Rj is the best at what he does. I have had him assist my mother n law, and sister. Both have come out winners with nice checks that the insurance companies where trying to steal by cutting the car values. Make sure to ask for RJ. read more

I have bought 2 reports from them, and they delivered the reports incomplete. after trying to repeatedly contacting them to correct the issue, the owner himself finally called me and refunded me one of the reports which had been delivered incomplete. to me, that shows good faith. he was also very nice and aware of the issues people have in getting ahold of them. for this reason I edited this review. as frustrating as it was not being able to get an answer by email, message or call, I recognize the good faith since he has been following up on my case. I don't have a resolution on the claims yet but I'll update this review when I do. read more

We just wanted to take a moment to thank you RJ and Wreck Check Atlanta for advocating for us in our insurance claim settlement. Hopefully this review will help others that are in the same situation with their insurance company. Honestly, RJ at Wreck Check is a lifesaver! After our VERY BIG NAME insurance company of 30+ years appraised my dad's "totaled" car for pennies on the dollar, we were shocked and frustrated. We couldn't even believe they totalled it. The body shop we were at suggested looking into an outside appraisal, and told us about Wreck Check Atlanta. I immediately researched Wreck Check Atlanta. We had never hired an outside appraiser before--didn't even know we had the right--but RJ and his team worked diligently and really went to bat for us. They encouraged us to be patient through the process, because insurance companies have all the time in the world to see if you will cave-and it paid off. Wreck Check secured a settlement for double the amount of the insurance agency's offer. DOUBLE! We were only hoping for a couple of thousand over, so this was such a blessing! We are so grateful to you RJ, and Juanita, and the entire team for the help. We can't tell you how many times we called to check in on how things were going, and Juanita talked us down from the ledge! Hiring RJ and Wreck Check Atlanta was the best decision and money spent to recover a fair settlement! If your insurance company is giving you a low ball offer, don't just settle, and don't sign... ask for the appraisal waiver and call RJ at Wreck Check. Our insurance agent and the person handling our claim in Corporate both told us they had never had somebody opt for the appraisal waiver. That is quite surprising... we feel pretty lucky for how things turned out, and learned a lot along the way. Thank you RJ, and thank you Wreck Check team! We are so grateful! read more

Great negotiations. Nice it is in Alpharetta, GA 30004. They checked in with me after the negotiation.

Cathy, Juanita, and RJ at Wreck Check Atlanta are amazing. I was a little nervous at first about using a company to go up against my insurance provider, especially because I didn't fully understand the process and assumed the insurance company was on my side. They took the time to explain everything in detail, both before and after I hired them, which really put me at ease. WCA were able to get me more money on an older claim that I had already accepted payment for, which truly impressed me. They are currently working on a new case for me as well -- so far, everything has been great, and I'll be sure to update once that one is complete. Highly recommend their team. read more

This is a big scam. It is impossible to reach them. They do not call you, emails at odd hours, text fr odd numbers and they don't call you. They threatened to take me to court for defamation because I said they are a scam These reviews have to be fake. I asked for several days and several times to call and they refused and said that I need to read my email and there is no need for a call rude mfers!! So unprofessional!!! read more

I didn't know what to expect when I chose this company. I wanted professionalism, dedication, experience, integrity, and overall satisfaction. I received this and more. They explained the process and timeline. They kept me informed every step of the way. They were courteous, professional, and effective. I am pleased with the outcome and highly recommend them. read more

Amazing Experience... Someone hit my truck on a Marine Corps base and USAA had it fixed but when I asked for about the Diminished Value Claim their proposal was $112.36... The trade in value is deeply affected by the accident... I called WCA on the 2nd of July to get an independent appraisal. They got me over $3,000 for the settlement and it only took 2weeks which the timing was faster than I expected. The truck is a 2015 RAM 2500 V8 6.4L Hemi... only had 75,000 miles before the accident and in perfect condition. If you qualify for Diminished Value Claim I highly recommend them. The process was simple they emailed me within minutes for any reply. I appreciate all you guys did! Thanks read more

