Timeliness was an issue for me when interacting with Workplace Justice Advocates. The other one-star reviews seemed spot-on to me; it's been over a full week, and I have heard NO word from the attorney. First of all, look at the five-star reviews on this page. No doubt there are truly some happy clients here, but I noticed a strange pattern in that they appear to be written by friends, family members, coworkers/classmates who are acting as a ratings boost for the office. There's nothing I can prove, but take a look and judge for yourself. Second of all, the woman answering the phones is absolutely wonderful. I don't know if she's the paralegal, intern, secretary, front desk worker, scheduler, administrative assistant...whatever she is, I found her to be attentive, responsive, and an overall lovely person to interact with. So I first reach out to the office online, and the paralegal reaches out to me the same day, and does a quick phone intake. Great! She says to expect the attorney to reach out within three days. That's not ideal, given my issue is extremely stressful and time sensitive, but I get it. Welcome to the real world, MK! Three days pass, and the weekend comes. OK, so they're probably not going to get back to me over the weekend. That's too bad, as my time sensitive and stressful issue is only getting worse. But come Monday, I can begin the process, right? Monday comes and goes...no word. Tuesday comes, and I decide to call again. The same lovely paralegal answers, and says that she will inform the attorney that I reached out again, and I should hang tight as she will get to me in no time. OK--I guess sometimes you have to wait for quality representation. Wednesday comes, and I reach out again. The same poor paralegal informed me that "the attorney is busy in deposition" and will have a large delay in getting back to me. I mean, she could have informed me of that originally. And now, over a full WEEK has passed, with NOTHING. I've reached out to other attorneys meanwhile, some of whom have spoken to me on the same day. I'll probably get that return call from Workplace Justice Advocates on this same time next year. read more

Like a frog on slow boil, you won't know you've got a bad one until it's too late. I contacted Tamara Freeze initially through her website, next in follow up contacts from her intake personnel and then direct conversations with Tamara. The intake and phone interviews between client and attorney are vital and Tamara's team was the best I have encountered. The intake sets up a more effective direct call with the attorney and, with Tamara, I recognized immediately she is A) a true advocate and, B) she is strategic, she is not interested in a pyrrhic victory; she wants your win to be substantive. I would like to express my experience with this company so that other people are aware of their customer service. I had high hopes for their name being an "advocate" and also based on the online positive reviews. I was very much disappointed. First I would like to thank the person who took all my information for 25 minutes her name is Susan. She showed compassion and empathy on the phone and guaranteed me after the end of the conversation that someone will get back to me with status and update if I even had a case to file. I waited for about a week with no phone call. Waited for the second week... Left a voicemail. Tried again on the third week.. called and left another voicemail. In short, I have gotten no response or return call or even a courtesy call for a month now even just to state they were not able to help. It takes a lot of courage for someone to reach out for help and to divulge sensitive information on top of that I'm sure most people are already stressed out from the situation that occurred with them.
