Beware of Unprofessionalism and Poor Communication I had a very disappointing experience with Xcopper after hiring them for both a speeding ticket and a DUI case. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse after I made full payment for my speeding ticket and a partial payment for my DUI case. To start, the handling of my speeding ticket was sloppy, and my DUI case was treated with minimal attention. I later discovered that Xcopper frequently hires third-party lawyers to manage DUI cases, many of whom seemed inexperienced and unprofessional. Initially, I had no direct contact with the lawyer assigned to my case. After several weeks, I was finally assigned a lawyer who, unfortunately, lacked competence. From that point on, communication was virtually non-existent, and most of my interactions were with his assistant, who was not a legal professional. I spoke to my lawyer about twice for a few minutes: first was after I paid Xcopper and then another was for a brief 10-minute conversation, despite having scheduled a longer meeting. This lack of communication and professionalism gave me the impression that the firm was outsourcing cases to cut costs, at the expense of quality service for their clients. After paying thousands in legal fees, I received very little information about the progress of my case. After about two months, I was told by the assistant that my only options were to either plead guilty or go to trial, without any clear explanation of the reasoning behind these options. When I confronted my lawyer, he seemed indifferent and gave vague, unhelpful responses. He even suggested that, as a Canadian citizen, I could plead guilty and still be fine with a criminal record--an alarming and unprofessional statement. In the end, I was left with no choice but to fire the lawyer they assigned to me and hire a more competent attorney. The entire experience felt more like a money grab than a genuine effort to resolve my legal issues. I strongly advise caution if you're considering Xcopper. Their communication is poor, they don't thoroughly review your case or disclosures, and they fail to provide the level of care you'd expect from a law firm. I created a yelp account because they have been flagging all my reviews on Google which makes the review stay private where only the business and the person who posted it can see it and not the public, and the funny part about it is they pay to have fake positive reviews posted on Google haha! These frauds pay for fake reviews on Google! And Don't hire these guys they are frauds! Once they get your money they will push you to do early resolution which is something you can do yourself! And if you ask them to fight your ticket they make you attend the trial to fight for yourself! They also didn't want me to appeal the judge's decision saying it's impossible! I don't know why but they don't want you winning in court or at least that's the feeling I got from the experience (they are called x COPS for a reason) right now I'm in the process of appealing the judge's decision and I have discovered these guys had lied to me about so much stuff including giving me the wrong address to go to when I wanted to appeal the judge's decision... it's a Super shady firm I do not recommend these even to my enemies and judging from what I have heard they had filed bankruptcy when Google was still allowing negative reviews to be posted. Ps: if you think I'm lying try testing the reviews part yourself! Leave a negative low review on their Google and then try checking their reviews while you are signed out of Google or from another Google account and you will see how deceiving these people are. read more

Because of the nature of the collision the offense and ticket were most serious & I felt that I needed to challenge these so I called X-Copper and was so glad I did. Worst experience in my life. Not only do they charge way more than an actual lawyer would, my lawyer, Mr Dotsikas, has absolutely the worst professional demeanor I've seen. During our calls he called my case " absolutely horrible" and had nothing to add about potential outcomes. The first time I spoke to him I would add in things to correct what he was saying, and he replies " if your like this with me I can't imagine what the cops had to deal with". These guys are brutal!! Get everything in writing! They will want all your money up front. You must provide complete and accurate details of the incident in advance. They will represent you with either the prosecutor or go to court (for more money). But will never give you any feedback in writing! They are nothing more than negotiators to a lesser charge. If you are looking to get your ticket dismissed, they are not the people to use. They know all the police officers at personal level, all the prosecutors at a personal level, even the judges. I had an extremely good experience with the paralegals who assisted me with my Ticket. They were prompt and kept me in the loop regarding my charge as well as answered all my questions regarding my charge and the court appearances. They were able to get my driving charge thrown out. I would highly recommend and remind anyone who uses x-copper (or any paralegal firm regarding a traffic violation) is to never be afraid to ask questions regarding your charge, the court dates and what is going on. Cannot advise against this enough. They are 100% a scam. During my first phone call with one of their paralegals, he told me that I do not pay the fine if we don't win. He later retracted this and claims he never said that, even though I never would have hired them if that was the case. I've used them 7 times and every time they have either saved me my points or a suspension. They can also lower fines easily. Jenna did an appeal and it was successful.
