Keivan, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about making sure every guest has a great experience. The steak wraps were outstanding--packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying. Every bite was fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the food here. After trying the steak wraps, I already know I'll be back because now I want to try all the other dishes on the menu. I had a really frustrating experience at Wraps & Kebabs. I placed my order at the counter, but instead of putting it in right away, the employee helped two other customers and set my ticket aside. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes before I realized my order hadn't even been sent to the kitchen. After I moved seats, the employee noticed me and then finally handed my order to the cook. From there, I waited another 10+ minutes while the two customers who ordered after me got their food and left. When I asked about my order, I was told it would be another 5 minutes--at that point I had already been waiting close to 30 minutes for a simple meal. To make things worse, the staff started talking in Spanish assuming I wouldn't understand, saying I should've been told it would take 20 minutes. One of them even claimed he told me that--which was completely untrue. Long wait times happen, but poor communication and ignoring a customer's order is unacceptable. If it was going to take 20+ minutes, just say that upfront. Don't skip my order and then pretend I was informed. Definitely not a good experience, and I wouldn't come back. read more

We really wanted to love this place. Walked in. Two men working inside but no one said a word. I said hello and a friendly man came out. He suggested their top wraps so we ordered two of them. The chicken wrap was really fresh and yummy. However the steak wrap was not good. The meat was cold and chewy. There was way too much sauce so the salad inside the wrap was soggy so mucb so that the entire thing dripped all over the table, down my leg and into my left shoe. Yikes. It was nice that they had two small tables outside. There is no restroom so you need to plan ahead. I think this cute little place has potential but for now it seems a bit neglected and a little lost. I hope this place survives because I love small independent spots. read more

I've got to stop eating like this. Today I came into Wrap N Kabob and ordered a Steak Chimichurri Wrap ($14.99) with grilled jalapeños (75¢). I sat at one of the handful of indoor tables while the worker retreated to the back to assemble this creation. When he dropped it in front of me I quietly read my book while devouring the entire thing. I was halfway through this delicious wrap, dripping meat juices, chimchurri sauce, little bits of jalapeños, roast bell peppers, and fresh cherry tomato parts when I realized I was quite satisfied but decided that it'd never taste any better than it did at that moment. Then I proceeded to finish off the other half. If you like spicy fare don't miss the opportunity to add the grilled jalapeños to anything you order. For me, they really added the kick that I like in my food and I'd be apt to add them to everything on the menu. Wrap N Kabob is a tiny, very casual storefront with a few tables indoors and a couple more outside. Don't be fooled by the simple (funky, actually) decor; based on what I enjoyed, the food here is far better than the surroundings imply. read more

This place was such a wonderful find. After a long night of gallery hopping I was hungry and wanted something light but tasty. While searching to see what was even still open in the area this was one of the places I found and man was I glad I did! I ordered the chimichurri steak wrap, roasted garlic hummus and the beef wrap! Good thing that I ordered a few things because I ended up eating one of the wraps in the car when I intended to just have a little taste while it was still fresh and I ended up eating the whole thing! It honestly saved me a drive from Vallejo because I'd definitely would've drove back the next day for more! The service is always friendly and the food is always fresh, I was threatened with a good time with their Cheeto wrap (not something I'd normally try but I trust them enough to at least try it once!) This is a small spot with character but with limited seating and that's fine with me (I usually get mine to go but it's nice to have to option if I wanted to dine in.) I enjoy their food so much that I drive from Vallejo often (about 45 mins on a good day) for their wraps and I don't think twice about it! Great plate for food for not that much money. I really vacillated between four and five stars. Settled on four but consider it a strong four and a half. Got two plates. One the kobideeh beef and the other a shrimp. Got rice with one and wrap bread with the other when I was told the "salad" option was just some greens. The shrimp kabobs plate was good but not stellar. Kind of like a good shrimp stir fry you might get anywhere my partner said (and my sampling agreed) but the shrimp were fresh and juicy. Flavoring was on the thin side. The kobideeh beef was very good. It's ground beef with spices and skewered. Especially with the sauce they provide, it is particularly yummy. The rice was a little disappointing. Dry and not particularly flavorful. They provide sumac spice on the side and some hot white sauce which was great. The amount of food you get for the price was good. There are two small tables but the overall restaurant is tiny and they have no bathroom so it's more of a take out place than eat in. read more

