I have passed through this station many times but never boarded here until this day. I had a few bags and luggage. The station is not small but ut definitely does not compare to the size of 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. There are several entrances around the perimeter of the station. Luckily I found one that has a ramp as many of the doors have a set of steps to go up and down. The station is very bright with a lot of light coming from an atrium ceiling. There are several staircases and escalators that lead upstairs to the tracks. Announcements are made frequently and loudly. I requested the help of a Red Cap. He was very accommodating to me as I also had a handicap ticket. He took my luggage to the baggage counter and had them checked. The attendant also assisted me when it was time to the tracks via the elevator and directly to my train car. I would gladly use this location any time again in the future.

This station has been renamed to honor former President Joe Biden. Our train departure time was changed only to revert to the original departing time. An announcement was made to make way to the track which was done in a mad rush manner. SMH moment. The train left on time and I was glad to be on my way. Nothing to do with the station, but the train heading to NYC was freezing, loud and uncomfortable. We grabbed seats near the restroom, which unfortunately, had a strong, disgusting floral odor emanating every time the door was left open. A bit of a nightmare. The Cafe club car serving snacks/drinks was a joke. I had to wait so long just to purchase 2 bottles of water with no other customers there! I live in a section of the city that I've happily discovered is surrounded by libraries and each one has its own character. Visited the North Wilmington branch for the first time last week. It's definitely one of the smaller branches. There's a daycare attached to it which is nice and so is the staff. Their DVD collection is small as well but I was still able to find new releases there. You'd be surprised to know these public libraries get new releases about the same time Redbox and Netflix does. All you need is a membership and practice good borrowing habits. Another plus, they have their own parking lot. Big deal since this branch is on the very busy Market St. heading towards Philadelphia Pike.

I valeted by car through PMG at the Courtyard Marriot in Wilmington, NC. They parked the car…read moreillegally in an employee space at the local library. The valet returned my car to me with a ticket. Eric, the PMG manager, claimed he would follow-up with the County Finance department to pay the ticket on my behalf. 30 days went by and the $20 ticket turned into a $35 ticket. Spoke to Eric several times after this and he claimed he would handle it. After a week, I learned that the county finance department had not heard from Eric, so I just paid the ticket to avoid further late fees. Don't valet your car with PMG.
