We called on Thursday to make reservations for a large group coming on Sunday for a birthday party. We were told we didn't need any and to come on out. We arrived at 11am this morning and no one was there. Another large group was also there waiting who had called last week to confirm they were open. They have some paintball stuff, but the selection is rough and it seems more like an afterthought. The biggest concern I have is the customer service and professionalism of the establishment. Wyldside is built in with a Tattoo parlor (Euro 2) and some days you walk in and get a person hat kinda knows what they are talking about. Other days it takes 20 minutes for someone to ask if you need anything because they are a tattoo artist and want nothing to do with selling paintball gear. It's sad that Rockford has no paintball store and even though this place sells it, they don't do anything to actually prove they want to sell you anything besides a tattoo. read more

The selection may have been basic, but we had a blast. Most of us were first timers and found the staff well trained and fun. We felt safe and had a great time. They strongly discourage swearing and promote a lot of family fun. The fields are small and good for beginners. The games were easy to understand and fun. The safety was well understood and they do not tolerate any fooling around that could be dangerous. Dress in layers, long sleeves and don't be afraid to get dirty. read more

This review is for the paintball range. I visited last weekend on a groupon deal and had a blast. I had never paintballed before, and the staff was friendly and had some very good safety tips. The younger guys might want to realize that new visitors aren't familiar with the grounds when they are giving rules for the games but otherwise it was a lot of fun and a fun atmosphere. read more

Terrible customer service--they refuse to honor prices on their website and are scammers. I have been there a few times and when I tried to go recently I got the run around. Why have groupons that are issued with 1 weekend to go in the season then expire in February when they are closed? Crooks. read more

This is my second time ever playing and it just might be the last. I have never seen a place so unorganized. Place was to be opened at 9am but waited at the gate till 9:30am. Although everything seemed so rushed we didn't start playing till 11am. The owner Robert is a train wreck, take a chill pill dude. This is not a place for children considering the foul language coming out of Roberts mouth. All the staff seemed clueless about everything and uncaring. Also they were understaffed if you ask me. All the rental equipment was soooo dirty, nasty and disgusting. Bring your own if possible. To wrap things up if all places were like this then I don't see them opened for to long. I will never be back. Stay clear of this place, you have been warned. read more

this field is awsome. i have been playing paintball for 10 years and this is by far the best run field i have ever played on. thier refs acually care about the games. the owner will help fix guns. he fixed my sons gun at no cost. the fields have plenty of bunkers and forts. i live in elgin and i would drive to rockford to play. they are very strict on their goggle rules, which i personally like,. this field is most definalty worth the drive. read more
