I had an appointment scheduled for several weeks and, of course, on the morning of my appointment my baby is sick. So, I call 3 hours before my appointment and leave a message. No call back. Call again 2 hours later. No call back. Call again 2 hours later and am told it's Dr. Small's policy to charge $100 to reschedule. Nice way to treat a long time patient. I recommend him as a doctor, but keep your fingers crossed that you never need to reschedule at the last minute.

Front desk, nurses, all very nasty and unkind. Once you get thru their bs and talk to Dr Small it's awesome, but by that point in time I personally am in such a defensive and agitated mood that my time with Dr Small is affected negatively. They should clean house and start over. These workers are toxic.

I am thinking about switching back and making that drive when I need to see someone

Dr. Li rushed through the examination without taking the requisite time. My wife felt like she had not received an adequate examination. Today she called the doctor to ask her a question regarding the antibiotics she had prescribed. Dr. Li was rude. I got on the phone and asked Dr. Li a question. She abruptly said she will have to come into the office and then hung up the phone while I was asking another question. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We will never return there.

My wife is also a patient of Dr. Mininberg's for many years. She thinks the world of her. I highly recommend

I'm healthy, and I've got my specialty doctors, but I feel weird putting my OB/GYN as my primary doctor when filling out forms... So I started looking and found this Piedmont Physicians group in my neighborhood. I picked Dr. Mininberg based purely from her picture and her bio, but it worked out well. Dr. Mininberg was very personable, with a bedside manner that immediately drew me in. She answered my questions and addressed my concerns without just dismissing even though they were probably nothing (and thankfully turned out to be so). She spent plenty of time talking with me, making sure that I understood what could be going on. When I got the results via email, they included a personal note to say that everything looked fine, but if I still felt off that she'd be happy to see me again.

The MD VIP membership nearly doubled with no notice from $2,400 a year to over $4,000...for, as I said, nothing more than to be a part of the club. His unpleasant front desk staff let me know he was the only one in the practice doubling his rates and that many of his patients were as upset with this. So on principle alone, we are both starting out the new year in search of new doctors. Good doctor, very disappointing that he is weeding out patients based on financial status. My best friend recommended her doctor, and that was good enough for me. I packed up my entire history with my previous doctor and set my course for a new one, hoping to get a little better treatment for that copay I was constantly shelling out just to get a refill on my asthma inhaler! Dr. McDaniel was everything I had hoped for- understanding, ready to figure out what was wrong with you, pacifys your fears, and he wasn't trying to stick you for all the money you had! My new doctor said he would never make me come in just to get a refill on a prescription for something I needed such as my inhaler. I just call his office, ask them to shoot a new refill to my local CVS, and bam! It's all done- and I didn't have to drive clear across town just to get a stinking piece of paper (and pay a copay for just being there!) When I went to Dr. McDaniel I asked him to do a full blood workup to make sure that I was healthy- he even did special tests because of my veganism to make sure I was getting everything I need. My old doctor looked at me like I was nuts for requesting that! I got a clean bill of health and I was finally at ease knowing that I am in perfect health and not lacking anything. He is easy to get appointments with and they will work you in when you have a minor emergency. I love my new doctor and I am so glad I finally got off my butt and got a new one!
