We are members at WorldMark and booked previously for my mother in law and aunties. They liked the place so we booked and stayed in the two bedroom until last weekend. Danielle and the girls came out on Friday to celebrate mothers day. They were a bit disappointed to find out that you had to make reservations for the pool and the next time slot available was a couple of hours away. They made due and enjoyed their time. Ezra and I came up the next day to relax as a family. The unit was clean and the grounds were nice and spacious. But again, when wanting to go down to the pool the next available time slot was at 6 pm. Again, we made due but it was a bit of an inconvenience. I booked this resort for my husband's birthday. It was ok, beside the final bill. Suddenly you discover that you were hit by a $95 RCI Split week housekeeping fee. At the resort I was told that the money goes to RCI. I called RCI they told me that they don't have anything to do with this fee. During our stay no housekeeping accrued, not even a towel change. WorldMark now OWNS RCI and they behave like a mafia bully imposing extra fees to their liking. It is unfair and unacceptable! Shame on you!!! read more

I purchased a Worldmark trial plan for over 3k and used it all in this resort with the goal of relaxing in pools and floating down the lazy river. Prior to booking I checked for any alerts as they reporting construction alerts from 2022-2023. No alerts were reported for 2024. We arrive to find the lazy river was closed for renovations and the main pool was closed due to construction dust. Our room was next to this area and I reported my health concerns due asthma and was refused any accommodations. The small pool at the other side of the property was open and the bathroom next to it was closed. This resort was horrible. The staff were nice, but never accommodated us. I would never stay at any Wyndham or Worldmark resort again. Lastly, no services were offered. We stayed 6 days and had to clean our own room, take out our own trash, etc. No midweek clean. I have to preface this four stars as this is during COVID so very well could have been five stars but half of the services are closed including the lazy river and hot tubs so that kind of sucks. With that being said the resort is clean, people are nice, and the pools that are open are great. The beds we had in our unit were not great and having a king and two twins was not Ideal for two adult couples but we made it work. I did love having a full kitchen and it was equipped fine for us to cook and barbecue. We had a corner unit ground level by the pool which was perfect. Winco is five minutes away. I stayed here this past weekend with my girlfriend (now fiancé) and her family for a nice getaway. I've only visited the west coast a handful of times because I live on the east coast. This place was beautiful. This place was also hot. Very very hot! You're in the desert basically. Very close to Palm Springs. The drive here from LA was amazing. Awesome scenery. We took 60 to 10 and we were greeted with a sea of windmills. It's hard to describe how it looked but it seemed like something out of a cartoon or anime. Just very surreal and hard to keep your eyes off of it. Not good if you're the one driving! Anyway, back to the actual resort. Staff was very friendly and greeted you whenever they saw you. Very professional and accommodating. I didn't get a chance to checkout the lazy river which is a pool that you can just float on an tube and well... just be lazy lol. The pool is lots of fun as well. We checked out the game room which was a ton of fun. If you bring kids with you, they will probably want to come here often. There is also a good sized gym for those who want a nice workout. Plenty of equipment. There is also a basketball court but there is only one rim. Wish there was at least a full court. But it doesn't matter. Most of the time it was too hot to play outside anyway lol. The rooms were nice. The only downside to this place was that there were a ton of flies. TONS! Flies in the rooms, the game room, outside, everywhere. But that's not a problem of the establishment, more so the environment. Some of the rooms didn't have good seals at the bottom of the doors leading to outside. I can clearly see daylight under the door of our room. This place still gets 5-stars from me despite the fly issue. I proposed to my girlfriend here on Saturday by the pool and she said yes! So this place will always be apart of our lives. well, this is our first time staying at any sort of timeshare and wow: we did not expect to like it as much as we did, especially for the price we booked through booking.com and beyond the rooms already being significantly cheaper per night, there were noticeably fewer (none) ticky-tacky resort fees, though we did have to pay for wifi which was really spotty inside our room that being said, our room was big and spotless; well appointed with a washer, dryer, full kitchen and cookware; water pressure was great and the grounds were very well maintained i suppose the only real negative is there aren't a ton of dining options nearby and we found ourselves having to drive off site frequently, which isn't such a big deal except it is somewhat tucked away all in all, we traveled with a baby and being able to cook in your room, while not having to bring anything to do that is kind of a game changer for us. we'll have to seriously consider what other timeshare options are available to us when we travel in the future -- that, and i guess more seriously considering airbnbs/vrbos as well thank you for the great experience! read more