10/10 recommend wreck check atlanta! They were super speedy and very transparent throughout the entire process. State farm was trying to screw me over after a semi truck totaled my car. Brent contacted me promptly after placing the inquiry on their website and was the first person after my accident that I had spoken with who actually seemed to show sympathy and care. Their fee is a flat rate and well worth it! They had me a demand letter and market analysis later that evening after speaking on the phone. Not long after a settlement was reached for over 6k more than my original offer. Thank you WCA! read more

After dealing with the stress of an accident, Wreck Check Atlanta was a breath of fresh air. They walked me through the diminished value process and delivered a solid report that helped me recover more than I expected. I have USAA car insurance and was offered a diminished value payout of $75 after an accident in my 2015 Acura w/ no prior accidents and low mileage). I immediately googled companies to get a third party appraisal and found Wreck Check. RJ reached out to me the same day and confirmed he could easily negotiate a higher amount. Within 2 weeks of hiring Wreck Check and sending the demand letter to USAA they cut my a check for ~$5,000. I highly recommend and would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

Outstanding service ! My car was a total loss and the person at fault left the scene which left me dealing with my own insurance, they made sure I wasn't being low balled on my settlement. Working with Wreck Check Atlanta was great as they were honest and very helpful navigating me through the diminishing value process. The process took awhile due some issues with insurance company but they were able to help me get that resolved. read more

I had a great experience with Wreck Check Atlanta! They educated me immensely on the Diminished Claim law, the process that auto insurance providers lean on, and my rights as a citizen of Georgia properly insured and negatively impacted my an auto accident - regardless of fault! The guarantee of the cost of the service to be refunded if they are unable to negotiate for a fair diminished value claim gave me the confidence to quickly proceed forward. Wreck Check Atlanta was able to secure me 35x times more in diminished claim value versus what the auto insurance provider initially offered! I hope to not be in another accident any time soon, but should the unfortunate happen, I would gladly call Wreck Check Atlanta to negotiate any future Diminished Value Claims! read more

Without Wreck Check Atlanta, I would have gotten the short end of the stick from my insurance company on my diminished value for my vehicle. Thank you Wreck check Atlanta for making this a seamless experience and going to bat for me with the big insurance company. If you in doubt, don't be! They will make sure you get what is owed to you by law. Thank you Again! read more

Great experience using Wreck Check Atlanta. RJ and his team were easy to work with and extremely professional. We went from an insurance offer of $642 to receiving $7400 all for a nominal fee and in just a few weeks. I would highly recommend Wreck Check Atlanta. read more

Without question this is one of the best investments I have made. The insurance company offered me $100.00 and after RJ worked his magic that offer went up to $3,000.00. Worth every penny. He is responsive, knowledgeable and keeps you informed. You wont regret using RJ and Wreck Check! read more

I got hit by some fool who was driving drunk around Christmas and he not only hit my car, he hit and ran, doing over $6K worth of damage to my car. Thank God no one was seriously injured, but my insurance company said that because the mileage on my car was so high, they weren't going to pay a PENNY for deminished value, even though the value of my car dropped from $12k to about $9K. Fortunately, Matthew's Garage recommended WreckCheck. They got me $2500 for the deminished value of car. It took about 60 days for the whole process to play out but it worked. First the insurance company offered me about $350, then $1500, then $2000, then $2500. I HIGHLY recommend RJ and the company - as well as Matthew's Garage, both of whom you can trust with your eyes closed! read more

I hired wreck check atlanta and instead of then handling my claim they went on vacation and then due to their lack of communication with the umpire they cost me over 10k in damages from USAA I don't recommend RJ Sweeney or his employees very unprofessional read more

