He was smoking a cigarette that he threw into a patch of grass with the cigarette still being lit that I had to put out . But overall, he seemed cooperative and like we could get this done easily Once we got to our destination, he proceeded to try to let the vehicle down at least 2 to 4 feet off the ground ?!?! (which even I know isn't correct .) They completely totaled my husband's car and then called it junk when it was actually completely fixable and now is completely totaled because of this company, I hear a loud banging and I go outside and the whole frame of the car is on the truck and you can already visibly see everything that went wrong and the driver seems to just not even care what he did. and the driver was incredibly rude and had a disgusting attitude towards my husband, even though it is already visibly his fault the whole situation occurred. And he tore up a patch of concrete on our property and doing what he did. And then is trying to not take accountability for anything that they've caused. And honestly, the driver handling the situation the whole way he did and completely doing the job wrong was the cherry on top for me.. do NOT recommend this company. * AND THE COMPANY IS REFUSING TO HANDOVER THE MONEY FOR THE DAMAGES THEY'VE CAUSED. THEY JUST WANNA FIX ONLY THE BARE MINIMUM OF THE DAMAGE THEY COST ON THE VEHICLE INSTEAD OF GIVING US THE MONEY FOR THE DAMAGE THEY'VE CAUSED WHEN THEY KNOW THEY JUST TOTALED OUR VEHICLE.!) DO NOT USE A COMPANY THAT'S GOING TO DO THIS TO ANYONE-a business owner and unfortunately customer of terry.

Lol Her complaint was being charged for an estimate (she wouldn't pay) she admits seeing the sign that says "they charge $25 for estimates". People get estimates for all kinds of reasons (some with no intention on having the work done). It takes time to 'look up' vehicles, and price damages. The other guy Bryant's complaint was he called 2 weeks earlier and because they weren't WAITING with 'bated breath' for his arrival 'HE'S piszed! People are NUTS. Yelp apparently doesn't care who reviews or why! These are top quality guys. (I don't work there, but am applying soon) maybe I get it, maybe not, but either way they should be 5 stars according to all the REAL reviews from the rest of their customers!

1 Star…read more Unfortunately, after using Highway 280 Paint & Body three different times, this will be my last. Our 2022 GMC Yukon was damaged by a deer on June 9. We brought it to Highway 280 Paint & Body in mid-June, and they inspected the vehicle and determined that the damaged door would need to be replaced. After filing the claim with Progressive, we had a three-way phone call with our insurance adjuster and the manager at Highway 280 Paint & Body. During that call, we specifically scheduled a date to drop the Yukon off for repairs. The appointment was made roughly two weeks in advance, giving the shop time to prepare for the vehicle and the repair. We dropped the Yukon off on July 20 as scheduled. When we arrived, the manager acted as though he wasn't expecting the vehicle and said he didn't have the insurance estimate. I pulled it up and sent it to him while standing there. The Yukon then sat at the shop for more than a month. During that time, we received different explanations about what they were waiting on--parts, emblems, insurance approval, and eventually that the door needed to be replaced, even though they were the ones who told us in June that the door needed replacing in the first place. After more than a month, we learned that the vehicle had essentially sat there and wasn't actually being worked on until last week. Even then, the repair was still not completed. My biggest issue isn't simply that the repair took longer than expected. Things happen, parts get delayed, and insurance companies can slow down repairs. My issue is the lack of communication, organization, accountability, and urgency throughout this entire process. We scheduled this repair in advance. They knew what vehicle was coming, knew what the damage was, and knew a door replacement was needed. Meanwhile, our insurance rental coverage was running out while our vehicle sat at their shop. I finally asked them to put our Yukon back together so we could pick it up and take it somewhere else. After being a repeat customer, I hate that this is the experience that caused me to leave a one-star review. But based on the way this repair was handled, I cannot recommend Highway 280 Paint & Body. The entire operation felt extremely disorganized, and the customer service and communication were nowhere near what I would expect from a professional body shop. If you're considering having work done here, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about when your vehicle will actually be worked on--not simply when they can accept it and let it sit on their property.

And since our lives are sheer chaos, the thought of not having to go and wait or even drive to a tire place REALLY appealed to me. And honestly, it wasn't that much more expensive than going to one of those places. Don't get me wrong, I love my mechanic. But he is REALLY far away and all we needed was new tires. So when I heard Carl would pick up tires, come to my house and the most I had to do was hand over my credit card... sign me up!! I called him and he said he had a little later appointment, but he could make it work. We had a miscommunication about whether I had the tires or not and he came.
