Zero Stars!! Avoid World Tech Auto Services at all costs. I was lured in by a tow truck driver who convinced me to take my vehicle here -- worst decision ever. From start to finish, it's been a complete waste of time and money. Not only did they keep my car for nearly two months, but the original quote completely changed, jumping by thousands of dollars with no clear explanation. Every time I tried to get answers, it was just a back-and-forth blame game between the manager and the staff. No one took responsibility, and there were constant lies about repairs and extra charges. The final straw was a $500 charge to "fix" a headlight with moisture inside. They claimed to remove it, seal it, and reinstall it -- yet the moisture is still there. Clearly, nothing was actually fixed. I'm done going in circles with them. I'll be taking my vehicle somewhere else for real repairs. Absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

DO NOT GO HERE - Worst Experience of My Life! If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This body collision shop is an absolute disaster--rude, unprofessional, and borderline criminal in how they operate. Let me break down the nightmare: First, the customer service is atrocious. The interactions I had with Kyle, Su and Francis was indescribable. Every question I asked was met with sarcasm or completely ignored. Kyle made a smart remark when I said I was going to be taking my car to another body shop and said "well if your taking your car to a real body shop they'll know what ____ is". When I tried to understand why I was being overcharged, I was talked down to like a child. Disgusting behavior. When asked for a legally binding document that gives them permission to hold on to my vehicle for services I didn't ask for he repeatedly refused. When asked for a document that will release my vehicle to the new body shop the receptionist, said "I guess I'll retrieve it from google for you". In addition after receiving a notification from myhyuandi app that my vehicle's door was unlocked at said time I called the body shop to ensure they weren't working on my car after repeatedly telling them I no longer wanted to move forward with them. When I called the body shop and told the receptionist I have notifications sent to my phone, she said good for you... how rude! Now for the real horror: they sent me someone else's private information, including their VIN number, phone number and even their home address.That's a MASSIVE breach of privacy and shows how careless and sloppy this place is. I wouldn't trust them with a bicycle, let alone a car. When I told Kyle I didn't own a 2010 Ford Mustang he tried to go back and forth with me about how it was my car... And then came the bill. They slapped on a $400 administration fee and when I asked for an explanation, they literally said it was for their receptionist "picking up the phone". I thought it was a joke. It wasn't. FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS just for answering a call?! For maybe the four times that I called and spoke for less than 5 minutes each time? What kind of scam are they running? This place is a disgrace to the auto repair industry. They overcharge, violate customer privacy, and treat you like garbage. Save yourself the money, time, and stress-- go anywhere else but here, I wish I had. I got into an accident where I was hit by an uninsured driver and they made matters completely worse! Had a fender bender resulting in damage to the passenger side rear quarter panel, exhaust system, and rear hatch (Acura RDX). Mike and team worked with my insurance and successfully handled some part price discrepancies. The only down side is that some trim was missing by the passenger seat. If that gets handled in a reasonable amount of time I'd have no problem giving this review a 5. I would certainly use them again. The workers did a great job with fixing the repairs to my car! The only thing I would change is the responsiveness whenever I called about my vehicle. They always said that they were going to call me back, but they never did. I always had to be the one calling them back. They also kept pushing back the date on when my vehicle would be ready. They have serviced at least 9 cars that I can recall cars over these 20 years (4 of mine, 2 of my Moms, 1 kids, 2 of ex-husbands), including an $11k front end collision repair. I'm a Commercial Banker and I know how hard it is to thrive owning a repair shop, especially as a locally owned shop on a Hwy with so many branded options ... so they are clearly doing it right:). I am also not an easy customer by far, I do my research, I know about cars, I am cost sensitive and I ask ALL the questions. They operate with an illegal and unethical force. they lie and cheat and will mess up your relationship with the insurance company. if you go into the organization always use a recording device and make sure you state names and details. luckily I have a video of the staff identifying John as the one with false claims and the staff verbally stating the issues I have dealt with should not have happened. Even with all the admissions of unwillingness to communicate they are still trying to screw USAA out of funds that the facility had