They knocked shit out real fast, but we're still careful and I do not believe they broke anything. The price was decent and I had to hook up that tip line for their patience if not king rose. Beware, They are not very tolerant of non payment. When they finished at the destination I went into my wallet and my credit card was not there, so I offered to keep them on the clock and meet me at the empty house and after about 15 very nervous minutes of this guy thinking I am pulling g his chain, it was spotted in the top of a bag of trash. Physical movers were excellent. BEWARE!!! The company, not so much. They were hired to perform a labor unload for 1 hour of our truck. Never was it presented to us that we would be charge mileage for them to drive to the job. They tacked on $60 for mileage after the fact. We certainly could have hired other people. Total $327 AFTER a $50 deposit. Min 2 hour charge plus mileage and tax. read more

Well, I guess the day on which they moved me from one apartment to the next, in Hattiesburg MS, they was having 10 bad-hair-days. I booked the move 3 weeks in advance. I asked the phone operator how much it would cost to move me. He asked, "How many bedrooms?" I replied, "One." He asked, "How many levels?" I replied, "I am moving from a one level to second level." Peanut replied, "It will be $130.00." I told Peanut that I will call back in about 1 week to put the $50.00 deposit down. I did that and asked again, how much it would cost, we repeated the whole statement above, he again said $130.00. The day before the move I was told it would be $130.00 per hour; instead of owing a balance of $80.00 I had to pay $220.00 the day of the move. The driver got mad and said, "He locked you in at 2 hours, I am only going to move what I can move in 2 hours." I hauled most of the items to the truck myself. They broke so many items. read more

ZERO STARS (they made me pick one in order to post) WARNING ALL MOVERS This is Copied Pasted and edited from my Peanuts Facebook review Peanuts came highly recommended by owners Ray & Malik my last moving company, On The Move Moving Company that's no longer in business. I was moved by Peanuts on Monday July 5. I started noticing rookie moves right away when they left both dollies and tool bag at the 2, 10x15 storage units. But they assured me that they could handle it. I made sure all 3 were aware that I had newly refinished hardwood floors and too please be careful not too scratch. I have a oversized couch, club chair and ottoman. I asked them to put them both in front of the windows in the living room so they could pass by with ease. I'm disabled and have fibromyalgia so I was down for a few days after the move. When I was able to get a man to help me and my daughter move my furniture I found 3 scratches , one was deep. All 3 were under my couch. I didn't call right away like I agree that I should have. We had one trip to my sisters (no dolly) for living room, patio furniture and upright freezer. My sister called me the following Saturday telling me that the movers thought that they had broken her mop with the squirt solution and zip tied it back together. If you'll hide breaking a mop what else would you do. So at that point I decided to call on Monday. I spoke with Cory in the office and asked to speak with the owner, Lashaun Pnut Floyd . He told me that he never sees him and that he was emailing him to call me as we spoke. O sent Lashaun a DM on messenger to please call me about the incident, he never replied. I gave the office until Friday to call me back. After no call from anyone I called back. I was informed that their insurance wouldn't cover the damage because I waited to long to make the report. Ok, I can understand that! But why haven't I been given a courtesy call from the "owner" or ANYONE as I had requested? I was informed he to busy. So before you hire Peanuts make sure that you're ok with it if you have a problem that you likely will not be able to speak with the owner. Yes, Peanuts is locally owned and operated. This is 100% bad business not to care enough about your customers to give a courtesy call back. I know that the customer isn't always right but in this case I am right. Go to Facebook reviews and read the response to my review. You can hear the sarcasm through his text. Pathetic in my opinion! After that scroll and see for yourself how they take no responsibility for any negative reviews. Its always the customers fault. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. Moving is extremely stressful and this company sent rookie guys with no stamina or energy to move my furniture. They argued with my husband that they had to do boxes first, which is a complete scam since they charge you by the hour. They made my husband help them the entire day because they were weak and couldn't lift. My husband had no choice but to help because the guys were so lousy my husband thought they were all to swing furniture into the wall and busy the sheetrock. In the team of 3 one guy stayed in the truck the entire time and made the two weakest guys load and carry. The whole point of hiring moving was so that my husband didn't stress out about the move. A guy threw up in my yard, sweat on my furniture, and leaned his sweaty forehead on my daughter's bedroom wall. They take breaks without stopping the clock. The company over works their employees and doesn't train the staff. I'm extremely dissatisfied. The company made my move 1,000 times harder than it needed to be, because I paid them over $1,000 and they only got 1 rug, and 2 pieces of furniture in my home. Completely disappointed. read more

Just recently moved to the area. I hired Peanut's Moving Service to move furniture that I purchased a local department store. The movers were polite and handle the furniture with care. The movers were willing to move to the furniture to all rooms I wanted the furniture in. They were very flexible with hours they were willing to move the furniture they were willing to come after 5pm. I have a stairs and they picked up the furniture from the location. They charged a very reasonable price ($$) for moving the furniture which was cheaper then other moving company's in the area. I would highly recommend them and will use them again. read more
