We started before their remodel and it was already nice. I like the preschool room that they can use in the busier evenings and the Ninja Zone for the ninja classes is super fun too. For my son, the memory for what to do next in the circuits and the (minimal) waiting for his turn have been key in school preparation. I also like the attitude when my son tries something hard, they praise the effort which is great for a growth mindset. We've done open gyms at different gymnastics places around town and I think the DeVeau's facility is the best. The instructors really seem to care about the kids and past instructors always say hi to my son and remember him even after not being in that instructor's class for a time. Obviously, we've not had all the instructors, but the ones we've had have been great. Also, the front desk is always super helpful and nice when I call or have questions.

We are very pleased! NOTE: See the website for the class schedule and cost.

There doesn't seem to be a majorly competitive/pressure-filled vibe here at all. There are kids there who have never taken a class, and some you can tell who have been doing gymnastics since they started walking, but everyone is given the same amount of time and attention. When a child masters a new skill, they get to ring a bell and everyone there claps for them---it's really cute and a great way to build self esteem in these kiddos. Classes are fairly inexpensive, as well.

Didn't we all dream of being Cirque du Soleil performers as kids? Just me? Anyway!…read more Cirque Indy offers classes in silks/slings and Lyra and trapeze. I participated in Sling 1, the entry level course that goes over the basics. They don't allow photos in the studio except for the end of class, so I'll describe the space as best as I can remember. There's a front room with silks, Lyra, and trapeze set up over a spring-loaded floor. They have rainbow string lights around the support beams on the ceiling where the apparatuses are mounted. Pride and BLM flags on the wall! The back room is smaller and will switch between silks and slings (silks that are a loop at the bottom instead of a knot). There's a setup for 9 of those in the back room, which also has a mirror. We started with a full body warm up in the front room and then the aerial warmup was on the slings. Instructor Emily is very good at coaching all the movements from warm up through finish in this class. Sling 1 starts with the basics of aerial movement with a lot of standing movements and some basic inversions. We learned a little combo at the end to try out, and even if you're somewhat athletic, you'll still be in for a challenge! On this review are some photos of me doing some inversions. It's actually quite secure on the sling!

They make it look so easy and our instructor Nicki did too. She was super nice and patient with us. It took a second(for me) to feel comfortable enough to try some of the moves but then I was ready to try everything lol. Its also a nice little workout. There was mild perspiration during the class and a couple of days later some minor aches from the forgotten muscles. Parking can be a lil tricky but there is a lot a little ways down from the studio if you can't find anything along the side of the building. This would be so much fun with a group of friends. It would've maybe been less intimidating to be in a group of people all at the same level but even the more experienced people in our class were helpful and supportive. Will definitely love to try it again.

The first time I called, I spoke to the owner. She was very informative and helpful, and I was able to get my daughter enrolled quickly. From day one, I have had nothing but good experiences with Goddard. My child continues her strong development, and is flourishing. I consider it a very strong endorsement when she can't wait to go in the morning, and doesn't want to leave in the evening. The few times I am able to pick her up early, she is quite upset and doesn't want to go home. I especially like how the days are structured around fun activities that keep the children involved and excited to learn. My daughter has been learning sign language, Spanish, and geography among other things. I can tell she is genuinely interested and excited to learn. Whenever we have had concerns or issues come up, the owner and director have been great at communicating with us in a timely manner. I cannot express the importance of peace of mind that I experience when I drop her off each day, that says it all!

I signed my daughter up for a trial class back in April and never was told to try to sign up for…read moreanother trial class again in the summer because the spring course was already halfway through. So I called to schedule the trial for this past Monday (20$). We got to the class about 10 minutes early as the employee on the phone stated that they would give me a tour. We got there and the girl at the front desk seemed clueless and really wasn't helpful at answering any questions. Then, two teachers came out at the same time for two different classes, which made it very confusing for the amount of adults and children that were in the waiting area. As we did not get a tour, I was unaware that there was no seating area for the parents to watch their children as my child is just about to turn three and was in the 3 to 4 year-old moving class. So, they all lined up at the entry door and started marching towards the classroom. At that point I realize that parents were not allowed and children began yelling and crying, and my daughter got very nervous. So I then followed them to the room where they closed the door and there was kids left crying on the floor and teachers, grabbing children to carry them back into the room. Me and another mom were not happy about this experience as it was not presented to us before we signed our children up for this class. They need to better prepare the parents that this class the children have to go in alone for 45 minutes without seeing their parents. I then proceeded to go down the hallway to take a peek through the blackout glass to see how my daughter was doing and got told by one of the ladies working there that I needed to leave because the children can see me. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to leave when my daughter is nervous and there are girl crying on the floor for their moms. Plus, she was not prepared that she would be without me for this class. So, 45 min later, the children walked out and we were not told anything about the class. My daughter came out and started crying. How do you expect a three year-old to tell you whether or not they enjoy the class and what they did? So, my husband went up to the front desk and asked questions as to if the teacher had any feedback or what the next steps were and again the front desk was clueless and had nothing to. I feel as though this experience was very unwelcoming and unprofessional, and I will not be going back nor do I recommend children ages 3 to 5 to come here.

Abuse/ lack of compassion…read more My daughter attended swim class at Big Blue Swim school in Noblesville. We have had no prior problems. A new young instructor named Jayden put goggles on my 6 year old face so tight it left an indent and the blood vessels in her eyes nearly popped. Her father was their with her he seen her struggling through out the lesson. And mentioned standing up multiple times to see what was wrong. He seen her raise her hand to try and get the attention of another instructor and they ignored her and were talking and laughing with eachother. He said the instructor just looked at my daughter while she was in pain waving his hands along to tell her to continue to swim. This is not acceptable and borderline child abuse. Her father was upset. Rightfully so and was cursing and did identy the swim instructor as being black. He did not use racial slurs or anything other then to identify who put the goggles on her. The owner was called he told told him to get off his property and my daughter and him were not allowed back. That was the owners solution. I tried to call multiple times I had to call customer service who did not do anything but give me an email and the email would not go through. Then I got a response from the number they want you text! They said they would refund 1 class that was unused. I had 2 make up classes as well. They refuse to refund me. In their words through text because no one would speak to me in the phone is this. "Refund is for $31 for unused classes in Sept. We do not refund for make up lessons when an Early Withdrawal is placed." I was told prior this incident she could do the make up classes. They kicked my 6 year old daughter out of the class after one of their instructors caused visible harm to my child. Again his name is Jayden. Not once did they show concern or sympathy to my child.
