I highly recommend Dr. Jenny Li. She is knowledgeable and caring. I have made a lot of progress with her and she diligently worked with me to get me well...and she is keeping me well! She is my partner in health! In addition to keeping my Lyme Disease at bay, she has helped me with my depression. I have been able to really cut down on my depression drugs and stop Lyme antibiotics completely. Some have written about the "dreary" location. I can only say that I used to go to a very fancy and expensive place in Beverly Hills. Jenny Li is every bit as good if not better. If you want to pay more for your visit, pay parking, and fight traffic - go to the expensive place. If you want to really get well and have less hassle, go to Jenny. She is certainly clean and uses fresh needles. Its all in your perspective. I have no reservations about recommending Dr. Jenny. read more

"Dr" Jenny Lee should be sued for malpractice for advising patients to stop taking anticonvulsant medication and canceling corrective surgery without being a real doctor. I made the mistake of sending my dad to her, who had been suffering from pain in his neck and arm. Rather than stick to her lane and just practice acupuncture, she told my dad that he IMMEDIATELY needed to get off Gabapentin and cancel a pending surgery. GOOGLE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ABRUPTLY CUT OFF GABAPENTIN. It's horrible. It's life threatening. My father ended up in the emergency room and our entire family dealt with a horrible medical (physical and mental) crisis. Thanks, "Dr" Lee! Thanks for a memory we'll never forget, thinking I was witnessing my dad die. I cannot believe this woman is still allowed to practice any kind of health treatment when she so clearly doesn't understand how unqualified she is to give medical advice to vulnerable patients- not to mention how dangerous it is. That she hasn't been sued into oblivion is incredible. STAY AWAY. read more

Was given a lot of mysticism over the few sessions I tried, and had a lot of painful slips. At one point the main technician confessed (unprompted) that it's not real acupuncture because of US law, and that it doesn't really do anything compared to Chinese traditional acupuncture. I was going to these sessions to humor my partner, but after one of the visits in which my muscles twitched, I was told that means I have brain damage and only acupuncture could cure it. I think I do have brain damage if I decided to keep going here. Waste of money. read more

YES! YES! YES! Dr. Jenny is the best acupuncturist I've had in this country! And I've been to some, from a school to professional practitioners. For years, my 80-yr old mom has been going from one physical therapy group to another, trying to find relief for the arthritis in her neck, and her knees. For the last two years, she could not turn her head. I saw her Wed and noticed she was more vibrant. She then told me she had just had a treatment by Dr. Jenny. She turned her head, and bent her knees to show me what she could now do. She was amazed and so was I, all from the first treatment. The next day I came down with an infection, went to see an MD who told me to take 6-8 Advils every 8 hours for the pain, it just didn't seem right that I'm dumping more toxins in my body. I decided to see Dr. Jenny for relief. She told me what she's going to do, what I should do, and how I would feel the next day. I was faced down on the table as she inserted needles from the top of my head, down my spine, to my toes. Then she directed heatlamps on me (first time someone did this), turned off the lights, and off I dozed to lala-land. Then Cece came in to do the massage. Now, this is a very different massage from all massages I've ever had. It was deep but it did not hurt my muscles. I felt relief instead. The strokes started from the vertebrae and radiated out, like following the nerves, instead of following the muscles. It was so good that I asked for an hour. I felt circulation for the first time in years. Then they put my head on a contraption that stretched your neck gently. I woke up this morning and my pain from the internal organ infection has subsided greatly. I have more energy and it even seems as if I can see better!!! Their fees are reasonable. $50 for acupuncture, $25 for 30 min massage, $40 for an hour massage. The place is not fancy schmansy, but clean. Definitely worth every penny, and this coming from someone who's been trying to find relief for many, many years. They have free covered parking. Definitely going back! read more

I got in a car accident and my lower back was really hurting bad. I tried physical therapy for three months and it did not help me at all. Afterwards I was recommended to see Dr. Jenny Li at Wynn Acupuncture. After only five sessions I feel really really good. They are very professional and have great service. I recommend anyone to go and try them and they will not be disappointed. read more

I cannot recommend Dr. Li. I had a problem with my jaw (TMJ) and after 7 sessions there was no change. My jaw actually got worse during treatment and I got a bacterial infection that required antibiotics. To be fair this might not have been caused by Dr. Li's treatment, so I am giving her 3 stars instead of 2. Dr. Li was very anti-western medicine, which I can understand completely. But, she did not suggest seeing a medical doctor when I had the infection, which would have been prudent. I did see one and got the antibiotics which cleared up the infection. Dr. Li did have concern for my health, but her treatments and explanations fell short of what I expected. read more

