Wrights Electrical line service did an excellent job behind our properties. The stayed right with a huge crew come all down and cleaned them all the way back and they got everything the yard. Totally inept! Waited through six stoplights because they don't know how to direct traffic at the stoplight today at 91st and ditch Road. Traffic backed up after I got there all the way to 86th St. because they refuse to let anybody go down that side nobody's paying attention to what's going on. Horrible place. They were contracted through the town to clear trees around the power lines. They didn't even let us know that they were here. I found out when my dogs started barking at them because they had jumped our fence to get into our yard! I thought they were lucky that my other dog wasn't outside because she would have for sure bit them! I talked to them and I expressed that they needed to close the gate when they were done and went to work. After my wife got home she let the dogs in the back yard only to for them to run away because the jack asses that were here didn't close the gate like they were supposed too!!! Never used them and definitely won't be using them if thats their standard of professionalism. You guys suck! read more

Extremely disappointed with Wright Tree Services, saw unnecessary destruction and gross misconduct with no consideration for our nature. Massive desecration of young tree branches with green leaves for a bigot...what goes around comes around, the trees you cut will negatively effect health of someone in your family maybe even you, "Sir vice" - There's no reason to chop down or trim trees, why should trees move if youre the one given brains, arms and legs. This is, by far, THE WORST, tree trimming service that has come into our property in 25 years. We didn't choose them; they were apparently awarded a contract to cut tree limbs near power lines. Two weeks ago we had a decent conversation with one of their workers; today, they ended up demolishing the entire sides of our beautiful two mature hemlocks. When I approached them to state that no other tree company in all the time I've lived at this address has haphazardly cut so many branches --- more than 30 feet away from 'said' power lines. One of them said, "next time buy a house without trees." I said they should learn to treat people with more dignity and professionalism. They said, "we don't care." I'd give them a zero. If you have an opportunity to stop this service from being awarded any contracts for power line tree trimming in your area - DO IT. If considering hiring them for any private tree trimming service, DON'T. read more

The neighbor on either side of my mother decided they wanted a service in the backyard. my mother did not approve of such service. they knocked on her door, said "hey, we're cutting stuff down in the backyard" and she said "just don't cut my good evergreens down" and then they decided to drag everything through her yard, and put the wood chipper in her driveway, WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION, when there's a huge city yard directly behind her property that they could be wood chipping in. the project manager was extremely rude and "refused" our service, like we even hired you to begin with! clearly you're a great company, which is why you already had terrible reviews before this one. read more

Had some peeping toms from Wrights Tree Service today (9/26/24). There were several of them out in my front yard, one was pounding on the door. As I am getting ready for work I don't answer the door. After a couple minutes one steps to my side window and we make eye contact. After I tried leaving my house they came up to my car (mind you they are all males and there are at least 6 of them approaching me) after I tell them to get away they still stand there was I am trying to back out my driveway. Were recently contracted by AES to cut tree branches around power lines, when doing so seemed to have no care about trying to avoid the power lines at all. Even pulling them down directly into them at points which left our power going out multiple times over the day as they did this. read more

They left the gate open on my property letting my dog out. After I specifically warned them to close it. The first day they closed the front but left the back open (which I saw before she ran) but then they were apparently here this morning and left both gates wide open. No one let me know they were here or were going into my yard. read more

Wright Tree Service was contracted by AES to remove tree branches near the lines. Their employee just chopped away cutting through my cable/internet lines. They were clearly visible but he showed little regard in ensuring they were not damaged. I watched with my own eyes and knew immediately what happened when my internet went down while working. I have tried to resolve this with this company and AES and have received nothing more than sorry but that is your problem. While filling this out and reading other reviews, I see this is a pattern with them and my only option may be through the courts. read more

Ruined my property!! Tore up fence and drug branches and made my yard a mud pit with no grass left

Absolutely awful. They were sent to trim tree around power lines and absolutely butchered our back yard. They might as well have fully cut down 100 year old trees. They left branches hanging and literally cut every branch off a healthy tree and then left the base for us to remove! We talked to the manager who said they would work with us and when the crew came they did the same thing they did to the rest of our area, hack and slash. These are not professionals, they are just some guys with chainsaws. Trust me, YOU COULD DO A BETTER JOB. Their hack job has 100% lowered our property value. Additionally half these mature trees will probably blow down in the next big storm since they are now top heavy. The manager then said don't worry it will fill back in. I have never seen a tree with no limbs grow back. read more

terrible compa HUGE backup on a road they had 1 lane shut down on, they were not even doing anything on half of the road, very busy road, then the light stopped working and we got caught in the middle of lntersection, they put a a stop light right after a intersection and since the light wasn't working we were caught in the intersection with everyone going around us, company can't do quality work read more

Absolutely awful. They destroyed 100 year old trees and and private property. Dropped huge limbs on 2 boats and the dock, creating a giant hole in the dock and damaging the boats. They broke my car window and an old town canoe. They trampled all over flowerbeds and the yard. Left trash from lunch, cigarette butts, and tons of debris for me to pick up. The workers are rude, whistling and making sexual gestures to women around here, including a teenager. AES and Wright are irresponsible hacks that should not be allowed to do business. read more

I`ve watched as Wright`s Tree Service employees, as they`ve been apparently trimming trees near power lines for AES, (formerly IPL), have trespassed and otherwise absolutely overrun private property. They`ve eaten lunch on peoples private property, in the shade of their trees, and very nearly up on their front porch. I`ve been amazed at watching how readily they trespass and help themselves to private property. This needs to be STOPPED, and stopped NOW! read more