Stayed here for three nights with the in-laws and our kids. Weather was extremely hot as expected so the pool and the lazy river were super critical. Lazy river was fun and it was shallow enough for my 4.5 yr old daughter to get in and out of the tube on her own. I thought the pool was clean and well maintained as well. But honestly other than the pool, there really isn't much to do here. If you are just looking for a relaxing getaway, I think this place will be just fine. But if you are the adventurous type, I think you might find this place a bit boring very quickly. We didn't have any issue with the staff during our stay. We kind of just did our own thing and everyone else just minded their business as well. I'd say try to come here during non-summer months because this place gets insanely hot. read more

Really enjoyed our 3-night stay at WorldMark Indio. A good friend of mine is a WorldMark owner and we all stayed there. She booked us a 1BR and her family and our other friend's family stayed in a 3BR suite. Check-in was fairly simple. They have lots of employees in the lobby directing you where to go. It was quite busy the Friday we got there so we were fortunate enough to be checked in right away. After getting your room keys, you have to go to the concierge to get your parking pass. That's where they will ask you to attend an informative timeshare presentation. I politely declined and after being asked a couple of more times, the agent we dealt with got the drift I wasnt interested. I guess that's all part of it. I'm not one to be pressured nor do I enjoy being so. Oh well. Our 1BR unit was big. It had a king bed with closet, TV and dresser/drawer. It had a good sized bathroom with shower/tub combination. It had a full kitchen with a large size refrigerator, oven/stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, etc. There was a breakfast counter with 2 stools. There was also a dining table for four. There was another TV by the kitchen and living room which housed a Murphy bed and a couch. There was a good sized patio with table, chairs and a bbq grill. There was also a stacked washer/dryer unit with laundry detergent supplied. All utensils for eating and cooking were provided along with pots & pans you may need. I was really impressed with the layout, size and amenities the room provided us. There was also a full size closet on the hallway that had the ironing board, iron, broom and dust pan. The grounds were nice with the pool within view of our unit on the 3rd floor. There is a good sized pool, splash pad and lazy river. There is also a snack shop/coffee shop that serves Starbucks items. There are some groceries there too but you really have to go to the WinCo Foods about a mile and half away for your market needs... The pool was cool but being summer it was very crowded as it was a very warm weekend. We still were able to get lounge chairs so that was cool. Pool towels are in your room so you have to bring them to the pool and back or you will be charged. The pool was fun and so was the lazy river. Staff was friendly. Room was great. Noise was a little bothersome... We had someone (drunk) knock on our door then loudly at our bedroom window thinking we were the unit his friends were in. I angrily got up and cussed him out. He was apologetic. But still, that wasnt cool... AND.. the gardeners with their leaf blowers and trimmer at full volume EARLY SUNDAY AM were a rude awakening I did not want to have. What is up with that? So early?? On a Sunday?? That was a BIG negative for us and our stay. Also.. not all the parking is covered. In that desert heat, I fell they should be. Overall, a good stay. Had a wonderful stay. The staff was super friendly from check in to check out. We had a two bedroom suite which came w a Murphy bed in living room. The ice maker in the suite was perfect in this 100 degree heat. I love the lazy river and the fact that I really never have to leave the resort. On site there's a Starbucks, cafe for sandwiches and smoothies, and then you can buy liquor in the market to make those smoothies alcoholic. Voila! I was floating in the lazy river for hours w Pina coladas! Plus, we stopped at the market so we could stock up our fridge. Every suite has a full kitchen complete w cooking paraphernalia. There's also a BBQ on the balcony of every suite! As well as plenty of BBQs in the communal areas, a game room, basketball court and I think a putting green. The resort is set on a golf course. But I'm not a golfer so I didn't pay attention to that area lol. read more

