I don't eat meat so it's hard to find a good Chinese place with vegetarian dishes. This place has several dishes to include rice, noodles and tofu dishes. I ordered the tofu and the noodles and they were both fantastic. The tofu came with fresh vegetables and the noodles were in a suave that was not too salty. I also had the spring rolls which taste homemade and were perfectly crispy. I appreciate that they don't make anything until you order and also don't mind waiting for it. But if time is something don't have call ahead because it takes a little while. The restaurant itself has a weird vibe. I mean it's fine but it just feels funny when your inside. If you plan on dining in, you have to order at the counter, they don't serve you. Also it's kind odd but the my have a in and out door and they want you to use both appropriately. read more

At first this place was good, but then it went downhill fast. I had ordered a dish with chicken and after I got home and bit into it, it wasn't fully cooked. I called the place to see if I could bring it back. When I did, the lady took it from me went to the back (which you can see directly from the register) looked at it with the cook and said "that's not raw". Everybody in my family can vouch that it was not cooked fully. She came back and proceeded to say it was fine... yeah no it wasn't. Have gone there a couple of times and liked the food. The other day I tried to call in an order and was put on ignore for 20 minutes. In fact I drove down to the restaurant with my phone still on hold. When I walked in the young lady picked up the phone and said sorry but they had been busy. I asked to speak to the manager and a young man came to the counter. He was very rude and simply walked away from me and went back to doing something in the kitchen. It was a promising addition to our community but unfortunately until they do something about their poorly trained staff I, nor my friends, will not be back. read more

I came in for Chinese food and I left still wanting Chinese food. I have get them three chances to fulfill my craving. But every time it's just bland Chinese food. I even have ordered Chinese dish that they should be proud of making, the crispy noodle. And instead I got this bland broth that soften the noodles instead of a nice sauce to complement them. Every dish lack the usual Chinese seasoning. Just remember that Chinese people are proud of their cuisine because is supposed to be so good that you want to eat more. I wanted to place an order via Uber Eats and called restaurant to get information from them on one particular item. The manager, Judy, talked over me repeatedly and lacked basic customer service skills. She said items are different if you don't order directly with us. Question was can the sweet and sour chicken be ordered with fried rice vs steamed rice. She proceeds to tell me if you order from Subway items are different than if you go pick them up. I said, as the manager you should be encouraging me to order and accommodate what I need and advise of an upcharge. When asked for name of owner, I was told he is in China as she chuckled. read more

I'm fairly picky about my Chinese food and this place is my favorite in San Antonio. Excellent mid-priced Chinese to go or eat in at one of the booths. We appreciate the vegetarian options, including veggie spring rolls and General Tso's Tofu. The cooks are willing to go off menu too and make things like Cashew Chicken with tofu instead of meat, or to add tofu to dishes such as the Vegetable Lo Mein. The soups are not vegetarian (meat stock for the base as well as pieces of chicken in the Hot and Sour Soup) but are a decent serving size. Ask for the homemade hot mustard for a real kick on your spring roll. read more

This place is great for chinese take out. I order from them all the time. The food is cooked to order and is always ready when I get there to pick it up. No complaints whatsoever! Ive never had a bad meal there. One time they gave me something that I didnt order. I called them back, they apologized sincerely and told me to keep what I had and they would make what I had ordered no charge. Now thats customer service! The staff is always very polite the front of house staff are all.constantly smiling. That alone is a.positive selling point for me. read more

Check your to-go order before your leave. I'm giving them 2 out of 5 stars since they only got 2 of my 5 separate to-go orders correct. Two of the three incorrect orders I had to drive back up there to retrieve missing food I was charged for. The remaining mess up was a wrong entree which I went ahead and ate because I didn't feel like driving back up there. Food is good and the staff is very nice. I placed an order for 6 items online. I arrived 5 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. When I arrived the cashier said they didn't see my order, but that they would have it ready in just 7 minutes. I was surprised that they could have my order ready that quick, which led me to believe my food was frozen and just reheated. The hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were good. I also ordered General Tso's chicken and sesame chicken which both tasted exactly the same, except the sesame chicken had sesame seeds on them. The chicken was mostly breading, with hardly any meat. I also ordered the pepper chicken, which was mostly peppers and onions and little beef. The beef was not good. It didn't taste like real meat. It was soft and chewy. The chicken lo mein was decent. Overall, the food is just ok. I don't know that I'd return here again. The cashier was friendly though and the place was very clean. read more

Was one of my favorite resturant but after today will not be returning. The food is typically okay but the service is absolutely terrible. This is third time they have forgotten a portion of my order. I place an order online and we after checking my food before leaving notice something was missing. When I asked the lady about it she told me I didn't order it . I asked for a printout of what I ordered and was told she could not print it out. Then proceeded to tell me they can make it but I would need to pay. I told her i already did and she should have some type of way to retrieve it.
