Strawberry Matcha
Quinney H.

I woke up craving matcha on my last day in Palm Springs and decided to give Xanti's Coffee in Palm Desert a try after seeing their rave reviews on Yelp and Google. They are located on Floor 1 of The Shops at Palm Desert, a fully indoor shopping mall in Palm Desert. I didn't realize that prior to coming since I had assumed The Shops at Palm Desert were more of an open-air shopping center with a town-like atmosphere similar to Town Square Las Vegas. I'm mentioning this primarily because it took a lot more effort to get to Xanti's Coffee than I initially anticipated. I tried to enter through Dick's on my first attempt to enter the mall, but their internal entrance into the mall was closed at the time. So, I had to exit Dick's, reenter through a main entrance for the mall, and explore the mall to locate the coffee shop. The extra effort was well-worth it because the baristas at Xanti's have excellent attention to detail and meticulously craft the beverages right before your eyes. I was also in "serious business" mode when I placed my order since I knew my exact order and already had my debit card in my hand to make the transaction as quick and efficient as possible. That didn't stop the cashier from striking up a conversation with me and bringing his human touch to the transaction. That impeccable hospitality was a through line of my interactions with Xanti's staff as a customer, which likely explains the bustling crowd at the coffee shop during my visit. I ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes for my strawberry matcha to be made, which I didn't mind for my leisurely Sunday, but something to note if you don't have a lot of time to spare. An added bonus of visiting Xanti's Coffee was getting to see more of the picturesque Coachella Valley and taking a scenic drive along CA-111.

The drinks here are fantastic! I simply can't get enough of their mint Matcha lemonade. So much that we visited every single day during our stay in Palm Desert! I hope they open up more locations and expand to Los Angeles so I can enjoy their drinks more often. Service is wonderful, they are so friendly and upbeat here. Prices are fair and everything is made to order quickly can be customized your liking. Highly recommended if you are looking for a refreshing treat while in the mall! I'll be back every time we are in the area, it's that good!

Iced Strawberry Matcha Crème Latte & Ice Banana Crème Latte with oat-milk

I was honestly surprised by how impressive this coffee shop was--especially for being inside a mall! We ordered the Strawberry Matcha Crème Latte and the Banana Crème Matcha Latte with oat milk, and both were absolutely delicious. Real matcha lovers know that color and presentation matter just as much as taste, and they nailed it . The matcha was vibrant, smooth, and balanced perfectly. The service was also warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I really hope they open a standalone location somewhere else in the Valley--this spot deserves to shine. I'll definitely be coming back for more. Thank you!

Xanti's is my FAVORITE place to go. They have the sweetest employees/owners, everyone knows my name and my favorite orders. Even though they are always packed, they've never made a mistake on any of my drinks. They have gotten so many people hooked, for good reason! Love ya'll!

Matcha was very good, but I'm confused why the large and medium are the same price. However, the service was great and the ambiance was very nice

There was a coffee and tea place at this location before, so I was surprised to see another coffee shop go in. I had never heard the name before, but decided to give it a try. Glad I did. The staff are very friendly. The hot drinks are highly recommended. Their sandwiches are all first tier delicious. I occasionally go here for my lunch and have always been pleased with my order. I love the little signs they put out front showcasing the star drink of the day. Go try it, you will.be glad you did

Did not take a photo, but I had an horchata latte. Let me tell you, it was splendid, reminded me of Tierra Mia in Los Angeles county. Maybe better honestly. The owner was also very kind and patient. Highly recommend coming here.

Horchata matcha and regular matcha

Wow first time coming here and it does not disappoint! I got a regular matcha and a horchata matcha latte and both were sooo good! They had really unique drink combos and I'm definitely coming back to try more. It's on the first floor at the mall so it took a while to find at first but they do also have seating in front. The baristas were really nice and friendly and very helpful.