Would never buy a timeshare here. The clientele is ghetto and has radios blasting every 5 feet at the pool. As much as I love music, you can't hear anything other than noise. People don't watch their children when pooped in the pool right by us and then someone else threw up and the parents didn't even care. Also, there are cockroaches in the rooms in many review. Thankfully, I didn't see that, but I would rather stay in Palm Springs copper every single time. We came guests of friends and will never be back. Also, the rules in the lazy river are ridiculous. it doesn't even go fast and they don't let you just walk or float they make you stay in a tube which is super uncomfortable for myself. I wanted to walk along in a lazy river while holding onto my children with two and was told I would have to leave if I was not in the tube as well. Then some drunk tried to pick a fight in the spa with ourselves and the family that we were staying with over politics like a psychopath. He was super ghetto and said he was going to come back with his "crew." Never experienced anything like this before at a resort and never will again. The next night we stayed at Omni and enjoyed fun, classiness, beautiful amenities, and felt safe. I would not recommend staying her and definitely would not recommend a timeshare here. read more

I have been a worldmark owner since 1995 and have stayed in many, many of their resorts all over the US and other countries. Im really disappointed in the Indio resort. You can do better worldmark! Pros: pool was fairly warm in January, hot tub was small but nice Room was big and beds comfortable Cons: Not much that we wanted to do in Indio. Everything we wanted to do is a 35 minute drive to Palm Springs so just be prepared for that 3 out of 5 nghts it was very noisy outside with guests that want to party, BbQ and play basketball after 10 pm. Even though it states in the rules that noise will not be tolerated after 10 pm, security tolerated it after two calls to them. Finally at midnight I had to go out on my balcony and tell people to please be quiet... They did not stock our room well with the usual soap, toilet paper, etc. Had to call to get that Dishwasher was a piece of crap that does not get dishes clean and does not dry them at all Oven is super cheap piece of crap that takes forever to cook food Dryer is a piece of crap and falling a part Front door is broken and won't latch properly, you think it's closed but it's not...big safety hazard Had a cockroach greet us in the kitchen when we first arrived There was never parking close to our unit Spa prices were ridiculously high All in All...it was not that great and I wont book here again read more

One star is way too generous! I was in shock at the lack of professionalism! The first day I went to the gym. The equipment was crusty, and there were no Lysol wipes. I asked the woman to please put some Lysol wipes in. I came back 24 hours. No Lysol wipes. so I talked to the manager. I asked if she could please make sure Lysol wipes are there by tomorrow. She replied, "most likely." Furthermore, she had a smirk on her face. I was going let it go, but my husband was bothered by this and called the manager. The manager Terrence talk to Samantha and Terrence called us back stating that the Lysol wipes were there but they had fallen. This is a flat out lie. The following day I walked up to the lazy river with my flotation device. I was going to ask if I could use it, but I saw a gentleman using his own flotation device and not the provided tubes. I proceeded to get in the water when I was approached by a very angry person Named Eric. Eric told me that my flotation device was a toy and not a flotation device. I told him that I will not use my flotation device when the gentleman is not using his own flotation device. Eric threw a tube at me it came within 3 feet of my face. I was an utter shock! he yelled this is a flotation device! I float. I floated for about an hour. During this time Eric left his position about 75% of the time leaving some people in potential danger since he is a lifeguard. He was fuming and yelling. He went and got his manager. By that time about 10 other people using their own flotation devices. I was told I could not use my own. I was in shock and disbelief. That other people were being treated better different than me. I was not quite sure this whole situation. Yvonne, the manager of the facility came out. And told me I had to get out of the water. She did not apologize for throwing a device hit me. I filed an incident report with the security. The head of security told me that my device is a flotation device. Literally for one hour the lifeguards were fixated on me and it was very disturbing. One even made a very large gesture of a lasso, and pretending to lasso me. I truly have never seen such unprofessional staff in my entire life! I will never forget this very bizarre incident and trip! Please do not visit this place because the managers and most of the workers are very unprofessional and very confusing by their behavior, even violent and angry! This resort is full of amenities. They have basketball courts playgrounds an arcade and much more. Not to mention two pools, a splash pad, kiddie pool and a lazy river. This place is very family friendly and has a welcoming vibe. The resort is gated and next to a golf course. We came in November when it was still pretty warm to swim and not very crowded. Everything was clean and presentable. This resort would be in my top 3 for world mark. Be mindful it is kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for a weekend getaway to enjoy the outdoors or focus on family time. read more

