I was doing a last minute check-through of my bridesmaid's gown, and 'lo and behold--it was dragging on the floor. The length of the dress surpassed the height of my heels so I had a dilemma of buying higher heeled shoes (which is always a bad option when you're a servant of the bride) or get it trimmed. After being turned down by one tailor on Main st., I thankfully found this friendly dry cleaning business just off of Main st, and they were able to fix the length of the dress for me overnight. Not to mention they dry cleaned and pressed the dress for me. Sure it was super pricey--but, hey, I got what I was looking for and the dress was comfy enough to walk around all day and dance all night in. Next time I won't wait till the night before...

I'd like to give a shout out to Y&S Cleaners in Nyack. Gave them a beautiful antique lace baptism…read moredress to see if they could make the lace white again. The dress was made from the lace of the child's great grandmothers wedding dress and passed down to each generation. They finished it quite quickly and it looked amazing. I tried other dry cleaners for various things around the Rt 59 corridor and have not been satisfied until I found Y&S. I will be recommending this business to all my neighbors.

I'm subtracting a star because their dryers are not very intuitive to use and I needed help to work it, which seems ridiculous as I've never needed help operating anything in a laundromat before. I appreciate the option to be able to use my credit card to fund a laundromat card to avoid messing with quarters. They do charge a one-time $1 fee to get the card initially, but as they probably take a hit from the credit card companies that seems fair, and my former laundromat didn't even offer the option so it was quarters city only. Overall this is a nice place with parking that some other places in town don't offer, and I'm definitely going back.

To sum it up..NEVER AGAIN This is my second time coming to…read morethis dry cleaners. I have been to a few dry cleaners before and let me tell you, this one is by far the WORST! This is the first time I have been told that they cannot dry clean something for me because I have to wash it first. On top of that, they charge 5.75 for a single shirt. That price is just absurd! The first time I went here, they didnt even do a good job dry cleaning..it's as if all they did was iron...my shirts were still dirty.
