Jade! Y'all! He's the best!!! He was easy to talk to and share ideas with. And what's not to love about a great tattoo?!!
My experience here was the worst I have experienced at any tattoo shop. The tattoo artist who has been tattooing here for years (I will not name now, I may add their name later) rushed through one of my tattoos in the center of my chest. They messed up how it was supposed to look and it was supposed to be a dagger with a straight blade. The blade was horribly crooked. The linework was very wobbly. In the center of my body. The same night I went home I immediately was researching laser removal and potential cover-ups. Many artists told me it is unfixable. It left me incredibly self-conscious - having a horrible tattoo in the center of my body. I understood the tattoo artist's wife just had a child and I was one of his first tattoos back from his maternity leave. I really understand how important it is to the artist to see their newborn. But it really upsets me when I pay good money (I tipped 50 percent - really!) to have a centerpiece rushed through. What topped it off was when I mentioned it politely to the artist. He told me word for word, "It is fine, you're overthinking it". This made me so upset. I knew it was horribly messed up. When I got home, I posted it to Reddit to ask for people's opinions on if it was a bad tattoo or not. The post hit the front page with over 100 comments agreeing it needed to be fixed because it looked bad. I am SO SO thankful I was able to get the tattoo covered up very soon afterward. Many people on the Reddit post said it was unfixable, but I had a very talented artist (at a different shop) save the day and fix it. I was so happy. This was over a year ago. The artist still works here. I was very hesitant to post a review because I don't ever want to talk negatively about an artist. But I am sorry, this was absolutely unacceptable. Be careful with which artist you select to tattoo you at Wunderland Tattooing.
Scheduled my tattoo at Wunderland, a few weeks prior to when I wanted to get it and the process was very smooth. I had Zach G. do my tattoo and he was great, super accommodating, quick and efficient with the whole process. The design came out exactly like I wanted, him and one of the workers up front also was super helpful in squeezing my friend in to get her tattoo done since there were some last minute call outs from one of the artists. In terms of ambience and overall vibe, Wunderland is located in the heart of downtown Gainesville. Perfect location with a chill and cool vibe inside the establishment. Each artist's station is also cool and I love how they only focus on tattoos here, really shows the art and effort that these people do. Highly highly recommend to come here for your tattoo, great vibes and great people!
Well I got my second tattoo with Mark. It exceeded all my expectations. A bee & flowers on my left arm to balance the dragonfly & moons on the right. I love them both. Here is a pic of them together. Thanks Mark you did a beautiful job. I drive from Ocala to Gainesville just for Mark to do my tattoo.
On March 9th I decided that I wanted to get my first tattoo I went around to about 4 other shops before Wunderland. And not many of them were as welcoming or as helpful as this one. As soon as I walked up Zach greeted me right away. We started talking about the process and placement. Once I decided on what I want and where I wanted it I got tattooed an hour later. During the process I got a little light headed. But Zach knew exactly what to do to keep me from blacking out. Once I was feeling better this session was complete. I can't wait to come back to finish up this piece. 10 out of 10 recommended Wunderland Tattooing.
I had a wonderful experience at Wunderland. I have been to many tattoo places in town... I have 8 tattoos and have gotten them at 5 different places. However, this might have been my favorite. The staff was super friendly and chill. They gave me an accurate wait time, price estimate, and kept me company while I waited. I have had some negative experiences with reception and intake at tattoo parlors, but they were awesome! They also had free coffee and stickers, which were super cute! The tattoo artist was Stevie, he was visiting from Nashville. He was super chill and funny and did amazing work. He checked in at every step to make sure that I was on board and loving my artwork. He was also really friendly and talked with me the whole time, which I appreciated. I absolutely love my tattoo and when choosing where to go for my next one, this will be my first choice.
Best appointment you will have made in a long time! Eric has been my artist for 4 years now, at No Hard Feelings in Coral Springs, FL. I just returned from an appointment with him at his new Wunderland shop so we could finish up an ocean/beach scene on my back. Yes, I traveled 4.5 hours to see him! Eric's work speaks for itself. He's fantastic at taking your vision and making it reality! Looking at all of the work he's done for me, I've spent 61 hours with him to create exactly what I wanted from my back piece that wraps around my ribs to my stomach, to my sun sign and stars on my foot, to a cover up on my upper back, to my Seahawks tat on my calf. When I've been unsure about the right direction, Eric's been great in advising what he thinks could/would work the best with what I had in mind. If you're just thinking about your first tat, or maybe you're already a tattooed guy/gal, I believe you'll feel at ease with his demeanor, the clean facilities at his new shop, and his artistic and creative ability to help put what's in your mind... onto your body. Give him a call!

I go to Eric for all my tattoo ideas, and he comes back with literal art on my body. When I was ready to do my kneecap, he made a painful experience more calming and was accommodating and he put on a Netflix comedy to help combat the pain lol. Outside of being insanely talented, he's really smart and knowledgeable about so many things, so if you're in for a long sesh the time goes faster when you're having a good conversation. Wunderland shop location is awesome since it's right next to a restaurant, you can get tacos afterwards. Win-win!!! read more

The reviews are true, buckle in kids it's story time. So my best friend passed away a few years ago and I wanted to get a tattoo to honor her, I had searched through hundreds of not thousands of designs, looked at different artists work but just couldn't find what I wanted (let me add, I am in no way shape or form artistic). I recently moved to the area and decided that I was gonna get the tattoo for my birthday. After some research I decided that Eric Made the appointment with Eric almost a month in advance.... So we met for consultation and it was really brief, I gave an idea of what I wanted and was in and out. A month is a long time, I mean how could someone who I've spent 5 minutes with capture the essence of this friendship and really honor my friend and I really knew in my head what I wanted but I just couldn't envision it. So the morning of my appointment I CANCELLED! They were super nice about it and said hey just come in and see what I have in mind and if you don't like it or don't feel it's right then no commitment it's fine. So I went and I now have the most beautiful tattoo. It is perfect, I could not be happier. Eric is very talented. This is better than anything I could have dreamed up. Thank you Eric!! read more
