Then after several weeks and multiple mistakes later she calls me and said a non client said something and threatened to stop everything in it's tracks costing me months of my time and several thousand dollars in fees. It was very uncomfortable working with her. Several times I emailed her with multiple questions and she seemed incapable of answering more than one question at a time, disregarding my other questions about the property and the process. I've never heard of anyone "being out of the office."

Here we are, beginning of 2024, being told the attorney died and someone else will proceed with the divorce so long as we just pay for the final step. However, I haven't read about this attorney dying? No one answers the phone. No answering machine/voicemail.. something isn't right here. We also haven't received any further paperwork. How the heck do we just get our money back? Nothing has been done, aside from us sending payments!!
