Mark wasn't the greatest businessman in the world, and we members put up with the lacking ventilation, dirty bathrooms, old furniture, and other shortcomings because of Mark......we knew how much he loved us and that shop. Since his unfortunate passing the owner has brought in a new manager and the words "customer service" or "member" are not part of his vocabulary. Numerous changes have been implemented that make us all feel more like a number than a member, but the most egregious came last Thursday when I walked in the shop and the poker table where I and a number of other members gathered a few days a week to play some cards had been taken out. No warning, no conversation, no explanation. When I initiated a discussion with the manager, he basically told me that my and our opinions did not matter, as we are "just members". After 20 years, we were cast aside like some dirt off the bottom of your shoe. I hate to say it but I, as well as about another 15+ members have quit our memberships.