no legal authority to charge for. If you use them beware. My vehicle was towed here following an accident I had a few weeks ago. Relatively new to Houston, I was a bit nervous to have any work done on my car - but World Tech was a delightful surprise. They worked together with my insurance company so that all of the necessary paperwork was completed in a timely fashion and MELISSA was fabulous to work with! She took the initiative to stay in contact with me, point me in the right direction and showed me how this whole process worked (not too many accidents so I needed help). Emails, voicemails and texts - we stayed in contact with each other. Melissa said that if I find something that doesn't feel right down the line, just bring the car back and they will do everything they can to correct it - lifetime guarantee! ABRAHAM and the other technicians did a great job fixing my vehicle, and even buffed out some old scratches that were not part of the deal! Avais with Towing with this company charged me $130.00 to go literally 2-3 blocks. Then surprisingly he has no receipt pad. Stated they usually charge $60.00-$65.00 but due to be called by police to tow they have to charge a flat rate. Never heard of it in my life!! Then the car needed a little work he was offering their services there. I'm glad he over charged me which lead me to read the reviews. He stated he hadn't been making much due to these times. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! DO NOT BELIEVE ALL POSITIVE REVIEWS!!! These people are scam artist! I do not even know where to begin I am so overwhelmed. They will bribe you to change your review, or bribe for a positive review, and have friends and family makeup reviews, so i would be very skeptical of the positive reviews. I also don't find it a coincidence that almost every time I had a serious issue with them a positive review pops up somewhere online. My car was brought here in October after an accident. After constantly being conned by Andy and Melissa for MONTHS it is now July and I am still dealing with proper repairs needing to be done and missing items that (were lost by World Tech not from the accident). I have things wrong with my car that were never initially a problem, including painting my car a cheaper version of the original paint when told the same would be used which was the cause of one of the many "delays". My car has been brought back at least 5 times for them to fix there on "work". Me going back over and over was never for the same problem, from the key not starting the car, the car stopping, the car making obnoxious grinding noises (Andy would keep telling me "oh its from the new parts, the sound will go away the more you drive" He told me this on multiple occasions (he always talked to me like i was completely dumb and had no common sense or common knowledge about cars and would just tell me anything (I never believed him once and i've turned out to be right every time), needless to say it had NOTHING to do with them being new parts. I could go on and on. I have most recently had my insurance and 2 other body shops/collision centers look at my vehicle and they were shocked that I was even driving this vehicle around let alone that any reputable mechanic or shop would have released the vehicle to me. I wish I could upload the video of the insurance adjustor and mechanics talking and going over everything that was completed incorrectly on purpose, they hadn't even seen anything like some of the stuff they(World Tech) tried to hide. Completely disappointed that people are willing to con others like this and disrupt their livelihood. I came out of pocket for rentals (oh, i didn't even get into how they TRIED to scam Enterprise and myself, I only say TRIED because I had to go through hoops to get money returned to me because they kept ignoring and lying to Enterprise), the amount of time, the going back and forth chasing after these people because they would never call or update when they claimed they would, the constant time fact checking the things that were told to me. Exhausting! I almost feel bad for Andy because it is honestly quite sad to see someone live their life this way. Literally everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie but i actually think he believes the things that he says. There seems to be know one else to talk to besides Andy and Melissa because the owner (as told to me by Andy) only calls the shop about once a week, comes up to the shop maybe 3x per year, and doesnt remember the last time he came to the shop. Keep in mind Andy claims to be "The manager of the whole shop" his words. Now I will leave that for you to believe.....or not. I recently got in an accident and and the tow company recommended this body shop. I looked up their reviews on Google and everything looked good. They opened the shop up even though they were closed so I can fill out paper work and drop my car off. Will was beyond helpful. He helped me understand what I had to do since it was a hit and run. He even called the next day to see if I was doing okay and if I needed help with a rental car. They are beyond helpful and really work with you. I would recommend this place to everyone especially since you have a warranty on anything they fix since in many cases you see that someone always messes up after an accident. They offer to fix it and you're always welcome to come back. read more