Just checked out after 2 nights in a two bedroom, two bath suite. While we stay in the area often, but this was our first stay at a Worldmark property. The pool area is nice. Lots of loungers, and 3 spas. The lazy river is small, and crowded even on low capacity days but we still enjoyed our time in it. There's also a small 2' pool for young children. My 5 year old enjoyed the arcade located near the pool. I also wanted to say, contrary to other reviewers' experiences, that I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful at check in, recommending activities and restaurants in the area as well as providing us with coupons and discounts. They also update you regularly via text with any pertinent announcements or information, and you can communicate with them via text in which replies are prompt. So why only 3 stars? The rooms are spacious but not well cleaned, and the furniture is worn and in need of an update. I went barefoot on the carpet the first day and the bottoms of my feet were black, so I started wearing slippers. Pool towels provided in-room so you need to reuse them for the duration of your stay. No toiletries are provided except for a bar of soap in each bathroom. Gardening services started at 8am and it's impossible to sleep when people are using industrial blowers just below your balcony, even with the windows closed. Lastly, you must pay for wifi. It's $4.95/2 devices for 24 hours. Not a terrible expense but this is the only resort I've been to in over a decade where wifi isn't complimentary. The service at this location is awful, so you really can't get away with not purchasing the wifi. The price is definitely right though. We paid less than $250 for two nights in a big suite suite with a full kitchen, when other resorts in the area that are also outdated, like the Omni, have run us $900+ for two nights in just a hotel room. Overall, I am satisfied with our first visit and I recommend the value. read more

Out of difficult circumstances superstars are made. As a Father's Day gift my wife and kids brought me to Indio/Worldmark at the last minute Sunday 10:00pm. We arrived to Indio from the San Fernando Valley at 2:00am. Apparently booking.Com had a hiccup with payment getting over to Worldmark. My card was charged 4 times at a healthy rate. The good staff at Worldmark brought this to my attention and took the initiative to get this hiccup fixed. The moral of the story is sometimes hiccups will happen in life but treat everyone like Samantha and Marina treated me and my family and your customers will not only appreciate you but they will trust you and become lifetime repeat customers with the confidence in knowing that good people will always step up when least expected. Great and plentiful amenities in a large resort. Lots of pool options, hot tubs, a grill for everyone. Lots of space, patios and balconies. There is a market, a cafe and grill, movie theatre, game room, There is no need to leave the resort for anything. The rooms are well appointed and roomy. It's a DIY with with concierge at your service when wanted. The staff was very helpful. The female lifeguard at the lazy river particularly accommodating and helpful. My only complaints were the lifeguard who forbid me to exercise by walking against the current in the otherwise empty lazy river because it was after 9 am and I therefore must have a tube and move with current Only other issue was the 3 days it took them to get us both coffee and filters after calling to ask us to go on a marketing tour, er, I mean " if we needed anything" Great place overall though. We showed up for our 5 day reservation at 10:00 at night. We had 3 sleeping children and had just picked up our groceries for a relaxing spring break. Unfortunately, at the front gate We learned that they had bumped our reservation that morning. We were flying to the location and received no information about them canceling our reservation. So... we had no where to go, had no information, crating sleepy kids, and the resort wouldn't even let us past the front gate to try and call around to find a place to stay. This resort not only cancelled our reservation without notifying us but also were so rude. There was no support in helping us to find new accommodations. This was the worst vacation experience I have had. I would not trust this location to honor your reservation. Book at your own risk. read more

End of June is crowded. This place was ok. Upon arrival we found popcorn on the floor in our room. You get one set of pool towels to use all week. One package of laundry soap (maybe you can get more if you ask?) and we got one half roll of paper towel in kitchen. Patio table was sticky and gross with sweet alcohol residue and my kid and husband came back from the pool with red ant bites on the it body. I'm not saying this place is terrible. You can draw your own conclusions. You can hear all your neighbors especially the ones upstairs reenacting Jurassic Park scenes. It was the worst of times and the worst of times. If you want a mini vacation I guess this will work. It's hot, and a mess. It's a hot mess of the desert. Bring your aloe , sunscreen, Benadryl for bug bites and slippers to wear inside. Probably some sanitizer and wipes also. Stay away from the little convenience store on site if you can. Saw items in $.99 store bags to be put on shelves and sold for 3-5 times the price. If you are planning to do anything strenuous do it in the AM. One pool had to be closed due to fecal. Oh the joys of Indio! Have fun! read more

