It's a hidden gem on RT. 73 in Berlin NJ in a small shopping center. The servers always have a smile on their faces and go the extra mile to make sure everything you ordered is perfect. Linen napkins, presentation of the food was excellent, like the chef put love into it and was proud to cook for you. I would definitely recommend The Fat Tomato ! I will continue going there trying all their Italian cuisine dishes, fresh colorful salads and OMG, their custom appetizers, have your taste buds very pleased. This is an unfortunate review. At first gave them 5 stars. Then literally a few days later all the…read morework they did on my vehicle started falling apart. I have no idea how they have a 4.8 review. The owners excuse is that they are short on employees and have a hard time hiring people and honestly I think the shop is about to go out of business. The owner requested for me to bring the vehicle by then when I did he literally refused fixing his bad work. He also pretended that he had no more of that vinyl in stock when they had a gigantic role of it just a few months ago when he did this botched work. So today he blamed the car rather than blaming his vinyl wrap LOL. You may see some good reviews on here, but be practical here. This is a shop that's going to be out of business and they're not going to honor any warranty work. And even if you catch him while they are still in business they will refuse to fix the repairs. So today I leave a bad repair and tomorrow I file small claims for the refund he refuses to give me, along with court cost.

So we stopped by, got one to go to share, and tried it out at home. It was EXCELLENT. Nice seeded roll, very generously seasoned with just the right amount of Cooper sharp cheese, very meaty and yes, MOIST. While it's not in a location that is anyway convenient to me, I'd definitely make a pit stop next time I'm in the area in need of a great cheesesteak.
