I went in for heartburn issues and she seemed worried and concerned that I was sick -- something that most doctors don't do. Ever since then, I've been going to this office. After some of my own research, I then called my previous doctor from Denver and asked him what he thought. He called back the next day and told me he got nothing by raves about her. I called Dr Pearson and the rest is history! I would not go to anyone else ever! She is the most caring, thorough, friendly person. Not only does she listen to ME, but she goes a step further to make sure she understands what I am trying to tell her. Dr Pearson never rushes, but takes her time to be completely sure that "I" understand what she is saying to me. Definitely a collaborative atmosphere! They were good when I first joined years ago but in the past 3 years they have steadily declined. 1. Dr's / PA have quit. This is what made the practice great in the beginning. They cared and would listen and actually knew who you were and followed up. Now, you're constantly having to chase them for renewals, rx, approvals, diagnosis, next steps because they don't know you. RX aren't followed up upon or takes forever to get renewal, takes weeks to get an appt, months for routine appt, every year they tell me I don't need a physical exam when I use to have one at least every year and the pap every other year (it just feels like they just don't want to do it), dropped the ball on approving Rx, It could be that they are victim of their own success. Too many patients, even though they no longer take new patients. I don't ever see a Dr or a RN any more, it's always a PA. 2. Their front desk check in people are annoying. I feel like it's not a genuine atmosphere 3. Their Phlebotomist is rough when they take your blood and so grumpy when she does it 4. there is ALWAY ALWAYS ALWAYS an hour wait even if you get there 5-10mins early and checked in. Only way to avoid this is if you are the first appts of the day. 5.They tend to fob you off to specialists because it is "beyond their scope" but then don't recommend any specialists. I really hate to have to look for a new dr practice but it looks like i may have to. I wish I didnt have to.

I have been going to Comprehensive Internal Medicine for 14 years so I have mixed feelings about…read moremaking this post. My physician care through Dr Carol Hector has always been very good. However, a recent issue with the support staff at CIM makes me write this post. I found that I had run out of an important prescription ahead of a trip this week and called the office to get an emergency prescription until my mail order shipment arrived. I was sent to the medication voicemail (where I left a voicemail that morning). Over the past (2) days, I have not heard from either the support staff or the pharmacy about the status of my emergency prescription. I then called the physician on call number after hours since I had not heard from anyone and the attendant simply told me that she could not put a call through to the doctor on call because they don't do pharmacy calls after hours (even though this was a very important prescription for my blood pressure and I needed attention right away). When I wasn't connected, I had to go to a local walk-in clinic in order for them to help me with my prescription (which they did within 15 minutes). Regardless of the level of care that I receive from the physician, if the support staff is not able to do what they need to, I can't rely on CIM for my medical needs.

He doesn't have NP or nurse or anyone else answer his messages. He does. After hours, weekends. He is dedicated. He is straight to the point in a kind & compassionate way. He a problem solver.