We love coming to this location. I have been to many their places, including New Zealand. Indio is a great location, a decent golf course next door along with many other amenities. Worldmark is always consistent, clean, friendly & hospitable. With that being said, they have striped 2 pickleball courts onto a tennis court, bravo, which is a great idea being it is the fastest growing sport in N America. The snowbirds love some sun & Pickleball. However I went to the courts this morning and the nets are trashed/garbage. With the high priced dues that the members pay I know they can afford to buy new nets once a year. We were so disappointed in the quality of the nets we had to look elsewhere. They were torn, bent, sagging & rusting out and in pathetic shape. I encourage Worldmark to do better. It's almost better to not have any than the ones that are out there now. read more

We booked a room weeks ahead only to get a message the day of wedding vacation that the room is not available due to maintenance and there are no other rooms available. Unbelievable. Imagine that message coming in while you're about to get into your car to go on vacation and having to spend hrs on the phone to get another hotel on memorial weekend. Rep said all other rooms are booked. They obviously overbooked and or gave priority to timeshares holders. Dirty business move. We ended up staying at Tommy Bahama resort which is a wonderful place with great amnesties, service and rooms. We enjoy coming to this location. The lazy river, movie theater, arcade, and great restaurants nearby make it enjoyable for the family. We purchased as owners several years ago. We have liked our ownership recently they over customer service overseas and you can't call back owner services in Vegas directly. We had an issue with a guest certificate being charged incorrectly and I spent hours trying to fix it. My first time staying at this resort, we visited during Mother's Day weekend and LOVED IT!!! Beautiful landscaping.Front registration team was so nice and helpful even let us check in earlier. The rooms where very nice and clean. But my favorite spot was the pool!! So many to choose from!! I spent the entire weekend by the pool..did absolutely nothing because duh it was Mother's Day!! My oldest daughters went to the nearby market and whipped up a delicious dinner and the other days, well thank god for postmates...i see a few people complain about bugs/flies, what do you expect it's the desert, they where there first. My son hurt his toes and fingers on the floor of the kiddy pool but I don't think there's much that can be done, maybe water shoes next time The entire staff that we came across where so friendly and helpful. Omg this place is a joke , fist of all its Easter weekend and there is not a lot of people here , we came down to get some sun , swim and relax , the lazy river is closed , no reason at all why it's closed , the way they have things set up here is ridiculous ! First they don't want things packed , but everyone has a time scheduled for the pool , Then you get to the pool and it's super crazy packed !! The workers here are super rude !! No one here is nice , all Workers have an attitude!! I said good morning to a lady sweeping and she just stares at me !! This is the first time staying here and my last !!! This is a review not necessarily for this location, but for WorldMark customer service in general. We tried making a reservation for a couple days over the weekend; online reservations said they had 3 nights available (2night min req). The site would not let us reserve so we called worldmark customer service (not the location), and they said they couldn't help... not, "we will work on this and get back with you" just they didn't know the problem, couldn't help, and hung up. We called back to the location today, and they have only 1 night available now, but had to connect us to their customer service to reserve. Upon talking to them, they said that since it's a 2 night min, they couldn't reserve regardless if it sat empty, and regardless of the horrible customer service we experienced on the previous call. Overall, regardless of this location or any of the other properties, their customer service has been so horrible and sub par that we question why we even bothered going with WorldMark. WorldMark: please train your customer service staff on actual customer service, and what it entails as it doesn't reflect what your sales dept advertises. read more

