This place is in our neighborhood and very close to home. It's important to have a reliable auto shop nearby. No frills and no fuss at a place like this. Well I got a flat tire this morning. No fun at all! I felt it immediately while driving and luckily was close to home. I checked my tire and it was deflating fast. Something bigger than a nail was in there...check my photos to see the broken key that deflated my tire in record time! I showed up at the shop knowing there was a chance they wouldn't take it considering the amount of cars I see them working on at any given moment. The gentleman said they don't normally do patchwork but would hate to see me stranded. He said it'd be completed by noon. At 10:41am they called to inform me my car was ready. Talk about efficiency and hospitality! They charged me $25 for the whole operation. It's an easy fix for them and I think the most appropriate pricing for something of this nature. First sign of shoddy work was the fact that when I drove home, the car started losing power to the radio and dash lights. Thankfully, I lived very close to the shop at the time and was able to get it home, at which point I discovered that the alternator wasn't re-connected after the work done. Easy fix for even someone like me, but c'mon, how do you overlook this? Fast forward to a little more than a year and I come to find out that the car is leaking coolant again, and was told by another mechanic that the water pump is leaking again. So either they used a cheap part or didn't put it in properly. I don't have the time to take this car back to this shop to have it done, so I'm just going to have the pump replaced by someone that knows what they are doing.

Desperately needing my brakes done with limited time, I stopped in to get back to the mountains safely. (I normally do them myself & never had any of the situations they caused to my F150). Next thing I know my ABS & Emergency brake lights come on randomly while driving the pass daily. Then my truck starts to wobble. Being in nursing school, I finally made it back up after five months to have them answer why my emergency brake lights were coming on. They said it was my wheel hub. I already paid 1200 and now they want 1000 more to fix this with little resolution to my questionable brakes for the last 5 months - death wobble included. I went to a friend and it was a $100 tie rod and my 4x4 had also been severed. Cut and non-working on top of that. I had to drive my ruck back to the mountains with hazards on and under 45 mph terrified. I got it fixed for $250 - not a $1000 like they quoted. And now I have to fix the 4x4 they severed and my ABS and emergency parking lights that they screwed. Horrible. Untrustworthy. Scam.

Sadly, I was validated on my concerns of paying for something sight unseen. I will say here that the actual repair work looks very nice, but there were a few small problems that were very disconcerting. One, my dashboard tire pressure light was on, which due to weather is not that rare, but when I went to air up my tires, it was revealed that the four different tire pressures were: 61, 19, 47, and 38. Seriously? How in earth could that have organically happened? What did they do to my tires? Secondly, my dashboard headlight warning light was on. So I looked around my car and my driver side back light was out. I opened my trunk and saw the inside panel to the back light housing off. What on earth happened there? The damage to my car was on the driver side. What were they doing there? Three, the trunk is filthy, and it needs to be vacuumed. Fourthly, the side view mirror that creates a three week plus extension is a crappy, fun house type of mirror, with a very odd reflection. It is no where near the quality of the factory version, and I was told that it was coming from Hyundai shop in Texas. To be clear, the mirror reflects, and I can see traffic behind/beside me, but it's a very cheap knock off, and that's super frustrating. In the end, the bodywork was great, but the 3 week + extension, the cheap mirror, my weirdly inflated tires, and my oddly broken back light, is all very disturbing. Also, I reached out to Rusty from the Aurora Kaizen with all of these details, and I have not heard anything. That's so unprofessional and shameful. My next step is to contact my insurance company and advise them to take Kaizen off of their preferred auto body shop list. This company used to be Mankhe, which I had the unfortunate need to use a couple of times over the last decade, and never had any issue like this. Kaizen is horrible, and I will never use them again. But, I DID have a fantastic experience dealing with this crew. I got hit by an Amazon driver. Not the actual blue truck. A contracted vehicle. So, the process was LONG. Very LONG. But, after a referral from a Lexus repair shop up north that we visited for my wife's car, it was the best decision I have made in some time. When searching for a repair shop, it is tough to know what to look for. I can't speak for you, but I didn't have the time nor patience to vet out every repair shop in Denver. And, I wasn't in any mood to do so with a busted up ride. So, I decided to go on the referral, my first impression when I walked in, and a couple referrals online. If reading this, and your car needs some work, stop looking around. I will save you the time. Although I am not any body shop expert, this is the best place I can imagine going to. I will be recommending this shop to anyone of my friends or network who has an incident, and will be taking my car there for any future work. Because I was dealing with Amazon and their third party insurance, I was concerned about the admin side of things, and getting stuck with charges at the end. Jordan was behind the counter and assured me that she would handle all contact with Amazon and insurance, and all rental admin stuff. They gave me a ride to the nearby Enterprise initially, handled ALL admin stuff for the months in between, took the rental car back after giving me my ride, and even fixed a windshield crack on their dime that happened on their watch. Jordan was fantastic in keeping me updated on the insurance company's very slow approval of supplements to the repairs. Steve runs the place, he seems like a great dude, and you can just tell that he runs his business in an ethical and fair way, and that his crew is trained to make each customer happy after their unhappy car incident. I don't recommend getting hit by an Amazon driver. And I don't wish your car to need auto body work at all. But, I DO recommend, if anything unfortunate happens to your prized vehicle, in taking any repair work to this place without hesitation.

