Ever since, it's been because not only are they good diagnosticians (without diagnosing the problem correctly, it can get costly), but they are impeccably honest. I'm pretty savvy when it comes to automotive issues (worked on cars for a good 20+ years before they just became too computerized & crammed), so I usually bring in a vehicle with my own opinion of what might be wrong, tell the mechanics, and let them go to it. Twice times I've brought in a vehicle with my own (incorrect) diagnosis, and both times they simply fixed what was really wrong; once at no-charge and another time at about $200 less than what my repair would have cost. My point is, they could have told me, "Yep. That was the problem just like you said" and charged me up the wahzoo. They didn't! Another time I asked them to fix something incidental along with my regular service. They did so & didn't charge me. I have recommended they shop to co-workers, two of which live near me and, having used them, tell me they will go nowhere else for repairs. PROS: - This shop is honest, knowledgable, competent and price-reasonable. They are family owned and well respected within the community. They never want for business (they are closed Sundays every-other Saturday) and their customers are extremely loyal. - ASE Certified CONS: - They only work on domestic vehicles, which bums me out since I can't bring my Saab into them. - As mentioned, weekend hours are extremely limited.
