The interior has been totally refreshed and looks amazing, really modern, trendy and stylish. It opens Sun- Thur 9am - midnight and Fri/Sat 9am - 1am. They serve the usual Wetherspoon menu but is really cheap and really worth eating there as the atmosphere is brilliant as is the service. The large tv screens add to the atmosphere and i imagine that the bar is pretty full on match days! This is a really good pub for those in Minehead, it is really close to the high street and to butlins and will do incredibly well in the main tourist time.

The room we occupied had a window seat to look out into the expanse of gardens below and was truly delightful. The room was really large and spacious, with lots of little trinkets and tea and coffee facilities that were topped up everytime the room was cleaned or turned down. The restaurant was really a delight on the evening meal, as they not only served traditional english dishes but a very mediterranean menu aswell with a large range of fish, pasta and chicken which would satisfy anyone visiting. I would definitely recommend the hotel as it is not at all pricey but you really get an experience at the hotel rather than just a stay.
