Wow, the fast service I received today knocked my socks off. I went during a slow time just after they opened, and I was signed in immediately. My associate, Robbie, helped me set up my new cell phone with the correct information for emailing and also helped me download the new Xfinity app, so I will be able watch movies during an upcoming trip. I have no idea what any of these low reviews are, today is May 15th. It's Sunday, they opened at 1130. I arrived at 1150 and was out by 11:55. I exchanged my modem for a new one. That was the quickest and some of the friendliest people I have dealt with Internet wise in a long time. Good job Xfinity, you made this guy happy. Word of advise all you low reviewers. The lady at the front FRAN was very rude and short with me and constantly interrupted me while I tried to finish explaining what I was as looking for. That is why she was giving me incorrect information until I was finished. At that point she was even shorter with me and just repeated herself over and over in a manner not befitting customer service. At least the store itself moves quickly. read more

This is the worst xfinity store I have ever had the displeasure of enduring. They have been locking the doors of the store with customers still inside which is against the law. Doors to a business must remain unlock if customers are in store there is no exception to this law. To top it off they only take cash payments though an arm style Kiosk that does not give change this is ridiculous for a company of this size to have such ridiculous practices. read more

I will never again have service through comcast. If there is another option go with them. Services were always having outages. The one that has me never going back to them ever though is recently purchased a home, they don't offer service and now I have a $400 bill because of there inability to provide coverage. I will struggle with the lowest speeds or even go with a dsl service before I ever think about going back to comcast Xfinity!! read more

Awful, awful, awful, awful. Service is on par with Pol Pots death squads. Only they don't use bullets they use ticking clocks. If you want to experience a new benchmark for bad service then by all means try to call the 800 number. The one good thing is there are surveys after every call. Worst customer service ever. Have been in the store twice and always come out feeling dirty. Can't even drop off their return merchandise without waiting...waiting...waiting. Get a number at the kiosk?!?! Really?!? To drop off your merchandise. "You can just go to the UPS store". Ok, I will, then proudly give them a five and you a one star. As a result of my failed service with Direct Tv. I decided to go back to Comcast. This has been a nightmare. They failed to show up for the date of the installation where I spent 2 hours waiting then calling to find out why they didn't show. The first time I was told it was because of low man power. I got transferred to someone else after being on hold for an hour and was told that it was my fault for not confirming. I had called them the night before to make sure everything was fine and was told that I did not need to do anything else for them to show up for the appointment. Tired of the run around I was getting on the phone I went to the store. The store actually has better customer service and was helpful. I found out that Comcast had rescheduled my installation without notifying me of it first - they called a phone number that is not tied to my account. The day they rescheduled for I couldn't make because it was late notice and I wouldn't be able to notify my boss that I needed to come in late or have the day off; so, my installation was two weeks later. They have given me a $20 inconvenience but this is small compensation. I have been hit with overage charges on the cell phone for lack of having wifi at the house and I had to take the day off for the installation. When they did show up for the installation they did not have the DVR device on the work order that I had requested. The tech did see where I had requested it but because it wasn't on the work order he upgraded my account and new fee has been added that is more than what I had been told over the phone. The only reason I will give them 2 stars versus 1 is because the service is actually working. My experience with both Direct TV and Comcast is making me rethink cutting the cord and going to streaming. I will definitely be checking into it once my contract is up with Comcast. read more

Our experience was excellent. Actually did not want to go with Comcast because of these poor reviews but can only say they are apparently on the road to redemption. We had absolutely no problems getting hooked up with TV and Internet. Reasonable price and Fran at the store was very helpful throughout the signup process. read more

An absolute joke. I've had this service for years, and they suddenly put a 300GB limit on my internet usage. I use about 1000GB/month, so I'm screwed. Xfinity are thieves, and they will change your plans and fees in order to bankrupt you! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

We went into the Murfreesboro store on N Thompson Lane as we have such poor internet speeds that we figured for $15.00 more we can upgrade to faster speeds and at least get something usable. Simple right?? Oh so wrong. We got home to find our telephone number had been changed and we received an email from Comcast advising us of $150 cancellation charges. We went back into the store the next day, got another ticket and I asked to see a Manager, he said I am the store manager, they will call me over. After explaining to the second person the issue, she called over another service person and neither of them could figure out how to fix it, so I asked them just to put my account back to how it was with my old number before they messed it up. Again she called over another person and told me it's all sorted. The store manager is out of his depth, he is clueless, the only thing he seems to do is walk around glued to his tablet..... got home and received a new bill, It had not been sorted. After calling the head office, speaking with 5 idiots, I ended up emailing the office of Tom Karinshack (comcast complaints) it is the only place you get anything fixed correctly. I cannot believe this company is run the way it is and they hire so many incompetent people. Comcast sure does have the monopoly on hiring idiots. This is by far the worst provider of any service I have ever received. We had cox for 7yrs without a single issue, now we live here it seems to be the worst service area for many things. read more

Terrible! Terrible! Absolutely..motherfreakin terrible!! All I wanted to do was move to a new address. Simple enough right? WRONG!!! They decided I needed new boxes for my new address, fine whatever. While I"m waiting for these new boxes to show up, I plug in my current boxes and everything works fine. 2 days later, nothing works! I call them and nobody can tell me anything except that there was NO NEW EQUIPMENT BEING SENT because no one dispatched it. #wtf Well look what the cat dragged in, the next day I'm come home from work to a box of Comcast equipment sitting on my porch. Again, #wtf. I call them back and they tell me that none of the serial numbers on the box match anything on my account. So they are going to... SEND ME MORE EQUIPMENT. Ok, no cable for 2 more days, cool, i'll survive. 2 days later, I come home to a box of Comcast equipment, and...you guessed it! Called 'em up, and none of the serial numbers match anything on my account. So this lovely customer service rep says, "We need to send a technician out". #WTFFFFF For what? My setup works fine, I've proven that by making it work with my old boxes. Whatever! They call me the day before the Technician is scheduled to arrive to confirm my appointment. Guess what..the day arrives and...no Comcast Tech. I call them back and then they tell me that no technician was ever scheduled to come out. #WTF She goes on to say that I need to drive 2 cities away and swap out the boxes and send both boxes of equipment back to them. #WTFFFFF I'm livid by this point and for good reason. My wife decides to make the trip, we swap out the boxes, plug them in and finally, we have cable. Just when I thought the storm was passing, a few days later, we have a bill in the mail for $450. #dafuq. A simple transfer of address has turned into a 3.5 week affair 3 sets of equipment, 1 missing Comcast Tech, and hundreds of dollars in erroneous fees. #FUComcast ok #FU. #basketcases read more
