Its also a much nicer place to shop on their mega days as it doesn't get as busy as Meadowhall.

Urban Outfitters at Meadowhall is one of three stores within the Yorkshire region, while it might…read morenot be as large and cool as the Leeds Trinity store which is the nearest other store, they still do have a decent selection of fashion, clothing and unique items including mini cactus and a photo booth across the two floors, both of which are accessed through a lift and both levels of Meadowhall. The two main faults with this store had to be the ultra-loud music, it was hard to have a conversation or even think, I usually wear airpods which are noise-cancelling to a certain extent and I could still hear the music full blast and it was rather unpleasant. I couldn't even find a staff member on the shop floor, which made it all the more dissapointing, but even if I could find a staff member I'd have been unable to communicate with them due to the volume of the music. Again, not the largest Urban Outfitters store but they have tried to personalise and make this store a typical UO which can be hard to a certain extent with it being a mall location, but the lack of staff and the volume of the music really did make me want to get the hell out of the store as soon as I entered and I just decided I'd leave my purchase until I can get to my local branch in Manchester. 2*

Amazing service right from the front line staff all the way to the Manager. I was given attention with patience care and understanding to my situation. It did take a while as I did not have the receipt, apparently the receipt was to be sent to my friend email of which it never was received. Therefore, the item to be returned had to be checked with the store in Nottingham, to verify the purchase and the price. Patience over the phone the customer service personnel did the very best to provide all the pertinent information to enable the other store to locate and confirm the purchase. Finally there was success. It was all sorted out and a store credit was issued. I am very thankful to Owen Davies for all his patience with me who old and a senior. He was very diligent, efficient, attention to detail and he knew exactly what he had to do to make my day the best ever. I wish him all the best and success in all his future endeavours. I thank the Supervisor on duty was being helpful to enable Owen to fully provide customer service. Excellent. I managed to purchase 3 items and utilized the store credit since I was leaving to return back to Canada.

The layout of the store is pretty simple and it is easy to find what you want most of the time. This home bargains stocks stuff that could probably be found in other countries and so if you see something you like buy it because it may not be there next time you go. Home bargains does get busy due to it being a popular shop. The checkout staff can be quite slow especially when an assistant is needed at the checkout, they seem to take an age!

Items aren't always grouped in the same place, so therefore making it difficult to find specific items. There are many occasions when there are long queues and the checkout operators are chatting to friends or collegues, with no regard to the people waiting. It's a great shop if you want to wander around and don't have anything particular in mind, other than picking up items cheaper than other shops. Also, a lot of items are only available once, so its disappointing to go back and find its no longer there.
