I highly recommend Junk in the Trunk for hauling services. I first contacted a company in VA but…read morethey didn't service my area (Capitol Hill), and they suggested contacting Frank at JITT. After checking Yelp reviews and their website, I reached out to them. Frank was super responsive, quoted me a reasonable price, was able to come on my schedule, showed up exactly on time with a courteous, professional crew, and cleared away my junk pile with no issues. This included a very large and heavy plate glass mirror. The price was very fair - and on the JITT website they explain clearly how their pricing works, which I appreciated because I got 4 quotes for this service from different companies and they varied wildly. I would definitely use this company again if I needed it in the future. 10/10!

This was the most communicative moving service I've had-Dani and I discussed in depth the amount of belongings that needed to be moved and what factors would bump up the price. We discussed my budget and he adjusted the move's focus so that the final bill was right where I needed it to be. I have never had another mover be so flexible and conscientious about cost. They even went above and beyond in disposing of an old piece of furniture that we ran out of room to store. I have also had past moves with them that were very short notice and small. They were the most reasonably priced moving company for small moves by far. I would absolutely move with them again.

We stayed up late the night before getting everything ready. Near the end of the original pickup window, I was notified they were running late and asked to move the pickup to 3:00-5:00 p.m. While frustrating, I understand delays can happen. After waiting through almost the entire second window, they contacted me again and asked to reschedule for the following day. At that point, they were essentially asking me to spend another day waiting for a service that had already been delayed twice. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this company because they were not reliable with their scheduling.
