The event itself -- free admission, local vendors, food trucks, live music drifting across an open field -- had an easy, unhurried energy that felt genuinely community-built rather than produced. People were there because they wanted to be, and it showed. What set it apart was the heart behind all of it. The volunteers and staff were warm, knowledgeable, and clearly devoted -- not just to the event but to the animals whose stories they shared with anyone who'd listen. And those stories land. Each resident has a history, and hearing even a few of them reframes the whole visit. You stop seeing animals and start seeing individuals. The vendor village was thoughtful and local -- the kind of lineup that reflects actual values rather than whoever paid for a booth. The music kept the atmosphere light without overshadowing the real draw. Best for anyone who appreciates community events with genuine purpose -- families, solo visitors, people who want to spend an afternoon somewhere that means something. Luvin Arms earns its reputation quietly, and Spring Fest is a beautiful entry point.

They can feed goats, sheep, bighorn sheep, alpacas through fence. Chickens are turkeys are running around free and it's set up great that you can roam and not feel like your on top of other guests. They have a sandbox type silo, a bunch of toy trucks to play with, some climbing and swinging items and a small play house (we did not go in because a bunch of kids were playing). I would say go early bring a lunch and sit out and play and let kids explore. It's a little pricy $15 for anyone over 12 months so a family of 4 is $60 but I'm sure it helps the farm keep well maintained. I would go back and recommend to anyone with small kids.

For my husband's birthday last weekend, I booked us each a 55 minute api-therapy appointment. We were in our individual huts and the experience was amazing!! Being beekeepers ourselves, we have a great love for bees and completely understand their importance and benefits that they bring to the world. The huts are very cozy and you're provided clean towels if you choose to rest your head on a pillow. While this seems the best way to lay in the hut, you really cannot hear the bees. They provide a face cradle so you can lay on your stomach and that worked so much better. I put my nose between the cedar planks so that I could inhale so much more of the hive air and I cannot tell you how much I absolutely love the smell of wood combined with the scent of honey and honeycomb! Don't worry, the bees cannot get to you as there is a wire mesh to keep them separate from you. Since there is a sliver of light coming through the hive side, you can watch the bees working. The huts themselves are bright and full of light. I fell asleep probably within 5 minutes after I adjusted myself and slept for about 40 minutes. To me, the collective of bees sounded like rushing water once you listen past the single, higher pitched buzzes. We both felt completely relaxed and refreshed afterward. I suggest everyone to give api-therapy a try!!