I became a patient of Dr Li during a very stressful time when I was experiencing a great deal of pain and stress. What I experienced was a dramatic drop in blood pressure, neck pain, and shoulder pain. There were two occasions, over a two week period, when my diastolic pressure was reduced by 11 and 12 points. I am fortunate to respond to Acupuncture well. Some significant long term benefits are an increased awareness of blood pressure sensations and a reduction of chronic and aggravated pain in my neck and shoulder. I still visit my Chiropractor, but now I'm feeling better than just with Chiropractic treatments. I believe Dr Li has Pulled me back from a dangerous precipice and I am very happy I found her on Yelp! read more

Dr. Li has saved my life! I have been going to her for acupuncture for over a month now and i haven't been happier. I went in for chronic migraine which had me in the the emergency room in September. The doctors told me nothing to prevent and only prescribed medication. I did my research and found Wynn's Acupuncture. I haven't had a migraine since then. She is very gentle with her practice and very knowledgable about health. Not only does she heal her patients, but she also educates them as well. Acupuncture helps with suppressing appetite and fastening the metabolism so i have lost 11 lbs since I have gone to Dr. Li. Please consider this place for any health concerns and issues and lay off medication. read more

Wonderful!! I know it takes more than one visit to fix your issues, which is why I was pleasantly surprised to feel absolutely wonderful after my very first visit! Literally one go and I felt like I got zapped... as in, zapped of all and stressed and tensions... almost as if I'd gotten a massage. Yet, even better than a massage, since acupuncture deals with stimulating and clearing meridians in your body, the results are much more profound and long lasting than a massage. Dr Wynn asked a bunch of questions about my health that I didn't think were related ... then I come to find out that acupuncture can treat all kinds of crazy things you wouldn't have thought of. Also I feel like I'm not just a patient, she really cares. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Li for about 10 years on and off for pain, persistent in my knees and lower back pain from two auto accidents. Dr. Li has also helped with my digestion & sleep issues. I have tried other Acupuncturists but I don't get the results I get after I seeing Dr. Li. She and her staff have always been caring, kind, and best of all the results of her work can be AMAZING but always give me extra energy and a feeling of well-being. I usually come after work and Dr. Li leaves the needles in for 20-40 minutes and I just relax or even fall asleep. The massage afterwards puts me into sleepy mode. I awake the next day with more energy and vigor, ready to tackle the City once again. Thanks so much to Dr. Jenny Li and her staff. read more

I got treated by Dr. Li for back pain and abdominal pain. She is caring, kind, really cares for her patients. I felt very comforted and safe here, even though I am not the biggest fan of needles! Dr. Li's Office is not the newest... BUT!!! if you get past looks, you will find that she is an extremely knowledgeable acupuncturist. After getting injured on the job in the shoulder, it was hard to find someone who was good and understands insurance/works comp in the Chinese medicine world. But the main reward is her experience. Before going to her, I was just doing physical therapy and wasn't getting any better. After 2 months of once a week treatments, I found relief in both movement and pain. I continue to go to her even though the Works Comp has stopped covering it so I can get a full recovery. The added benefit is that she works with a great masseuse. She is a tiny person with hands like steel. For a great massage - she is well worth it and very, very reasonably priced. My kids love to see her when they are home from college. Slight Cons - Dr Li does think she can cure everything but it is due to how much she cares. Focus on what is really important so she also stays focused as she really wants to make you better. Also - Chinese is their first language so stick to the facts so you are clear with what you need. Good doctors who care are hard to find and she is not pricey at all. A great combination to have in today's health care system. read more

Unfortunately, I'm not leaving the best review I'd like to leave. I think the doctors are quite knowledgeable and very friendly. They are also good reads of what is really going on. However, my poor review is because the location is dreary, uninviting, musty, dusty, and it makes me question how clean things are. The carpet looks like it hasn't been washed in years and there are just folders and boxes everywhere. For people who are concerned with moving and clearing energy this is a very poor representation. Thanks. read more

A good friend continues to tell me, "make an appointment with yourself."... I had been feeling intense shoulder and neck pain, and a friend has recommended Dr. Jenny Li to me for a long time. So, I finally decided to "make an appointment with myself" and go see her. It wasn't long until Dr. Jenny had me figured out. I told her my shoulder and neck pain, although has always been there, had intensified in the last month. She asked how I was sleeping. I replied I can't get enough sleep, and I have no energy which is highly unlike me. She looked at my tongue, felt my wrists with a concerned look on her face and asked how my stress level had increased lately. I told her I had recently lost my dad. "You're depressed", she replied. "I am going to treat your whole body, not just your neck, you will feel better". Some reviews of Wynn Acupuncture have not been too complimentary, complaining about the aesthetics of her office. I ask every person who needs her help..."Is it the nice fountain babbling away in the background with the awaiting cucumber lemon water you find at some health spas healing you? Or is it rather a warm, knowledgeable, friendly Doctor, with a masseuse named Annie you need at the ready on your side to heal you body and soul? I am once again feeling like my old self with Dr. Jenny and Annie's help. My concluding suggestion to anyone curious about trying acupuncture especially with Dr. Jenny: Open your mind and your heart, and participate in the care of yourself, and you will be rewarded with great health and happiness. Thanks Dr. jenny read more

