Communicating back and forth was a breeze as Eric (owner) would always respond back within minutes of receiving a message. That same evening, Eric and his brother-in-law showed up to pick up the mirrors. They were heavy and located in the basement, but they had the mirrors loaded in their truck in less than five minutes. Eric/team are super friendly and personable. If you are looking to have unwanted items from your house picked up, Cross Hauling will get the job done.

This move involved heavy commercial equipment, and they handled it confidently and carefully, including placement and reassembly without needing to be asked. They particularly asked what kind of chemicals we prefer and we said whatever that can get the carpet cleaned. They then sent two cleaning ladies (who were late for half an hour). I gave them my phone number to call me once the place is done, but they never called and left with the door unlocked, carpet uncleaned, and various other places uncleaned. I then communicated with the manager, manager said they can't clean the carpet (which they agreed to at the first place and was the reason I hired them in the first place) and found another carpet cleaning company to do it, at extra $550. I asked for a discount because the work was not done well, e.g. even surface of cabinet and floor uncleaned, manager gave me $20 off, and with many back and forth, sent back the ladies to finish the cleaning, which delayed our showing of the place by two days. After the second cleaning, I was going to pay them, they said they will take the $20 discount back because they came back finished the cleaning - not that I care $20 that much, with such service and all the time and efforts used to communicate with them and the delayed showing of my rental property, I would think taking back $20 discount at last minute is ridiculous, but I am exhausted communicating with them, will definitely not recommend them -- Follow up - They accused me lying on google review and try to twist what happened (go check it there if you want) and i have to paste the screenshots of the texts to prove I'm not, avoid this business

Pricing is the best u will find in this area & the solid communication involved in scheduling, providing estimates, & even follow up is outstanding. They are transparent, no random add on prices, & can conveniently accept almost all forms of payment. We've just moved out of state & utilized them for one last "move out cleaning," and have decided they will be our go-to cleaning crew we will always call to clean our rental homes between renters. Even without eyes on, from out of state, we know we can trust them to do a great job. Cannot recommend them enough! Do it. Make the call, send the text or email; you won't be disappointed.

We've now hired them twice, and both experiences were fantastic. The first time was for my in-laws' garage (photo attached), which hadn't looked that good in decades. The space was overflowing with a mix of items that needed sorting, hauling, and organizing -- and most junk removal companies I'd contacted only did one thing: either hauling or moving, but not the in-between work that actually makes a difference. Clarence's crew handled everything with care, patience, and total professionalism. They were respectful and thoughtful with my father-in-law, who's very particular about how things are done, and they made the entire experience feel easy instead of stressful. The second time, I needed help getting my own townhouse ready to rent while I was sick and overwhelmed. Once again, they showed up right on time, said "yes ma'am" to everything with a smile, and tackled every miscellaneous task I threw their way -- from organizing and moving items to hauling things out efficiently. Their estimates have been accurate and transparent every time. We did end up paying more for the first job, but only because they were so good that we kept adding tasks as we went -- and they communicated clearly about costs every step of the way. I can't recommend Buk'em Hauling & Junk Removal enough. They bring pride, respect, and warmth to their work -- the kind of attitude my Southern Army dad would be proud of. If you want a team that treats your home and your belongings like their own, these are your guys.
