This was our first visit to Wynnwood at Navy Pier court. The restaurant is very visually appealing, bright colorful and eclectic with an energetic vibe. The food was excellent, I had the shrimp and grits It came with poached eggs and potatoes it was delicious! My husband had the avocado toast with a side of poached eggs and turkey bacon, he enjoyed every bite. My friends had the steak and eggs and the Wynnwood burger, they were also very pleased. Our server Monique was perfect! She was warm friendly attentive and professional. The rest of the staff were also very warm and hospitable. This was my first time visiting Wynwood. I enjoyed my experience. The service was amazing. Our waiter's name was Frankie, he was so great and so attentive. He gave great suggestions and was very social. The food was really good. We couldn't decide between the calamari and the bang bang shrimp; so Frankie put in a special order of "bang bang calamari" and it was soooooo good. He also suggested the mojito which was very good. My main order was the buttermilk chicken sandwich which I enjoyed. My partner enjoyed his garlic steak sandwich as well. The restaurant is really clean and spacious. I have mixed feelings about this place. First time was during the day with my husband and 8 month old at the time. Food wasn't bad, but it's super pricey. Service was good. The vibe is very nice as well. It gives that Miami feel to it. Second time I came was for a Drake brunch--the DJ was playing all the classic Drake songs. Def a great time. WHAT AN AMAZING RESTAURANT! So happy that we decided to take the trip from jersey to Staten Island for brunch on New Year's Day. Wynwood has the cutest decor and a great vibe as soon as a you walk in. Such a cute place for brunch, date night or a dinner out with friends/family. The waiter was fantastic! He made sure to explain the menu so that we would get the most bang for our buck and really made sure that we had a great time. For starters with the brunch packages you are given a pastry and fruit starter which was so cute AND tasty. Now the main dishes, O. M. G. it all turned out delicious. I ordered the fruity pebbles pancakes, my husband ordered the Garlic Steak Sandwich with truffle fries, and my two friends ordered the Oreo pancakes with a side of bacon and a Wynwood burger. I normally really enjoy coming to Wynwood for the food and atmosphere. It's always a good time and it's great for brunch. On Saturdays and Sundays it's a huge party all the time and it's a lot of fun to go. This past time I was disappointed with my food, I ordered the pancakes and they were burnt. I couldn't eat them, I could tell they were burnt from the taste. But you couldn't see because of the lightning and the Oreos. All my friends we're happy with there meal. I'm just not ordering these pancakes ever again. The service was fine, there pretty attentive. And they had a photographer came around and take pictures of you to purchase if you wanted. read more

I feel like everything we asked for, they didn't have. We were there pretty early (12:30pm) which was kind of a bummer. The waitress was welcoming, however she did forget to put in part of our order. The food was great I got steak with fried onions and fries. I've been here before and I've gotten tacos those are really good too. I've also tried their brunch when it was the Barbie brunch and it was so fun and I got eggs and they were really good as well. The dj was really good and it was fun. However service was very slow. They also messed up on our drinks. They also said they were bringing out dessert for my birthday but never did. I visited this newly opened restaurant on Navy Pier Court last month--I discovered the place via an Instagram ad. On the day I went, it was unseasonably cold, but outdoor dining was the only option. They had two large tents sent up, so people could eat and be sheltered from the elements. The staff was very friendly and gave us the option to sit wherever we chose. After a few moments, they took our order; however, the food took a very long time to come out. I understood they were newly open during the Covid period and just may have been understaffed. We ordered the following items: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Pancakes--very large; my daughter was barely able to eat half Red Velvet Pancakes--good, but very large. Probably should have just split in half and shared one order. Eggs and Home Fries-enjoyed the eggs really didn't care for the home fries Chorizo Omelette--my girlfriend enjoyed..did mention it was a little cold Cheese Grits--large serving. I approved I enjoyed my visit here, the food, the prices were fair, the interior looked great. I would say the time you wait for your meal should be improved--but I would definitely return here. read more