I paid the initial fee to wreck check in June. It is October and still haven't gotten my settlement. They dropped the ball once they got paid. They come on strong with emails and calls and texts to get you to sign up with them. And that was it. Once they got paid they had to be asked repeatedly about how the process was going. They would not answer messages for days and I had to reach out so many times. In the end I had to correspond with the umpire myself because 2 months after I paid the umpire he still hadn't rendered a decision. They don't follow up on things unless you hound them. I would find a different company. They are only interested in getting your initial fee. Editing this review to add that as soon as I posted this, Wreck Check reached out to me via email and text telling me to remove the "uneccesary negative review" and called me impatient, telling me that they would withhold the umpire's decision until I removed the review. Thankfully the umpire had already submitted it to the insurance company and I now have my check. But this is what you are going to deal with. I am not a frequent reviewer of businesses, but I hope I can warn any other potential customers of how they do business. read more

Let's make this quick and to the point. If you are involved in an accident, you should trust no one other than Wreck Check Atlanta and RJ Sweeney to handle your diminished value claim. RJ was very clear in his communication and composed a thoughtful and thorough presentation outlining and documenting his claim to my insurance company. When my insurance company rendered their decision, RJ promptly advised me that he felt I was owed more, and directed to me to an independent umpire. When the umpire rendered his decision, RJ sent me a follow up email outlining how I should proceed. He was there for me through every step of the process. Recovering what I was owed was a lengthy and complicated process. RJ took all of the guesswork out of the diminished value aspect of my claim. I would 10 out of 10 recommend RJ Sweeney and Wreck Check Atlanta. He is truly an expert in his field. read more

Can't recommend and say good things enough about this small business. From start to the end we experienced top notch customer service. Everyone is so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They walked me through every step of the difficult process. I was able to get quite a lot of money back back from insurance company comparing to little tiny pennies they offered me. Thank you everyone at Weeck check Atlanta! You guys did a good job! read more

After battling my insurance company for over a year I happened to run into wreck check. After reading their reviews I was encouraged to reach out. Boy was I in for a surprise! These folks know it all and are extremely professional and quick. Their cost was minimal in comparison to what we got in returned. My insurance offered $2,200 for my vehicle and wreck check was able to get me an increase of pay out for almost $6,000.00 above what the insurance offered. This is by far the best investment I've made! Don't fight insurance companies and instead hire these awesome folks! Thanks wreck check read more

Without RJ, I would have settled for much less on the ACV of our totaled Lexus. My insurance company said 'no negotiations' after their first (and final - they said) offer. Well RJ came thru. I was extremely happy with what he was able to get. Had issues with my Insurance adjustor - but I escalated it & received satisfaction + an extra 10 day car rental from his boss. It was the Holiday season & I had a few communication issues with RJ... but the result was A++! He's your Best Friend when dealing with rigid selfless Insurance Companies! All it takes is 10 minutes of your time & a small flat fee (well worth it) and he handles the rest! Thanks RJ! read more

Thanks to RJ I received three times what the insurance company offered. My diminished value report was very thorough and detailed. I would definitely recommend RJ. read more

RJ Sweeney turned a low bal $302 offer from Geico to a $9500 check! My truck was stolen and when I got it back it needed extensive repairs. After more than $16000 in repairs and 4 months of me not having my truck I refused to accept Geico's diminished value estimate of $302. Honestly I thought would be more like 2500-3000 and RJ got me 3 times that amount. He was very responsive and helpful the whole process. Do yourself a favor and call RJ Sweeney if you had any accident or damage to your vehicle that would entitle you to diminished value. read more

Very much worth it. Very happy with RJ and the team's work helping me with the settlement with my insurance. Didn't even know such service exists. Fast responses and dealing with my case. Very satisfied and glad I hired Wreck Check Atlanta. Will recommend it to everyone! read more

