and helped me think through what I wanted. I saw a bubbler for $200 that I needed to have but it was over budget. She quickly used her ninja sales skills and gave me a sweet deal that basically took $30 off the total price. If she wouldn't have done that, I would have left there with a $70 piece, which I would have been fine with... but i was honestly looking for a quality piece and she made it happen for me. When you are working as an "associate" (what we used to call a "clerk") you need to put your personal prejudices aside and simply wait on the customers, treating them courteously.