Goodness gracious, happy that Wynwood is thriving during this time! A friend and I went indoors yesterday for brunch. I think they may be working out the kinks since they do get a influx of take out orders and it looked like the staff was zipping everywhere. Very attentive, but there was a little lag with drinks- again, they only have so much staff but lots of orders to fulfill. The tables were spaced out and all of the servers were wearing their face coverings. I ordered: Bacon, egg, cheese burger (medium), and it came with fries. The everything brioche bun was just perfect. I also had a ginger shot- totally recommend if you are into that thing. My friend had their lox platter and Greek salad. Not good. Super cute inside but the drinks and food we had were not good at all. The frozen margarita was so watery and had no alcohol. So I switched to a mojito and it was terrible as well. So I had a chance to visit Wynnwood again but this time I went for Sundays brunch! We got there for opening 11:00 a.m and was greeted sweetly as soon as we walked in. Like the first time I visited the environment was lovely , very clean, organized and pleasant. We ordered waffles, French toast, and calamari from the brunch menu. The calamari was super tasty, the French toast was good, but the waffles were VERY DENSE! I tried to drown them in syrup but it didn't help. So I ate less and decided not to keep pouring syrup because of the sugar. We also ordered cheesecake which was not good at all and tasted thick and old. Our waitress was good but could have been a bit more attentive. The music was AMAZING celebrating the 80s. Loved the costumes and festive atmosphere that surely made up for the waffles and cheesecake. Our main disappointment was a Guy in a Trump costume that kept parading around the room. WTF does Trump have to do with celebrating the 80s? And why did we have to be subjected to politics while paying to enjoy a Sunday afternoon together. And we are NOT Trump supporters!!!! Wrong place for sure and several patrons appeared to be offended. This was not the place or time to play politics. Why would we spend our money at Wynnwood to be subjected to politics that has no place where I spend my money? Don't think I will be visiting WYNNWOOD again. Trump may have won Staten Island but there are ALOT of folks on the island who didn't vote for him. And will share my experience at Wynnwood with many of them. Definitely poor taste!!!!!! read more

BEES!!! While I have come to this restaurant a couple of times, today my boyfriend and I encountered a swarm of bees attacking us during our meal. It was horrible and not an enjoyable experience. One of the few gems in Staten Island lol, I came here after work to tackle on "the colossal" drink with a few friends. Love the fact that it came out with the sparklers to give it that club feel, definitely worth the price and very tasty. I had the empanadas and have no complaints about it. There is a ton of parking and it is by the water. On certain days they also have a live DJ. Ill be back to see what there brunch is about and Ill update again then. What a fun, funky Staten Island spot! I was hesitating to come here for dinner because to me it seems like more of a brunch spot. Well, this is an all around spot. I did the $45 price fixe which was well worth it. The chips and salsa were those crisp homemade chips. Arepas were good but I didn't like the spicy sauce on them. The avocado salad was excellent. The ingredients were so fresh. The bright, red tomatoes popped in my mouth. The bang bang shrimp was a little too spicy. I had steak with peppers for my entree and it was excellent. The steak was tender with a sweet sauce. All the drinks were excellent. Mojitos are top notch. It was my girlfriends birthday so they brought out a sparkler, churros and their best singing voices to make for a memorable night. My family decided to go out for dinner this Thanksgiving and had THE BEST TIME at Wynwood Restaurant. The ambiance is modern, cool and fresh. The service was TOP TIER and the food was incredible! They had a full Thanksgiving menu + the option to order off of the regular menu. We started with appetizers. Our favs were the scallops (bacon wrapped and regular), lollipop lamb chops and calamari (General TSOs and regular)! It all was so good and plentiful that most of us had no room for entries! We did however order two entries. The salmon and we had to try the Thanksgiving meal. Both were amazing! O, and the drinks! The cocktails were also yummy! Went on a Sunday with a party of 20+. Spoke to the event coordinator almost 3 weeks prior to inform of the large party. When we arrived, we sat in the main area alongside the back of the wall. The service was