After my car was hit on the side in an accident, it looked brand new when I got it back. They also cleaned both the interior and exterior before returning it, which was a nice touch and appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I was never given a clear timeline for the repairs and received very little communication during the nearly two months it took to get my car back. Most updates only came after I repeatedly called and tried to reach someone, and even then the information provided was often vague. My biggest concern, however, was that when I got my car back, I quickly noticed that the emergency cash I keep in the sunglasses compartment was missing. I fully acknowledge that I should have removed valuables from the vehicle, but after the accident I was shaken up and simply wasn't thinking about it. What disappointed me most was not just the missing cash, but the lack of response afterward. I called multiple times, left messages, and even spoke with a technician who said his boss would contact me. I never received a call back. A reputable business should at least address a concern of this nature, even if there is disagreement about what happened. While I'm satisfied with the repair work itself, the lack of communication throughout the process and the complete failure to respond to my concerns afterward left me with a very negative overall experience. I'm not sure whether my experience was influenced by the fact that the repair was handled through insurance rather than being paid out of pocket, but that shouldn't affect the level of customer service a customer receives.

Throughout the 8 month process (2 month wait to get my car in, about 6 to fix due to extreme part delays out of their control), Salina was kind, communicative and patient. She called to give me updates regularly and readily gave updates when I called asking for them. The issues actually became apparent when my car was done. Salina called and said we just had to wait on final insurance payments before I could pick it up. After a few days I followed up with my insurance, who had no idea that anything was outstanding and had thought my car would be returned to me. The details would require me to write a novel here but essentially I spent HOURS (12+) over a week's time while my car sat repaired in their lot trying to mediate between GT and my insurance. At multiple points I went into the shop because I was told by my insurance that based on the documentation in the system, they had paid everything and my car should be given back to me. Again Salina was professional and level headed, and offered me their loaner so I wouldn't have to pay for extending my rental... yet I didn't get my car back. In one instance when I went into the shop, Kelly, the owner, and I, got into a more-heated debate... at which point I, a grown woman, decided to involve my dad. As I predicted and have experienced with other mechanics, Kelly lowered the amount of money he was asking for by hundreds of dollars pretty immediately after speaking to an older man instead of a woman in her later 20s. In the end it turns out that GT was issuing new invoices AFTER my car was done, with duplicate line items that my insurance could not approve. I'm convinced I only got my car back when I did because GT was tired of hearing from me every other hour. I was never given an apology when this issue was clearly a product of disorganization on their part and I got the feeling that they were hoping that I would be the one to get exasperated and just pay the difference to get my car back. As someone who chose this auto body shop based on my trusted regular mechanic's recommendation, in an effort to support a small business instead of going to the dealership, I am extremely disappointed and angry after this debacle. Cherry on top: my car was returned looking new and mostly clean but with a large section of tape gunk still on the windshield directly in the drivers' view that I now get to go scrape off.

A very nice gentleman saw as I was struggling and came out not only to reset the wash ( timed out as I was having such issues getting in and out ). He took the time to assist guide and all this while having a ton of patience with me. I really appreciate going the extra mile for even something so small as my frustration that day was unbearable