Great process, very thorough in his explanation of detail and communicating of next steps through my process. RJ worked proactively to get a very detailed assessment of diminished value together and worked with me and my assigned representative from the insurance agency. With the help of RJ I was able to secure a fair and significant $$$ diminished value claim (my insurance company tried several times to undercut my estimate of damage and for several weeks ignored me altogether). The process went exactly as RJ predicted, instead of accepting the extremely small payout offered by the insurance company I was awarded through an umpire for almost 6 x's more than the insurance company's offer! Money well spent! Thanks RJ read more

RJ is as amazing as all of his reviews say. He is refreshingly honest and extremely good at what he does. I am currently compelled to tell every single person I meet to call him. If you've had a wreck or any damage to your car in the last 4 years, just call the guy. He will ask you some questions, have you send him the repair estimates and let you know if and how he can help. HE WILL DO EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS. If he thinks he can get you $3-4,000 pay him! I found him and sent a friend to him who had just been in an accident. He told her he could probably get her $2-3,000. The insurance company offered her $500. Two weeks later BAM! $2300. I brought up the fact that I had an accident from 3.5 years ago, and that's when he told me about the statute of limitations being 4 years. He told me that he could probably get me $3-4,000. My total investment was $455; $275 to RJ, and then $180 to an arbitrator("umpire") and within 2 weeks I had a settlement of $3,985. All I did was email him a couple of pics and the repair receipt, then certify mail the papers he sent me to the insurance company, and he did the rest. Please call him. Tell all your friends. It's almost like free money. Also, he is very friendly, always responds, and will absolutely not take your money or advise you to pursue something if it's not going to make you enough money to be worth it. Thank you RJ. My wife and I are going on vacation with my check. read more

We have used Wreck Check Atlanta for the second time -two new cars hit & damaged shortly after acquiring them. WreckCheck is very responsive but did not get results for me. They require a $325 payment and issue you a Demand Letter that you submit to the Insurance company. At the end the insurance company still refused to pay more than I had already negotiated and then RJ requested additional money from me to then file a lawsuit. My experience was that it did add any additional value than I was able to get myself. They will guarantee a high amount they can get you and will give you a refund if not, however, I did not get the refund. read more

My Wife was involved in a wreck where another driver ran a red light. Fortunately, no one was hurt. We found out that the other driver's insurance was with the same company as ours, not the best of situations. We fully expected our 6-month-old car would be declared as a total loss. Our insurance company insisted on repairing it - they spent well over $38,000 on repairs. Leaving us with a car that had a value significantly lower than on the day of the wreck. The 17c (Georgia law) offer for diminished value was unacceptable. I checked around and found RJ at Wreck Check Atlanta. RJ provided us with a comprehensive and detailed adjustor's report. RJ suggested a Lawyer and we proceeded to sue our insurance company. The case never got to court. They settled base, solely, on the strength of RJ's report. Great report, great service and well worth the money for his professionally produced report. read more

This was my first time I filed for a diminished value claim and was skeptical. RJ was wonderful and highly experienced, he made the process easier for me. I began the process of filing my diminished value claim on my own but quickly learned I did not possess the skills and experience to go through the process on my own. My online research brought me to Wreck Check. I was hesitant about making payment for services up front but after speaking with RJ on the phone, reading reviews and his BBB rating I bit the bullet and figured, what have I got to lose. RJ was very communicative through the entire process and responded to my questions immediately. He completely took all aspects of the burden of filling the claim off my plate. While the big insurance company only offered me $500 "take it or leave it" RJ was able to bring the settlement up to $2,800! Thank so much RJ GREAT JOB! read more

RJ of Wreck Check Atlanta is THE MAN! My nearly new, 2019 Kia Sorento LX V6 FWD was rear-ended (not my fault). I had yet to even make my first car payment on it. My insurance company, USAA, initially offered me a whopping $523 settlement offer. I reached out to RJ, and through his guidance, and after compiling an extremely thorough 41 page report on his diminished value findings, we settled for $5,000. I had no idea you could even dispute diminished value claims, and I'll be sure to refer him to anyone needing a service like this in the future. read more