No room service for food. Plus all the elevators are out of service. * Children's play area is small and boring. * I stayed in the second floor and it sounded like the ceiling was going to collapse of how bad is squeaks from the neighbors upstairs. * they don't even offer complementary Wi-Fi. * YOU must take out all your trash upon check out. Good things Has a small kitchen with a refrigerator that actually works !, electric stove, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The pools are nice. The BBQ areas are very nice. Well we made reservations for our soccer team to do a local tournament through Hotels.com. The world mark was blaming hotels.com and hotels.com was saying it was world mark. Not sure who's at fault but they cancelled our reservations less then a week before the event. They had excuses saying it was to the property owners discretion, but oddly, our whole team booked Separate rooms there with separate sites, ALL were cancelled. They tried to use out of state as an excuse but we're all in state residents. I won't be using them again. What a crock. Off to Staybridge we go. It's our stay of choice but we were gonna give this place a try because it's slightly closer. They just lost business for at least 5-6 families. read more

The location functioned okay for our 1 day excursion but can't say I would re-visit. The walls are very thin as you can hear noise from adjacent units and upstairs. I didn't particularly feel like the clientele really honored Covid-19 guidelines as many visitors walked freely about with no masks and social distancing was only apparent if you exercised your distance. They allowed the pools to be over crowded and music from some units blared at the annoyance of other visitors. The unit I stayed in had a stain on the bed which was not a good first impression. I had to call twice to maintenance to bring batteries as the remotes for the TV's were inadequately. While we are all dealing with covid, I do feel that businesses have had at least two months to practice. As guests we are being asked to be flexible and I feel this applies as well to vendors. The gist of this review is to say that the administration if this property is far from flexible in addressing guest needs. We had come over from the the Wyndham property in Palm Springs that was enforcing a chain wide check out of 10am. Our intent at the time was to see if our room was available and to reserve a slot for the pool (we knew the drill) . Checking in is a requirement to make a pool reservation. Upon arrival, we were greeted at a closed gate controlled by Luna the security guard. She informed us that we would not be allowed in until 2p (we arrived around 11a). No exceptions no explanations. With some insistence she gave us the number to guest services and she instructed us to pull away to the side driveway in our vehicle and make our call there. (This was in the sun and it was already 114f outside but somewhat cooler in our vehicle as the a/c was running). Ashley, the room manager, explained that we could not check in because it would be "unfair " to those checking out at noon. When reminded of the 10a check out memo, she then retorted that "we had to abide the rules." No Pool reservation either as we had not nor were we allowed to check in. We were sent away an told that check in would be available at 2p You can just imagine our surprise when 20 min later we got a call from the sales office. We were offered the option of "early check in" on the condition that we attend a sales presentation (this is a common Wyndham tactic to get owners to purchase additional shares or points ). We declined. Upon check in, which was done curbside, a representative apologized for the inconvenience and offered us a $200 gift card ("we've never done this before") provided we attend a sales presentation the following day. Again, we declined. However he was able. To get us pool time that evening (10-11p). How did the Pool turn out? Crowded with guests playing music from their personal devices (and I don't mean iPhones ) loud enough to be disturbing. What would I have done differently: 1. Empower Luna (the guard ) to open the gate and have us speak with guest service staff. 2. Ashley, don't make up stories about check out times to a member and then brush your own comment aside. Also, just make the reservation at the Pool. 3. Property, please don't be disingenuous by linking any type of consideration to listening to a sales pitch. 4. Finally, the property has a quiet time of 10p-8a, how about enforcing it. Out of the 25+ properties that we have visited in over 20 years , this ranks down there. WorldMark Indio - Quiet time starts at 10p, clearly not in force by the Pool Saturday night - Resorts Near Me - Indio, California

A couple of buddies and I were in Indio, right outside of Palm Springs and we had this time share. It would be 5 stars, except they charged for Wi-fi. What!?! They even still do this at resorts? The staff is super nice, except when I checked in, the guy at the desk said the time share presentation was "Mandatory" What!?! Yeah, let me get right on that. That really made me not happy. The room was nice and we overlooked a nice little pond with ducks, which was kind of serene with the morning coffee. The ducks looked happy, if ducks can look happy. They have a fun little rec area with pool tables and video games, but they charge $3 to rent a DVD. Again...What?!?!? All other time shares I have been to lately have free DVD rentals. Nickel and Diming really puts a bad taste in your mouth. The best part of the resort is the lazy river. You sit in there and just RELAX. So nice. There is a huge pool too and lots of hot tubs all around the place. I think we hit the river, pool, and hot tub every day. Very cool. Overall, a really great place, especially for families, but the bad parts really stunk. So 4 out of 5. read more
