I get home, hook it up and had same issues and had to setup an appointment for a tech to come out He got here and checked to see if my new box was registered to my account and it wasn't. I have been a Comcast/Xfinity Customer for over 22 years. My Internet and Cable Bill recently exceeded $225 per month which is more than my power bill. I called Xfinity, and now Customer Retention is of course overseas now and is nothing more than a glorified Sales Department that has no authority to lower your bill as the Customer Retention Department once had. It's really a pain to even get a live person on the phone anymore! Once you do get a live person they are overseas in another country and you can't understand what they are saying because they Do Not speak good English! My recent experience a couple of days ago was disheartening to say the least. The glorified Sales Department could not lower the amount of $125 per month we were paying for TV, so I cancelled it. We now only have Xfinity Internet until PearlComm Fiber becomes available to our address this year. Once our Xfinity Phones and watches are paid for in the next 12 months we will be cancelling all of our services with Xfinity! PearlComm Fiber will become our new Internet provider and we will be switching our Xfinity/Verizon Cellular service to Visible by Verizon. Way to go Xfinity, you will be losing a customer of over 22 years because of your negligence in taking care of your long time customers who helped you build Xfinity into a great company that is not so great anymore! You will no longer receive $225 dollars of our hard earned money for Internet and TV, and you will not longer receive $145 dollars of our hard earned money for our Xfinity Cellular service! I went in to renew my contract to continue monthly internet charge. The front lady told me that they didn't do that. I had it done past seven years--the last time at that location. She would not even look at my account on the computer. Frustrated, I told them that maybe I should check w ATT. A male agent blurted out, "That's probably your best bet". I've recently disconnected from using their Internet service and desperately want to discontinue using their television service. They provide zero tech-support now and their prices fluctuate upward during the two-year contract, where they set the price low and increase it about 25% over the next 24 months, then they force you to come back in after 24 months and gravel to have it brought back down. read more

After reading the negative reviews I was prepared for a disappointing experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the GREAT service provided by Gretchen. $85 per month for internet was about $50 less than I was paying Spectrum. So far internet service satisfies our household requirements. read more

So I had Xfinity come out to my house because for the past 3 weeks my internet has been really bad like can't connect and get online and play games I'm professional streamer this is my main source of income so it's very important to me that this was resolved in a very timely fashion they came on Monday and tried to resolve the problem it seemed like the problem was fixing but it was not then they scheduled me for Friday of this same week to resolve the problem again when the gentleman came out here the technician to fix the problem I tried to tell him what the problem was he also understood what the problem was and said that he would try to fix it in a prompt fashion well one thing I suggested that all other technicians that normally come out here to fix problems of this nature is to check the tap which is on the power line he seemed disgruntled about this and did not want to do it but my friend who also works for Comcast was on the phone and can verify that he told them that he needed to do this they got into a slight argument and did not seem to get along he went ahead and did it and then came back in and set my internet up he gave me the wrong modem I told him I did not need a lesser modem but the one that I'm paying for he gave me an XBM seven modem and I need an XBM 8 modem that's what I previously had he argued that I was wrong and he knew what he was doing so rather than get to a confrontation I just told him all right then after he left I tried to reach out to Comcast technical support to get the problem solved three different women on the phone told me the same thing that until the outage was done they could do nothing to resolve my problem nor could I be reimbursed financially for the 3 weeks that I have been without service which I am paying for I feel like I've been slighted and it's frustrating to reach out and get no answers therefore I am reaching out to you to have some kind of resolution to this conflict thank you so much for your time read more
