2/23/21 - X L Excavation just drove a very large excavator equipment down the road I live on (for over half mile). My house shook so badly. They have left contaminants from a wildfire clean up site they were working, on all over our road. We have lots of dogs and walkers on our road and they are having to walk through the mud, dirt and rocks that are contaminated. They will carry that contamination/hazardous material into their homes on the bottom of their shoes and paws. X L Excavation stands for "eXtra Lazy" Excavation. Their excuse is that could not back all the way up with their equipment on a low-boy/trailer. News Flash!!!! We see contractors and large vehicles do it all the time. They just need a safe work plan and spotters and they could have backed up and not shook all the homes they drove by and not left all the hazardous containments on the road. Making a safe work plan is called "project management". Be a caring and respectful partner in the community, that you are provide service to, was not present today. Please don't take short cuts and don't give stupid excuses for your lack of judgement and caring. Take ownership. As I shared before, X L stands for "eXtra Lazy". How would they like some company leaving hazardous contaminates in the neighborhood they live in? One of their workers tried to scrap it up with a shovel, but he was just shoveling it onto all the neighbors' property. FYI . . . I did not hire this company, but I know that if I needed excavation services, it would NOT be with the eXtra Lazy Excavation. I hope they come back and clean up our road!
