I just had a service call from Chris from Wright now plumbing. First off, great personality, good conversationalist. Second, knowledgeable, knew right where to start and what to look for. Third and most important HONEST! Where another company said that 3 different jobs would run well over $1000. Chris told me it was two jobs (because two of the issues would be fixed in one job) he charged significantly less! He was expedient, getting the work done quickly but professionally. Cleaned up the area and left no mess, Then he finished and left. 5 min later another issue came up. He turned right around and came back resolving the issue. I had a back up in my sink after the holidays. I tried snaking the line myself but I didn't have the proper tools or the know how to find out where the clog was. Chris came out very promptly after I left a message the day before. Pricing was very clear and Chris explained me the different possible reasons for the clog and what he was going to do. We just bought a house in Puyallup and our home inspector did not go all the way in the crawlspace and turns out the home had a water pipe that is no longer used because it's high risk to leaking. We tried some of the big name plumbing companies but the price was insane and the confidence in most of them was very low. Hot water tank started leaking at eight o'clock on Friday. Called five place one said they could come out Tuesday three never called back. Chris called back and got to right away. We thought it was going be a pain to fix. He looked at it went this done screwy. Changed so it would be to easy fix it broke again and done fast. Great price and knowledge and friendly. Great service and nice people, but once I tried to get a plumber's report for my insurance claim, I got ghosted. Never answers calls or returns voicemails or emails. At this point it's been months and it's just ridiculous, and now I can't continue with my insurance claim. If you want them to get back to you for that sort of thing, forget it. read more

We called Chris at like 11pm after we found a leak in the kitchen. We got his number on a friend's recommendation. Chris offered to come over immediately but the leak wasn't that bad so we scheduled for 10am the next morning instead so we could just go to bed. Chris came out and was able to fix my leak. He had to turn off my water meter to do it, when he was done he turned on the water then left. As I had water damage he referred another company to do the water restoration. I went out to the street to talk to this guy and saw the meter cover was still off. the next morning a Sunday I found that I had next to no pressure in my water system. I called Chris and Sunday he was not available, he assured me that it was probably not anything major but it should be looked at and that he would call me on Monday to set a time to come out and resolve this issue. On Monday I called Chris and the soonest he could get out was more than a week I expressed that that was a little long if there was a leak in the house that would cause more damage. I had a plumber friend out to make sure I didn't have another leak, he found that Chris didn't turn turn on the water from the meter properly. Like the cover being left off this shows a lack of follow up on completion of a job. I gave Chris the option to correct his error, his response was to push me out for a week or more. This fellow is reasonably priced, safe, careful and on time. That should be, but is not usually, the right combination. I saw a one-star review and I hope Chris answers to that. He might limit himself to the south end of Seattle, but I'd contact him and ask. Since he's a one-man show, maybe not huge jobs, but again, ask. Very good communicator.
