Have had zero luck getting any kind of an update on a service update for a day now. The system in the xfinity app simply says there is an outage and provides zero info on the status, it just keeps referring us to a status map that shows no status, just a house image on the street where we live. It has been impossible to get a live person from any number we have tried. There has been no update provided by text or email as promised in the system. Bottom line is that the customer interface is so bad that someone should be fired. Xfinity owes its customers better for the amount service runs each month. This customer interface indicates there is. No customer care... just make your payments, shut up, and leave us alone. Great customer service? What makes it even more frustrating than the fact that there are no updates, the only other info I found after extensive efforts today to try to get updates is the word that they do not give credit for time service is not available if caused by weather incidents! It is clear that Comcast/Xfinity just has no customer care, but who wants to bet that when it finally comes back that they will let us know and let us know that the can provide us a great offer to switch our cell phone service to then too... that happened the last time we had an extended outage. If one ever wants verification that you're a dinosaur, just try to contact or drop in to the local Xfinity store. There may be an effort by the staff to be relatable to older customers, but it's jarring to walk in and be faced with a 20-25 minute wait for service regarding your phone, internet, cable box, security system, etc. When a company says they are simplifying service, be prepared for a complicated, confusing solution. Our cable box for the main television died around 11:30 pm. We followed the directions on the tv screen, called the customer service number, then we got to spend almost 2 hours on the telephone with AI and then a live human rep who we were unable to understand clearly. We were told the HDMI cable was bad...but we knew the box was the problem. We tried a replacement HDMI cable on the box; box wouldn't turn on. We put the original HDMI cable on another tv, it worked. The problem was the box; so the rep said to return box the next day to store and have it swapped out. This call ended about 1:30+am in the morning. The next day, I arrived at the store and the place was full of people. The young man at the door informed me that I had at least a 20-25 minute wait. Dutifully, I took my place in line and waited. Eventually, my name was called and I had to explain my issue again. The employee informed me that if I had a smart tv, I didn't need a box. I advised him that my tv is a dumb tv and needs a box. Within 5 minutes, I had another box and was relieved to be out the door. I do feel traumatized by the whole process. read more

We have been without internet service for an entire MONTH! Penndot was doing road work and snapped the cable along the highway on August 7-8 and xfinity has done absolutely nothing to fix the situation! After numerous calls from me, my mother and my grandmother regarding getting the internet back online we are now in September and still have no internet service. They offered to take $10 off the bill for the inconvenience even though we have had no service for a month. They keep giving us the run around. They put off coming out for nearly a week, when they finally showed up they tried coming into our homes to fix our service boxes even though through the numerous calls telling them that it was an outside issue with the actual cable. They have been out here 3 times and still have not found a solution and we are still without service. I work from home so this is beyond a HUGE inconvenience for everyone involved especially me! They lied saying that they would run a temporary cable across the bridge, and still NOTHING! They told us they had to get permission from Penndot to shut down the highway and still NOTHING. Even though Penndot has the highway shut down every night since to do road construction. Why not just do it at the same damn time as when Penndot has the highway shut down? Makes sense right! Then the icing on the cake, the last time we called the csr had the audacity to tell my 80 yr old grandmother to get permission herself from Penndot to shut down the highway for xfinity to be able to fix the cable and call them back with a date to do the repairs. smfh they won't even do their own damn job. This has got to be the absolute worst company to handle any kind of conflict situation. They don't give a damn about us not having any internet or tv services and it's a shame bc they were still trying to charge us for services. We are now looking for other internet providers that actually care about their customer. read more

The staff is great at sales, but not so much when it comes to fixing what the customer service people in Egypt and India screw up. No local number. No help. Almost all of the employees that work here are not helpful in anyway including the manager, BUT if you want help Please go to Tommy Dosch, he makes every attempt to clear up a problem that another employee has caused. Tommy was helpful, polite and respectful to me and fixed my problem. This is how a place of business should be run and Tommy should be manager, and get the pay he deserves. Her explanation and suggestions were brought to my level of technology knowledge, which is certainly lacking. I did make an appointment and would suggest you do the same to minimize your wait time. I was in recently and have to say the rep named Mike was awesome! He went through my entire plan and showed me how I can get more for my money and the value in new services that xfinity has to offer. I arrived at the store and told the receptionist I wanted to pick up wi-fi pods. She said they had them and would just be a few minutes. I waited OVER AN HOUR before being seen. I was then told oh no. We never stock them. When I asked why I waited an hour for something I specifically ask if they had, I was told sorry thats how it is. When I asked for the manage, he said I am the manger. Westley Shadling pretty much could care less about the whole situation. When I said the receptionist should have known, Mr. Shadling said, she's new and not trained. This is a perfect example of wh you should SWITCH TO THE DISH NETWORK OR FIOS!!! read more

My family made an appointment with this store to switch 4 iPhones from our previous carrier over to Xfinity Mobile. We were half an hour early for the appointment, but were greeted and taken immediately to a customer service representative. Our representative was AMAZINGLY good at her job and customer service was clearly her top priority. She was also very personable, which was a nice touch. Within 35 minutes, she switched all of our phones over to the new service and we were out the door with smiles on our faces. I feel very confident in the service this store is providing. read more

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I drive a half hour plus to take back a box that I was told I HAD to return to be told I did NOT have to come to the store.
