I've had Comcast on and off throughout the years and have never really had a problem with their service. This review of course about this particular location and they seem to really make it their business to help address issues. I've had to come here a number of times the past couple years - restarting service after moving, picking up and dropping off devices, cancelling service and most importantly talking to a human being. So many services (not just cable) nowadays is on the phone and you deal with menus, automated selections and other annoying things. Here at Comcast, specifically this one, the staff are always extremely nice and helpful. Whatever questions I have they pull up my account in like 30 seconds and boom. I went into the store to order internet services, my credit card was used to open a mobile account for a phone and phone number I didn't own. I am pretty sure this is illegal. I ended up with mobile services charges and spend an hour getting removed via customer services on the phone. Stay away from this store. I am surprised they haven't been sued yet. read more

We walked in with our cable box and cut the cord. I'd been a customer with Xfinity for cable, internet and landline for decades. We dropped the landline, then a little later decided to eliminate cable as well. We went by when they opened on a Saturday morning and gave back the equipment, closed the account and got a refund for our balance. All went smoothly. One thing that was remarkable to me was that we're at least three other older customers int the store at the time. Let's just say they were not digital natives and were there to get help, in person, from a an actual human, for their phones and other devices. They will lie to your face and over the phone to get you to purchase services and devices with them and be completely shameless while doing so. As was noted in other reviews, this store doesn't operate like most flagship stores and is staffed by uneducated, pushy commission-based salesmen. I was conned into buying a mobile line in addition to my home internet service because of a bundle discount however their bring your own device policy is a scam. You will encounter an error trying to activate their sim card and the only solution will be to purchase the phone directly off them for an extra $200 more than if buying directly from the manufacturer. They lie about specs and their customer reps and technical support teams are incentivized against providing service and instead pushed to sell you anything they can. Oh and hidden fees? I'm yet another person who was taken in by the mobile "promo" for supposedly lower internet charges offered by this unscrupulous store. It was conveyed by the salesperson that this is a "bundle" package, and while I didn't need the mobile services, it will save me over $50 monthly. Spoiler alert: it didn't. Instead, I was paying for both my prior internet services with an additional mobile account that I didn't need. Xfinity apparently compartmentalizes these services, so there are two distinct statements - although I was only receiving one, for some reason. After a ridiculous app/customer service phone rep experience, I finally stepped inside the Xfinity Factoria store. The helpful person there explained that I was essentially scammed by the Totem Lake store (which isn't a corporate store but a "partner" store that's commissioned-based), that he receives these complaints fairly consistently from the Totem Lake customers, and cancelled the mobile service for me. Avoid the Totem Lake store like the plague. They're shameless grifters. read more

This Xfinity store in Kirkland, Washington, is well run and staffed by very smart Sales Consultants..............This morning at 10:20 I entered the store and got in line to be the 2nd customer in line...................as i was in line I Observed a young man working with a senior woman and this consultant was so professional and took his time as this senior woman needed help, and she got first class help from this consultant, which was who I was in line for next. This consultant was Austin Klemmer..................what a gift Xfinity got when they hired him.........My situation was a charge on my account that I never applied for....................so I was there to tell Austin if he could credit my account for something I never ordered. Austin is a real Gem in this store for Xfinity. He bonds quickly with the customer and he knows after a short introduction of what the customers needs are and he silently investigates and comes to a decision, in a very nice and professional manner. When I left Xfinity I felt good..real good.....because of Austin..............And just a side note. Austin looks so solid, quite but knows very well what is going on. And he works and acts like his supervisor, Cole Wells, which also is a Gem for Xfinity. Being in the Airline Business, i recognize talent, and Austin is Talent. He comes across very pleasant and he appears to exude confidence and that is what you would wish for yourself, and Austin has it. Went to their counter in Bellevue Square about a year ago. Treated like the stuff your dog leaves for you to clean up. Tried the location in Factoria. Same result. Xfinity is a monopoly, and monopolies are supposed to be illegal. Would really like to see some competition for internet providers. Couldn't find one that covered our area and we are about 2 miles from Factoria. read more

I went to xfinity to turn off my internet as of sept 5 or whatever date the rate increased. I was told that they are having a promotion for 65$ for 2 years. The employee failed to tell me it was tied to a mobile phone promotion. I only just happened to read the unprofessional hand written sheet that said mobile -65 no mobile-85 when was I going to be told? After I signed up for it? Then I proceeded to pass she told me "they could just give me a SIM card, activate it and I didn't need to use it. This is the height of American decadence. So I said close my account for September. She actually turned off my service today 8-7-24. They of course couldn't fix this error so I had to call the 800 that is a ridiculous phone tree of incompetence. It took 5 tries to actually get a human-on an error xfinity caused. It took me an hour. But before that I tried to get the employee to implement the process to send me a check for my credit balance she asked and I quote " why would we owe you money if you have a credit balance?" I didn't have the time , patience nor is it my job to explain how credit balances work. read more