After I brought my car here to fix, the breaks start to make squeaking noise. This place steals your money they tow my car after having a T-bone accident. The tow truck driver insisted for me to take my car to the body shop he harassed me. I had no choice because I trusted his word and he told me all the lies for me to take the truck to this body shop. It was a lot of problems I didn't even get a rental and I had to pay half of the body repairs they also charge me the storage fee which the tow truck driver said the insurance will take care of this was really the worst body shop experience. I had to leave my truck there again because the paint finish was cracked they did a horrible job but I had no no choice but to leave it again and I had to borrow my parents car at the moment and they needed their car and I just had the most horrible experience even though they sweettalk me I want to press charges or sue them but at this point I believe it's already too late whoever read this please have a good lawyer if they already have your truck inside this body shop these are thieves read more

I brought it back and they said because the paint was old and refused to fix that?? That's not even the worst part. I hope someone is reading this before taking their car into World Tech Auto. At this place, I would highly recommend that you don't pay them upfront for their service BEFORE they finished their job properly and everything is working as promised. I took my car into the dealership to see why my AC wasn't working and blowing out hot air. The dealership diagnosed my car with a puncture to the AC condenser and gave me a quote that was expensive. I then took my car to World Tech Auto and spoke to the "best mechanic in the world," by the name of Andy. By the way, he called himself that when he answered the phone. He quoted me a price that was much lesser than the dealership so I took my car to him. The front desk woman by the name of Melissa told me when I got there that they did not have the part and they would have to order and it should be in by the next day. The next day, early in the morning, I stopped by and she told me the part was not there. During my lunch time, I called Melissa to see if the part came so I could drive there to drop my car off for them to work on. Again, she told me that the part was not in and she would call the carrier to see if it was on the way. Shortly, she called me back and said the part should be in around 2:00pm. So I took my car in around 1:30pm to drop it off for them to work on. The next day, I came by to pick up my car because nobody called me the evening of that day that my car would not be ready in the morning of the next day. Andy, the best mechanic in the world told me that he can get the car done in an hour if he had the part! Nobody called me that evening to tell me that the part didn't come in until 5:00pm that evening, so the owner of the shop told me. So it ended up, my car was not even done. At this point, I have no car to get to work and they did not have a car to loan. I asked for a refund because I paid them UPFRONT IN FULL!. The owner of the shop by the name of Tung, convinced me to let them work on my car so stupid me, I left my car there for them to work on. In the late afternoon, my mother took the car home for me and the AC didn't work. It was like they never did anything to my car except maybe to pump the liquid into the hose temporary. The following day, my mother called them again and the girl in the front desk, Melissa, BOLDLY told my mother that it was the wrong number! The owner of the shop, told my mother that if the AC didn't work then bring the car back. So my mother called a few times and each time, that Melissa lady kept telling my mother that it was the wrong number! I HAVE REALLY REGRET TAKING MY CAR TO THIS PLACE. MY ADVICE IS NEVER TO PAY THEM UPFRONT UNTIL THEY FINISH THE JOB THAT THEY PROMISED SUCCESSFULLY. They asked me to bring my car back so they could see what was wrong! HELL NO WILL I LET THEM TOUCH MY CAR again! So the lesson here is NOT TO PAY THEM UPFRONT! I learned my lesson that the next time, I would rather pay more to have the job done properly and not have this many headache dealing with them. I have to use Uber to go back and forth and the time missed from work. IF THERE IS ZERO STAR, I WOULD RATE THEM ZERO AND NOT WORTH GIVING THEM 1 STAR! BEWARE! Don't ever have your car towed to this facility, especially on the weekends. The owner Minh Tran is a complete rip off.. EXPECT TO PAY $100's or more to get your car out of impound. Recently had a vehicle impound to this shop on a weekend, this was a joke. The only number they have listed is an office number, that apparently rolls over to the owners voicemail..yea right. I called over 20+ times never able to leave a voicemail (which by the way never came on) to get the "alternate number". When you go to storage lot, the sign says 24hrs, yea right. Good luck because your gonna pay extra fees, because technically they are only open M-F 9 to 5 banker's hours. read more
