The lady spoke negatively of Budget Blinds and came off dishonest.. a completely different experience from Rich. I decided 5 mins into that interaction that I was sticking with Rich. Just based on the professional and friendly customer service. Unfortunately, my shades weren't what I wanted them to be but Rich & Mark did not take it personal and they were so patient and kind even though I was very blunt about what I didn't like. Somehow one of windows was a different shade, the valances weren't what was described, and we didn't like how they looked (personal opinion) but others liked them. They did everything within their power to satisfy us as their customers. They contacted the manufacturer to correct the issues that were pointed out and did it without any animosity. Rich owned the misinformation given to me and that's powerful. This could have been a 2 star review, just because of all of the things that "went wrong". I understand not every transaction will go smoothly, which happened to be mine, but the way they handled everything was Chik-fil-a top tier, lol. I didn't want to mention the series of unfortunate events but to me that is what brought out their best service. FYI the issues were out of their control and I am picky. At the end of the day, people buy from people. I will continue to refer business to them.

Pilar and Celene were great to work with on my two projects -- both extremely knowledgable, and made my projects feel important even though I'm sure they were pretty small (~$1200 in total). I chose to install myself; however, when I found that my custom fixed blind appeared to be a bit too big, The Frog sent a technician to modify the blind and get it up and running. Although my immediate blind needs are now met, I will not turn a blind eye to The Frog for my future window projects.

My townhome contains between 20 and 25 windows. I wasn't sure what type of window coverings I wanted due to questions about purpose (heat resistance/aesthetics/etc) and cost. Scheduling: I requested a quote using Yelp on a Saturday. Within 30 minutes, I had a reply informing me that my request had been received and John would give me a call shortly to schedule a time to see the house and discuss my options. John called, set up the appointment, and arrived 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time. I'm a big fan of punctuality. Our checklist: We knew we wanted shutters, but budget was a concern. John explained the cost in a very transparent manner. No hidden fees, surcharges, etc. I also wanted one of the rooms to be as dark as possible as it was primarily going to be used for watching sports and I didn't want glare. John took the time to explain his different offerings to achieve that goal. I ended up with cellular shades which perform wonderfully. All said and done, we ended up with shutters on one flood, cellular shades and roller shades on another, and wood blinds in the bedrooms. Also, there were a ton of options to customize color, shutter trim, valance options, roller fabric, and many more. Installation: All of the window coverings were installed with the care you'd expect someone to use in their own home. John was very flexible with the appointment scheduling. There were 2 different appointments, one for the shutters and one for the rest of the coverings. His installation job was quick and efficient without being hasty. We decided to start with a few of the "more important" rooms (read: we want it darker in there!) so we called a few different companies to quote us on our "highest hopes" level down to "more reasonable and in our budget" level even though we weren't sure if/when we would be able to install them. Jaronne came in on time, prepared and very friendly.
