Talk about breaking the law...he is parked in the fire zone and right by the special needs ramp.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Mgt. is fully aware heat goes on by law Oct 1 every year. Every year for the past couple years they say a part is broken and turn it on whenever they choose. It was confirmed to me by the township that was nothing broken or missing. They thought the law was Oct. 15. (BS) That said-they turned it on when they were forced to Oct. 21. They impose old rules/laws with NO NOTICE. Like towing cars with NO WARNING! The tow company at night takes you to a dark (pit) below ground located in Glenside. They verbally abuse you and do not give you access to your car to get the info they need because MGT. told them not to. My pocketbook and all the needed items were in the car. For each night it is left in the pit till you can resolve the situation they add an extra $100.00. Only they neglect to tell you that when they are trying to force you to leave your car. I learned this from a friend. There is no concern for human beings welfare.

These are good apartments for students. Many grad students live here who probably attend Salus University. Only 2 minute drive from the school. It's nice and cozy. Has enough space and decent size rooms. Big living room. My friend was living in a two bedroom floor. Has central A/C and heating. Rooms have carpet flooring and personal closet. Bathrooms are small but at least you get your own bathroom per room. Kitchen is nice with enough space for maybe four people. Has a dining room area with tile floors including in the kitchen too. Comes with a stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave, cabinets, sink and dishwasher. They have nice black and grey marble like material design. Must provide your know furniture. Lights that work. Rooms depend but my friend had their own patio which was nice. Shows a view of the parking lot. Interior inside the main lobby is nice. Reminds me like a hotel lobby with a receptionist desk and lobby seating. Has an elevator that reaches nine levels high. The rent for these apartments are a bit pricey but I can see why for the price. Some of the walls and buildings need some works and major renovations like the elevators. The building is old was probably built in the 80's. Many elderly people live here too. It's nice and would recommend this place for prospective students and retired people.

During the recent fire at SPS they kept us updated on all the recommendations for our safety and installed huge air purifiers throughout the building "just in case". They also organize a range of fun get togethers and are always looking for ways to make The Flats a warm and comfortable place to live. Five stars plus!!

Since moving into this property, I have experienced a number of concerns that have required…read morerepeated follow-up to get addressed. The two most recent issues have been particularly concerning. After my refrigerator failed and had to be replaced, maintenance staff placed a visibly dirty replacement refrigerator in my apartment. This was not the first refrigerator-related issue. After the third incident involving my refrigerator and resulting food loss, April, the Property Manager, acted as though reimbursing me for the food I lost was a favor rather than an appropriate response to a recurring maintenance problem. I also reported a concerning stain on my ceiling. Rather than conducting an appropriate investigation into the source of the staining or checking for moisture, maintenance staff told me it could be caused by cat urine from the apartment above seeping through the ceiling. Maintenance staff then told me they could spray the ceiling and make it look as though nothing had ever been there. As of this afternoon, I have been informed that their solution remains to spray the affected area with a concealer/stain blocker and monitor whether the stain returns. No professional assessment of the moisture level or source of the staining has been communicated to me. I have now contacted an outside contractor to assess the area, test the moisture levels, and provide a professional opinion because I want the source of the staining evaluated rather than simply concealed. Equally concerning has been the way my concerns have been handled by April, the Property Manager. When I expressed my frustration regarding these repeated issues, April characterized me as "disrespectful" and told me what would and would not be "tolerated." I experienced this interaction as a microaggression. Labeling my direct communication as "disrespectful," rather than addressing the legitimate concerns I was raising about the management of my home, was both inappropriate and troubling. Residents should be able to firmly advocate for themselves without their tone or demeanor becoming the focus of the conversation. I subsequently documented my concerns in writing, including concerns about that interaction, and multiple emails have gone unanswered. Management has continued to communicate about maintenance while ignoring the substantive concerns raised in those emails. Between the repeated need for follow-up, recurring maintenance failures, receiving a dirty replacement appliance, the handling of reimbursement for lost food, the explanation that a ceiling stain could be cat urine seeping through from another apartment, the continued plan to conceal that stain without first determining its source, unanswered emails, and the way I was spoken to when I challenged these practices, I have lost confidence in this property's management. I would strongly caution anyone considering moving here. Based on my experience, the maintenance staff and April appear incompetent and incapable of providing the responsive, professional property management residents should reasonably expect.

When I report a problem in the apartment to her, it's as if she doesn't hear me. When I call maintenance, they don't show up for a week. I had a gas leak, and we waited five days for it to be fixed. Also, the power went out in the kitchen because the outlets were old, and we lived without electricity for three days. She doesn't even notify maintenance. The elevators weren't working for two weeks. The carpets aren't vacuumed. When a maintenance worker did come on time and did a perfect job, I asked her to have him come fix things the next time something breaks. But she said he wouldn't be able to come anymore. She's making things worse and worse. It's impossible to get to the tennis court on weekends because she put a lock on it. I think the management here needs to be replaced because the building is very nice and the location is great too. But it's such a mess here that it's hard to live here.

I had to leave after one year. Homeless people have been found sleeping in hallways and some renters are vagrants (immigrants) and do not speak English. Fights in the parking lot among teenagers, smell of marijuana, and for me it was terrifying. 2 young guys own it and do absolutely NOTHING. In order to do laundry, one must take their laundry down to the basement which is creepy and many times the machines are inoperable and will not return your money when dysfunctional. Elevators break down :( I recommend that you seek other residences as you will never feel safe! BTW....packages are frequently stolen! Run, Run, Run, better yet.......Pass and go elsewhere!
