    No customer service. Unreachable. I have been without internet service for a week and still can't get help to repair it.

    So we asked for Centurylink internet service to a home we just bought from a man whose wife had…read morepassed away here. The seller had stated that he had turned off service a long time ago and there was no current service. The modem he had left did not show any connection. Upon calling the company, they said there was no service account here and we started the new account process. They gave me a connection date and I started receiving texts using my name and number to authorize T&C's etc. I was texted that it was being installed on the day we were told, the company sent me a new modem, and the modem started working! Slow as @&)(; but due to our location we had been warned that beforehand, ok whatever. 3 weeks later the service goes off and my profile suddenly says essentially "installation on hold." What? Multiple calls to numbers requiring excessive phone message trees revealed them having no record of the account being started back a month ago in my name or the original install date texted to me. The order # was the same one so it's not like they thought it was two different orders. They were telling me it could be months before they could install it. We had to spend a lot of time escalating to get it in gear to get turned on again sooner than later. I had returned the new leased modem originally when the old modem I owned and the new modem they sent had no difference in service, before I realized there was an issue with the install. I can only shudder when I anticipate having to argue why I am getting the lease bill as they have no record of receiving the modem back.

I am however now close personal friends with people from India. They know me so well after years of conversations that I'm welcome to visit anytime. The is the poorest excuse ( should be their middle name) for a business that I have ever seen. Don't do it!!! Even their own technician told us to give up and which provider to use. How about that???

    Went to AT&T store on Rt 41 in Port Charlotte after going to a third party AT&T store on king's…read morehighway and finding out our bill wasn't matching up with what we were told, we were sent to the corporate store on 41. within 5 minutes an employee by the name of Chandace assisted us. She was very concerned over our situation and was extremely professional and helpful. She asked us to give her an opportunity to reach her manager and make it right. The next day she got back to us that we had been credited everything that was told to us that had been charged. We will be forever thankful for her and her dedication and caring of her customers. We have been using the AT&T on 41 for the last 20 years and only went to the new one on king's highway out of convenience but have found out that honorable and caring service is worth the drive. Can't say enough about Chandace and how absolutely awesome she is and grateful we are. She was turning a bad situation into a good one and is an asset to AT&T. We are glad she will be around for us in the near future.

I asked him to transfer over all of my data because I am not good at things like this. The salesman told me that I had to transfer all of my data over by myself then proceeded to try to sell me the most expensive thing in the store. I decided to go with the regular iPhone 12 which I do love. But unfortunately, while I was trying to transfer all of my data there was an issue that had a rise, and my phone was down For six hours. I had returned to the store quite unhappy and the salesman was trying to make a joke out of it. I did not offer much of a solution other than just transferring of my data. I had made a comment about the fact that my phone did not come with a wall plug and maybe he could help me out with that either by giving me one for free or discounting it for the fact of all the trouble that I went through. He continued to laugh and said there was nothing he could do.I will never return to the store. If I could give them a negative rating they would get a -10 star rating because this place absolutely sucks in the employee was horrible. I asked to speak to a manager once again he had laughed and said there was not one in the building. I had asked when with there be a manager and he said he did not know I am extremely unhappy. Surprisingly to me, I have not even got a phone call back from corporate.