deplorable. One waitress catering to my own large party as well as the rest of the restaurant. It was disturbing how hard the waitress had to work. Not even the 2 bus boys were working as hard as her. One bus boy who wore glasses had an attitude as if my party was aggravating him. It took over an hour for the entrees to come to the table and that was after 2 complaints. One entree was returned because it had pork and the patron does not eat meat. That entree was not returned until 4:05pm. We got to the restaurant at 1:15pm. The hostess claimed they were not notified that a large party was coming, yet I showed text messages between the coordinator and I. Also someone from the restaurant called to confirm the reservation on the Saturday. It was rather embarrassing to have a party that consist of out of state ppl and ppl who never been to Staten Island to be subjected to horrendous service. I do not recommend this restaurant unless you need social media worthy pics. read more

Just the right crisp on the bacon and the scallops were cooked nicely. Steak benny and belgian waffles were great as well. Def would love to come back to try their dinner menu. Abit on the pricier side for brunch but the cute decors makes up for it. We first came here for lunch when the place just opened and there weren't many people. We were maybe the second or third table there eating. The food and service was good, so we decided to come back after their flooding situation. I asked three different servers for water with lemon. The fourth time, we finally got some water. The lemon never made it. My boyfriend asked for medium rare steak... and it was not cooked properly to his preference. My food was a little salty, but still good. Hostess was rude beginning and end. We waited in the lobby area for a table. She "came to get us" but barely said a word, didn't even put in the effort to open the door for us. She walked us over and pointed at the table... at the end of the meal, our server said we could validate the parking ticket with the hostess. We walked up to the counter and she barely wanted to look up, my boyfriend asked her if they validate the ticket and she had an attitude and just said "no". I've been there 2 times. This was my 3rd time. The food is great, the drinks are awesome, and the wait staff all work very well together. This last time my only feedback is on the hostess. I didn't have a reservation and she said 10 minutes and then said you all can sit in the the front. No smile nothing. While sitting there I went on line and book a reservation for 2:45. I then went back in and said I booked a reservation for 2:45. Do you see it? She said I see, but I told you 10 minutes not even looking at me. I said it's been 10. She looked up and then pointed to her screen and said no it's been 4. If you're cold you can sit over there. Pointing to the swing chair. I also have a restless 7 year old with me and there was several tables open. I walked over to the chair and my husband knowing me so well said, I can't believe you're staying. I replied, this is the first time this has happened. I will let a manager know. She gets the menus and walks us over to the table. She dropped a menu on the floor and didn't even say sorry. Our waitress Danielle was very nice and the waiter, so sorry I forgot his name recognized my husband for the gym. I asked Danielle for something that wasn't on the menu and she made sure we got it. We ate and after I paid the bill I asked for the manager. She was very nice and listened to me. She said she had also gotten another compliant on this hostess. She asked do you want anything? I said no and that is why I paid the bill before I called you. I just wanted to give you the feedback because this is the first time this has happened and this hostess needs training. She maybe having a bad day. We thanked her and as we were leaving Danielle came back and apologized. I thanked her for her sincere concern and told her I will see her soon. The atmosphere was perfect: good music, nice vibes as soon as you walk in, the drinks omg I can't even describe how good they were. I was singing if you like piña coladas lol get the piña colada flight (you get to pick 3 flavors and they're all yummy!) and the food was incredible! My husband, my daughter and myself enjoyed everything about our afternoon brunch here. My daughter and I already picked out what we're having the next time we come because we will definitely be back! We ordered our food and drinks together and didn't get our drinks until 9:20pm. Our food came out at 10:30pm. I had the shrimp and grits and it was bland to me. The drinks were great. I can't give this place more than two stars because I had a subpar time. The DJ wasn't playing anything lit. We left around 12am.
