Still on the hunt for good Chinese food in Denver....this place isn't bad. Stopped in for take out (you can only order by phone). Family owned and staff is friendly. Got Moo Goo Gai Pan and Orange Chicken. The Moo Goo had good flavor and tasted fresh. The Orange Chicken also - but not sure huge chunks of orange peel were necessary in the sauce- it already had enough citrus. The peel was borderline offensive. The fried rice side fell flat. It was basically brown rice with no flavor. Missing were the usual chunks of egg, diced meat, and tiny vegetables more commonly found. Service was fast. Food was hot. Restaurant dining/waiting area could have used a vacuum and tidying. There were food and crumbs on the floor. And a few sweet n low packets caught in the blinds on the dirty windows visible from outside. But overall the place seemed cleaner than some other places in town. Would try it again.... read more

I love this place, it's the perfect hidden gem of Littleton, the lunch special is very affordable and large portions, I went here very hungry and left very full and I still have enough for lunch tomorrow :) I smile with every bite of this chicken because it just tastes so good, perfectly crispy. We've ordered from Wu's for over a dozen years, because it's normally consistent, good food. Their pork fried dumplings are a particular favorite. Tonight, we ordered out (for delivery), and I ordered Mango Chicken, which I've eaten from Wu's before. The sauce had so much sugar in it that the dish was inedible. And of course, the delivery driver was long gone. I don't get how this can happen. The dish wasn't just a little sweet, it was nauseatingly sweet. Not only did I waste the cost of the entree and the time waiting for delivery, but ended up having to scrounge for leftovers in our refrigerator. Totally unacceptable, Wu's. read more

Wow. Quality has changed. I'm so so sad to review this review but: what happened?!? Soups: full of BIG chunks of pork fat. Portions smaller than before. I literally live right behind them & stopped going bc they didn't have online ordering (yeah, I know). I cannot grasp how low the quality went. The lady that's always been there is so much angrier (whoever answers the phone- male, Asian, poss her husband or son?)- you were a delight. I'll just wait until Asian Spice opens back up. I had a 5/5 experience at Wu's Garden. The service was super quick and the food was good. The portion sizes are massive even though it says serves one. Each entree serves more like two people. We got crab ragoons and spring rolls as appetizers and both were freshly made and tasty. We also got wonton and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup was so flavorful. The wonton soup was okay, it only came with one wonton and the flavor was a bit bland. We got Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein for our entrees. They came with a side of egg fried rice, but it pretty much tasted like white rice (not much extra flavor). The chicken had a slight slimy texture to it, but this is very typical in these types of Chinese places. The dining area was a little dark, but I didn't really mind. Our server was very friendly. This is your typical "hole in the wall" kind of place. One of those places that doesn't stand out and scream, look at me. This one of those places I hope doesn't get to big and lose the amazing quality of food and great prices because they got so popular. The short story most will want to hear is the serving sizes are huge, the food is amazing, the service is quick, delivery in a 4 mile radius is quick and reliable. The restaurant is what you might expect to encounter at a mom and pop restaurant. It's themed according to the style of food they serve. My favorite is the W17 and fried rice. The coat is $31 and I have enough food for three very filling meals. The egg drop soup is very yummy but I'm not a fan of the tofu so I eat around it. The chicken wings are good. There is a bad with three seats but it's not really a place you would go and hang out with friends and drink and socialize. Service is quick but don't expect a bubbly server. She is all business and will take great care of you but providing a bubbly, friendly, joking, experience doesn't happen. I am a fan of interaction from servers to help make the experience more pleasant but when I go to Wu's, I'm there to eat and enjoy a nice quiet dining experience. I was trying to be polite when we were at the restaurant and let the rock go by not bringing it up with the server, but after heating up the leftovers and biting into metal, I don't think I'll ever return. Well, normally there is no problem with the food or service, but when I called today to place a delivery order, they kept saying there was a problem with my address. I asked what kind of problem and he said we'll try again, what do you want. He couldn't give me a reason for said "problem" so I told him to just forget it,and I'll call somewhere else. Ordered food to go Mongolian beef and Chicken Lo mein and asked for no onions, when I came home and opened the top of both meals, both dishes were full of onions with hardly any chicken or beef in each dish. Called to complain about it, live 30 minutes away and unable to take it back same day. I was informed next time I place an order, I can get one or the other dish free but not both? Very disappointed, could not eat either dish because it was smothered in onions and the restaurant will not stand by their mistake. read more

I've ordered delivery from Wu's a few times, and I'm never disappointed; the food always arrives fast and hot. They have some of the best fried dumplings I've ever had, stuffed to bursting and super juicy! And their chicken and vegetables is my go to, the meal is great leftovers as well. They are definitely an American-Chinese restaurant, if you're looking for authentic Chinese you'll have to head into Denver; but Wu's is great for what it is. My family and I order from them at least once a month, and have never had an issue. I've only eaten at the restaurant itself once or twice, and it's kind of sketchy/grungy much like the original Tamale Kitchen; but the food is worth it at both places, so I don't worry about it. read more

I do agree that it is the best place for Chinese takeout in the southern Jeffco area. Having said that, it isn't saying much. The premade sauces were all salty, the Moo Shu pancakes were Mexican Flour Tortillas, and the vegetables were mostly standard American veggies, not Asian. I don't recommend eating at the restaurant because it is not very neat. There's boxes and a vacuum in the corner of the dining area. If I'm desperate for American-Chinese food and too lazy to drive to Federal Blvd., I'll be back. read more

When we called and asked for a refund we offered to come show them a picture, their response was somewhere along the lines of "no we trust you, the way we cook our food sometimes that just happens." Ordered Delivery on Christmas and it was exactly what we wanted. Mushu pork with extra pancakes was a big hit with everyone, even first timers. The pork was cut well and tender. Sweet and sour pork went fast, some of the best we ever had. Crab cheese wontons were delicious (sweet and creamy) and the egg rolls are on the bigger side. In an effort to support local business, wife and decided to try this place as its right down the street. Ordered Sweet & Sour chicken, Kung Pao chicken and wontons. Somehow that amounted to $45?? Would have been fine with the price if the food was worth it but it was not the case. The meat was very very fatty, the S&S sauce was more like BBQ and the wontons were soggy. I pass this place nearly everyday as I drive home from the light rail station. I was craving nothing other than Chinese food, so I decided to give this place a try. As a vegan, we are somewhat limited in our choices (but we never go hungry, trust me) so talked with the owner at length. He was very accommodating and even offered to make something that wasn't on the menu (General Tsao Tofu). But I opted for the sesame tofu with vegetables. Man oh man, I was NOT disappointed! There were about half-a-dozen different vegetables (baby corn, cauliflower, zucchini, carrot, celery, and I can't remember the others) and there was a ton of tofu, nicely marinated in their not-too-sweet sesame sauce. (Too many restaurants make the sauce so sweet that it's hardly edible.) And the portion size? It practically was overflowing the takeout box. All of that with a large container of rice. All for $9. I used to have a go-to Chinese restaurant that I ate at practically every week for years and years. Then the owner started talking about the animals he slaughtered on his hunting expeditions and loved when his customers shared their experiences. He fully knew I was vegan.