I went to the totem lake xfinity store to cancel our internet because it slows in peak hours. They said okay. I got home and we no longer had cable! I did not cancel cable. We have waited 5+ hours without a resolution nor sending a technician out. Xfinity offered a $30 discount because we waited so long without service when they made the error of canceling our cable. We have been with them since 1989 and this is the service we get? No cable? Not impressed with customer service at all! read more

HUGE shout out to Tyler, Col and Alex for phenomenal customer service. I was ready to quit Xfinity Mobile because of a consistently negative experience dealing with their toll-free service number. I went to (Totem Lake) Verizon to make the switch. The result was an epic fail. Those clowns at Verizon were so backward that they screwed up my number port to the point that it took days, and no less than 9 trips between the two stores to figure out what they had done. My phone number was in limbo because incorrect porting information had been entered into their system as well as an incorrect address, and I could access neither their website, nor their service line because BOTH required an active number, and they were the reason why it wasn't working. During this ordeal, the guys at Xfin were incredibly helpful trying to help me troubleshoot, to the point that I changed my mind entirely about switching and went back to Verizon to return my S22 Ultra and cancel all of my services. I was greeted with a moody sales rep $50 "restocking fee" because the box for the phone had been opened, even though it was the rep who opened the box, not me, and I had received ZERO service, wasted hours, gas, missed a day of work and was without a working phone for about 5 days. The rep that returned my phone assured me that since there had been no service that the ""limbo" of the mysteriously screwed-up porting would simply go away. I asked if he could call to confirm and if I'd need a new porting number and he insisted that that was unnecessary and that my number would automatically revert back to Xfinity. I went back to Xfinity to find that this was not the case, and had to return to Verizon, were a manager would juggle me between every other customer that walked in, many of whom were equally livid about service issues. One man, in particular, slamming his fist on one of the desks repeatedly. We ended up calling the porting office and getting a very nice lady who was eager to help, who confirmed that if someone had called them (as I'd requested the previous day) that they would have been able to spot the problem and issue me a porting number (that I'd ALSO requested) to give to Xfinity. (To be Continued...)Verizon wouldn't allow her to tell me the number over the phone, and that they'd need a working number to reopen the account to proceed, but as my old phone was broken, and my number was floating in space, I had to give her my email. She said that it would have been easier if the Manager (Lamont) could just open a phone, or get a returned phone, and put a sim card in it so she could access the porting number, but for some reason, he was unwilling to do it, in favor of leaving me with no option, until the phone rep got a specialist on the phone who figured out a way to rebuild my failed account by using the phone info from the phone that I'd returned. Problem was, their systems were down and she wouldn't be able to do anything until they were back up. Nice huh? Back to Xfinity to update the guys, who'd taken my new phone, and works and put in their safe. Gave my one of their email addresses to contact them if needed. A few hours later, I got an email from the Verizon phone rep with the info I needed, and her assurance that she was going to have the Verizon office that I'd visited looked into. Back at the store, Alex and Tyler were fantastic. Cole had gotten me a great deal on my plan, as well as revising my internet service at a savings, making sure my new modem was en route. These dudes were very creative in finding solutions, even employing another phone to swap sim cards from my broken phone to access necessary information. They worked as a team, and I was truly very impressed. I'm STILL impressed, you just don't encounter that level of service very often. They actually brought me BACK to Xfinity, which was a big surprise to even ME, and offered tips on the best times to reach the most effective service assets over the phone, when calling Xfinity's toll-free number. I moved from out of state a few months ago & needed to cancel my old plan, and reopen a new one here. The branch manager told me that my old account was closed and I left thinking it was so after setting up my new one. A month goes by and I get charged one more time for the last month as the "final" payment. The next month, I get another charge to my account so now I am paying for two accounts in a month with zero usage on the old one. I went back to see what was wrong and was told they couldn't help me in-store and that I had to call corporate. After 26 minutes on hold I get told that someone "will call me back about the credit and that I was in the right", but I never heard anything back. Horrible customer service and they seemed in a rush to get me out the door when there was only 1 other customer & 4 other employees standing around chatting. This is the first time I've ever felt the need to leave a bad review anywhere before, and looking at a new ISP now. read more