The café is spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a relaxing atmosphere that you instantly want to stay a while instead of grabbing your drink and leaving. The baristas were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They greeted everyone with a smile and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. You don't see that kind of hospitality very often anymore. The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were just as impressive. We tried the Honey Cake and the Bird's Milk cake, and both were fresh, rich, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they don't cut corners when it comes to quality. As an Armenian, I left with an even bigger smile knowing this place is Armenian-owned. It honestly made me proud to see a local business representing our culture with so much class, warmth, and professionalism. It's a beautiful reflection of Armenian hospitality. Cheers Coffee isn't just another coffee shop. It's the kind of place you look forward to coming back to. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. Wishing the owners and the entire team nothing but continued success. You guys have built something truly special.

I feel bad writing more negative reviews but ordered their "signature" Spanish latte (iced) and it…read morewas pure milk. It was completely white with minimal coffee reaching the bottom line of the cup. Is that even a standard double shot of espresso? I knew from looking at it that it wasn't drinkable. That was confirmed after I mixed and tasted it. It was brought to me at work so not like I could get it remade or order something else. The condensed milk with regular milk shouldn't make a difference either as I've had Spanish lattes before that actually taste like coffee and the flavors blend well. Also tried a cappuccino which was plain and nothing special. There was just no richness to it and I wonder if it was the beans. Additionally, Cheers could benefit from listing what's in each signature drink on the menu. How are we supposed to know what's in a Dirty Desert or Floral Escape? If the ingredients aren't going to be included on the menu, baristas should know what information to share. I was told staff wasn't very clear on the signature items and even had to check when another customer asked if there were seasonal offerings. Shouldn't they know? Maybe that's reflected in how the drinks are made. As for food, they have a wide selection of pastries that did look really good. The strawberry cheese danish was okay, but probably wouldn't get it again as the filling tasted a little artificial. Just disappointing when you want something fresh. The Coachella Valley is growing with flavorful coffee shops and unfortunately I do not think Cheers can compete at this time.

I have been on a matcha latte kick for some time now and this wonderful spot is close to home…read more Stopped by on a Saturday morning and as you would expect, they were quite busy. Line out the door, but the lined moved fast. Staff were extremely friendly. I chose a hot Matcha Latte, the largest size they had, which I believe was 10 or 12 oz. I had regular milk with added vanilla syrup. The pastries looked good to, so chose a warmed almond croissant. The Matcha latte was very good. I watched the gentleman make it and it looked like they have a squeeze bottle matcha already pre mixed, which seemed cool, so you do not get any green tea lumps in your latte, so I really liked that. The almond croissant was decent, buttery with nice toasted almond topping. What was strange, was that the croissant was sliced in half, but nothing in the middle, so just confusing why it was sliced in half? Not sure if it was supposed to have some almond filling like they normally do, maybe they just forgot on this one? I am definitely returning and will be trying even more drinks. May they continue to forEverBloom!!

ZERO STARS -- 30+ MINUTES FOR A CUP OF COFFEE IS ABSURD…read more I waited more than 30 minutes for a freaking cup of coffee at Everbloom Coffee - Downtown. Thirty. Plus. Minutes. I literally wasted essentially my entire lunch break waiting for coffee. I don't care how good the coffee is--there is absolutely no world in which waiting over half an hour for a cup of coffee is reasonable or sustainable. People might tolerate this once because the place is new to them, they're curious, or they've heard good things. But how many people are going to repeatedly sacrifice 30-40 minutes of their day just to get coffee? Time is far more valuable than a cup of coffee. And that's the real problem here. This isn't just about being "a little slow." When a coffee shop requires this much time for something people specifically buy because it should be relatively quick and convenient, there is something fundamentally wrong with the operation. Whatever the bottleneck is--staffing, workflow, equipment, order volume, or the entire service model--it desperately needs to be fixed. You can make the greatest coffee in Riverside, but if customers have to surrender their entire lunch break to get it, what's the point? Everbloom seriously needs to rethink its business model and figure out how to handle customers efficiently. Otherwise, people may come once for the experience, but many simply won't come back. A 30+ minute wait for ONE CUP OF COFFEE is not sustainable. Period.