I saw Dr. Li through Kaiser because it was inexpensive. I figured the location her business resides in would be very high end and well equipped with good service. I was wrong. The office is unsanitary, small and claustrophobic. Dr. Li is somewhat rude, cuts you off in between sentences and dictates how the treatment will go. Eh, maybe it's a cultural thing, but I don't believe in doing business that way. My second visit was horrible, she caused me pain that followed up with sciatic nerve pain (which I did not have previously) I certainly give credit where credit is due, but I will not continue treatment here... read more

My mom always feels tinnitus recently. It distrubed her sleeping and normal life indeed. Although she tried lots various doctors, the tinnitus still created noises everyday and night. However, I have not heard her complains since several weeks ago. She told me Dr. Li used his acupuncturists to cure her. After it took 5-6 sessions, my mom told the "noises" disappeard. Finally she can sleep comfortablely. As a son, I am so be grateful for the amazing doctor and highly recommend this treatment. read more

I found this place on Yelp with good reviews and sent my mom in for treatment, she has had 4 spinal and neck surgeries in the past and was suffering from pain and anxiety caused by the painkillers she was using. After the 4th session here, she stopped the painkillers and is perfectly fine for her condition. The pain is not completely gone but it is perfectly managed by Dr lee. I'd never been to acupuncture before, but this was a great experience and it has made a huge difference after only two sessions! I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy about 5 months ago. After being discharged from hospital I started taking medication. Those who know anything about the disease they know that one side of the face gets affected, which easily it can be misinterpreted with stroke. I was recommended by friends and coworkers to start acupuncture. To that point I never did or intended to do acupuncture. But looking at the mirror and noticing how deformed my face was I decided to give it a go. After research I came across Dr. Li on my insurance list and yelp reviews. I was extremely scared but first visit she assured me that everything will be fine and anytime you feel discomfort we will stop. This was probably one of the best decisions that I've made in my life. I did 10 sessions (twice a week) by session 7 I started noticing that my face muscles started to move and after the 10th I was able to completely move my facial muscles as to nothing ever happened. In less than 3 months she gave my normal face back. Her treatments ware right on point. Everyone including my doctor were surprised of the fast recovery. I have no one to thank but Dr Li. I went to Dr. Li's office when i had a really bad pain in knees all the way up to my lower back. This was my first experience with acupuncture so I didn't know exactly what to expect. Dr Li was very professional and very patient in explaining what she was going to do. I had a really good experience; the price is very reasonable $50 for an hour. I was recommended to Dr. Li by Dr. Rahm due to chronic pain issues I had been struggling with for over a year. My symptoms were strange and were not being affected my modern medicine. I unfortunately underwent surgery, which did nothing. Then I went on some heavy pills that started messing with my health. I tried acupuncture with Dr. Li and could not be happier! After 14 sessions my pain is at an all-time low, and I have been able to cut my meds to about 5% of what they used to be. I will be reducing my pills to 0 within the week. I have been seeing Dr. Li for a little over one month now. I have had horrific migraines for ~15 years, and after visits to doctors and trying migraine medicine, I began taking a homeopathic medicine on my own. After taking this medicine for 1.5 years, I noticed my hair was thinning and while my migraines had diminished, I knew I could not continue to take this medicine forever (especially because I plan to have children and this medicine is not recommended for pregnant or nursing women). I had heard about acupuncture and decided I didn't have much to lose. Prior to seeing Dr. Li, if I had ever missed a migraine pill (to be taken 2x a day) I would get a terrible migraine. Even WITH the medicine, I would still have at least one migraine per month. Dr. Li is very knowledgeable in her field and has already had me off of my medicine for 2 weeks without a migraine. She is very flexible with scheduling and has made recommendations to help my body detox and I am beyond impressed with the results. If you are in any sort of pain, do yourself a huge favor and make an appointment with Dr. Li. After 3 sessions I began feeling infinitely better. I owe Dr. Li big time!! I'm pretty sure it's been about a year since I visited Dr. Li for my chronic migraines. I just can't believe the change I have experienced. I no longer need any medication for migraines, because I seriously don't remember the last one I had. Prior to seeing her, I had migraines that lasted about 14-18 hours, and wiped me out for at least a couple of days. In the past year, the couple migraines I had lasted about 2 hours and could be resolved with a nap. Just incredible results, she is a miracle worker!! read more