We came in looking to scratch the kebab itch and came from SF to San Rafael in search of grilled meats and we were not disappointed. Ordered the combo grilled chicken and koobideh plate. It came with sumac red onions and grilled tomatoes that were perfectly charred over a bed of basmati rice. The meats were moist and flavorful and the veggies were fresh and a great complement to the buttery rice and creamy hummus. We also took it off the menu and made up our own plate with Shirazi salad instead of rice and side of hummus with lavash. Sooo good. Don't pass up this joint - it looks small but easily found seating inside or outside. Highly recommend. The food here is better than most white tablecloth joints! read more

We also had a catering order for our holiday party and the owner Chris was super helpful in customizing our order based on our guests dietary needs. It turned out perfect. I went there on a Saturday night and I got the Wrap N Kabob Special with chicken. It was tasty but it didn't taste like Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food. I'm not an expert on this type of food, but I've had my share. Perhaps they were having an off day. The staff was really nice. The pistachio ice cream was good (5 stars according to my partner). So last weekend, I was watching a YouTube channel LA try guy and he went to Iranian restaurant in Glendale, California. The food looked so good that I wanted to try it. Looking on yelp for some new suggestions I found Wrap n Kebab. I ordered a Shirazi salad and the chimichurri steak wrap. Never tried Iranian before and this was excellent so fresh and refreshing and left you feeling good about what you ate. The steak was seasoned so well and the flavor is balanced each other. Was hoping to grab some Puerto Rican food from Sol but the line was too long. Happened upon this place which is right around the corner and was pleasantly surprised. Huge portions of salad and combo plate of chicken and beef. The meat was tender and good but lacked seasoning and the salad was pretty tasty with the olives and sun-dried tomatoes leading the charge. The guy running the register was very cheerful and was really cool. Food came out within a few minutes and we chowed down ! Stopped in while waiting for an appointment and wanted to try something new. I'm so glad I did because it was well worth it! Small place but the food packs a mighty big flavor! I was greeted upon entry and the guy that helped me gave great suggestions. I went with the shrimp wrap and it didn't disappoint. My husband's koobideh wrap was too wet and dripping more like a Philly cheesestake rather than a Persian Koobideh wrap. There seems to be other Persian food around. Delicious food! So nice to have a great Persian food option located centrally. We did a catering order and it was so delicious I ate a couple skewers of the koobideh kabob on the drive home, couldn't resist. First, I love Persian food, good Persian food. Since the owner of Hattam, which was on B Street, closed up and went back to Tehran there hasn't been a good sit down Persian restaurant in Marin. Both times I had the Wrap N Kabob special and both times it was tasty, filling and worth every penny. The fries were fresh, hot - crispy on the outside tender on the inside...just as it should be. The staff was nice, helpful and the food was ready quickly but not rushed. I look forward to trying the more traditional Persian dishes. read more

I noticed Wrap N Kabob opened in downtown San Rafael and was curious to try it. We had delicious dinner here last week. My boyfriend said it felt like we were eating at someone's home and I couldn't agree more! I ordered the koobideh kabob plate and my boyfriend ordered the combination plate. The beef was tender and delicious. Both came with plenty of rice, grilled tomatoes, green onions, and some lavash. We ordered a side of lavash which ended up being the perfect amount to enjoy with our dishes. You get a generous amount of food for the price. The service was excellent. The owners, a father and son were very friendly and checked on us throughout our meal. I look forward to going back and trying more off their menu. read more

My go to place for lunch and sometimes dinner. The Staff are super friendly and make you feel at home. Ive recently been hooked on the cheeto wrap, which just adds some extra crunch and in my opinion is to die for. The rest of food there is incredible and you wont ever leave hungry. I came across this place about a month ago and eat there about 2x a week on average. I'm a creature of habit and always order the same meal. #1 special :-). I've brought other coworkers to eat there as well and they've enjoyed the food as well. My boss likes the wraps and one of my other buddies gets the chicken skewers. Overall, the food is really good (especially for the price). It's filling, very tasty and doesn't need any additional seasoning in my opinion. Chris, the owner is fun to chat with as well.
