Debra storrs ruined it ! She is very rude and impatient not detailed or organized would go else where

I don't think I've ever given any company a 1 star review, but this one deserves it. I have never been met with such rudeness and shortness in my entire life! I have been in customer service for many, many years, and as a professional would never speak to any potential client the way I was spoken to. Last Month I decided to do a Europe trip, and no longer having a spouse or girlfriend I was stuck doing this myself. Then I remembered using Debra Storrs from World Class Vacations in Del Mar California. 92014. I thought that I found the perfect trip and Delta airlines on my own, but contacted Debra for covid information. I let her know that I had found the airlines, and stopover I needed. Debra politely asked me the fair I was paying. She asked for ten minutes and redid my ticket cutting first class airfare from $4704 down to $3999 each ticket. Wow, and she even got credit for the booking. I learned sometimes it is best to use a professional. Her help really came in as 18 hours before my return flight, I could not find my passport to come home. Not sure if they're still at this location booked in 2005 but got a referral from a friend when we were planning our trip to Kaua'i. I've never used a travel agency before but my experience with them was fine and got the same rate as my friend even though I booked after her and we wanted to make sure both our arrival and departual flights were the same. read more

I have to say debbie made my destiination wedding amazing. The place we stayed on maui was perfect we got married there on the beach. She told us about all of the sights to see and was a pleasure to work with. I will use her for all my travel for sure. read more

Apparently, things have not changed in 4 years. World Class Vacations is not-- World Class, that is. We found Debbie would not help with our trip, even though she acted like she was the only one that could get tickets. We got them $1200 cheaper and 4 hours less flying time. She neither listened to our instructions, nor cared. She booked totally wrong tickets, including wrong names and birth dates. Debbie is rude, ostentatious and even snobbish. However her grammar is atrocious, so I'm not sure where the snobbish comes from. Perhaps if our address were Rancho Santa Fe or La Jolla instead of Del Mar she would have cared and treated us better. I could go on and tell the lengthy tale, but it resembles the other unsatisfactory reviews. I, too, wish there were a zero rating. Debbie is a B----! I don't know if that is allowed to write - but you can't even call and ask as simple questions. This women/agency booked flights for my nephews who had never flown before. It was an international flight and online check-in was not available - flights, however, could be registered. She had a derogatory tone and treated me as I was an imbecile for simply wanting to understand the process. Kept saying it was too late to register since the flights were today, and was basically rude. When I told her she didn't have to be so rude to me, she said I was being rude. Unbelievable, I guess customer service positions no longer require people to be decent human beings. I ended the call with calling her a name, which might not have been appropriate, but I just couldn't believe that she was being so rude. read more

I first worked wit this business last year from a friend who said to try this agency. We called to book a trip to Europe. It was not a great experience but not horrible. Not knowing much about where we were going we were hoping for suggestions. My friend booked fix for another trip and now I called to check in for what would have been our 3rd trip in under 12 months I called on a Saturday and received a call back on Sunday with our conversation ending that she would check it out and get back to me. I called on Tuesday to follow up and she said she had been out and would get right on it and call me back. Friday comes and I call and told her if she was not interested to let me know as she now put me in a bad position, she said prices were not good and she was going to call another wholesaler and call me right back, that was at 12:45 and I did not get a call until 5:13 pm, I was not available and called back. She then proceeded to ramble on flying all different areas on our trip as I had mentioned if there were cheap inter continental flights once our main flight was done that would be great. I asked if she could email me and she wasn't in And asked if she could call back in 1/2 hour. She did call back and was talking about a tour which I had told her we checked into and they were not appealing. I asked her to email what she was telling me about as it was too much information. She had stated it wouldn't let her email and to google a site and look at tour options and scroll to the bottom. I was floored when I wasted 5 days waiting on her and she comes back with NOTHING but google it and not any options that I had asked for. She mentioned on the phone that pricing was 2000 range. I called a different agent at 630 on a Friday night and she got our tickets for 1049 taxes and all to Asia. Perhaps 2 trips to Europe for 6 in 7 months with an Asia trip was not big enough for her to give at least minimal customer service. This was far below service standards and we are very disappointed and will not recommend this company in the least. read more

Debra Storrs is the worst travel agent I have ever worked with! I highly recommend not using her or this agency! She has 0 communication skills. I had to constantly follow up with her during the booking process. For example, getting answers to questions I asked, I had to ask for a payment receipt, and even our itinerary which we still did not have 2 weeks before leaving. When I finally received our itinerary docs the departure flight heading out of town was different then what was discussed. I figured it was an airline change that Drebra didn't tell us about. Because I did not trust Debra's ability to "have everything right" my gut told me to call the airlines direct to confirm flight times. I did this 2 days before our trip. Sure enough, she sent us the wrong departure time, we were actually leaving 2 hours later! She also did not notify us of a flight change leaving our destination. When I called her to ask about that her response was " oh I was going to call you today". And when I confronted her about the wrong itinerary her response was "you call the airlines and confirm flight times". What the heck is she getting a commission for when I ultimately did all the work. I never write reviews but this was so bad I had to and hopefully this will save others from a travel nightmare and the headache of working with her. Worst experience! read more

I had the worst experience booking three airline tickets to Hawaii through World Class Vacations. What made the experience thoroughly horrible was the treatment I received from the owner of the business. The name of one of our passengers was mis-spelled on the ticket due to an error by World Class Vacations. Our concern was that the mis-spelled name might result in denial of boarding. No matter how much my wife and I pleaded to correct the name on the ticket, Debbie would not help out. During one request, she lost her temper and hung up the phone on my wife. I do not understand how she could be so rude. The worst part was my conversation with Debbie fared no better. She never seemed to let me get a word in edgewise. She was always interrupting me and not allowing me to complete the description of my issue. Debbie was stuck on the idea that because the passenger was a minor it would not matter. Although the passenger was not denied boarding, the mis-spelling on the ticket would not allow the frequent flyer miles to be credited to the account. So my wife is still working with the airline to get the miles credited to the account. On this trip we were also traveling with eight other people who we referred to World Class Vacations. World Class Vacations entered the ticket with errors on the address. While this did not cause an issue upon boarding, it points to the multiple mistakes this company makes illustrating their incompetency. To repeat, the worst part of all was the rude and demeaning treatment we received from Debbie on the phone. I brought her business of 11 airfares to Hawaii and two rental cars. This is no small order, and yet we were treated poorly and rudely. There are plenty of other travel agents to choose from. I will never use this company again, and advise any and all potential customers to avoid doing business with World Class Vacations. read more
