Their website also said they are still following strict Covid protocols. I called half a dozen times over two days before I was finally able to talk to someone and schedule an appointment. I was told that walk-ins were accepted but it could be an hour wait or longer. The only options they gave me for an appointment were 6:45am and 4:30pm which was basically right after they opened and right before they closed. I show up for the appointment and they didn't have any required Covid protocols. I didn't have to pay a co pay but they also didn't tell me how much the x-rays were going to cost because "it depends on your insurance". They wouldn't even give me an estimated figure. When I checked their website before scheduling my appointment they didn't have any prices listed which is why I asked about the costs (but then they were displayed on the website several weeks later). The wait was about 15 minutes, the x-rays took about 15 minutes, and then I was out. The technician said the results would be sent to my physician in 1 to 2 days. I just needed the images on a CD but they couldn't provide it because apparently they needed to get a new CD burner. I tried calling again the following week but nobody would answer the phone. I left several messages but didn't receive a reply to any of them. I went down to the office and was told that I could access the report in the online portal but I needed the images from the x-ray which weren't on the portal. The CD burner still wasn't ready and they told me to come back in a few days to a week. I eventually got my CD and asked what the status was with my bill but I was told I would get something in the mail. Nearly a month after my x-rays I got the bill in the mail and the costs were a couple hundred dollars but my insurance covered most of it. I tried to pay online but their online payment portal is being fixed and they have no estimate on when it will be ready. The only other options are to mail in a check or use some third-party app. My recommendation is to go to the office, if you're able, and talk to someone in person to get the information you need. You'll be wasting your time trying to call and expecting someone to get back to you. A lot of their website information is out of date and I could have saved a lot of time if someone would update the important information like scheduling, billing & payments, and Covid procedures.

To start I will say I won't be returning to this office. Very rude when I called before coming in…read morebut I figured maybe she only does the phone, so I go in for a walk in anyways. When walking to check in they don't say hello but I sign in and sit. When they call me up again I was annoyed she read out loud all my personal info , I can understand wanting to check if anything needs updating but this is my first time coming in and so I just gave you the info now and she was holding my drivers license confirming the address was already current. She said my whole name, address, phone number, and my next of kin name and phone # . I did make a face but didn't say anything, just confirmed like ya thx. The call before I arrived , she had made it clear I needed to be there before a certain time. I was there over an hour before that cutoff, so after a 45 minute wait I left. The whole time all I could hear was the receptions commentary. All I can say is very unimpressed by the attitude and small talk that I had no choice but to overhear.

She asked me why I had come to the Emergency room. I explained the problem with my glucose level and the number of insulin pumps that I had gone through in 24 hours. The Doctor said she would be back. When the Doctor returned, she told me that there was nobody in the Emergency room who dealt with diabetes or insulin pumps. I asked what about the rest of the hospital, I was told that they have all gone home for the weekend. She said she was going to arrange for me to be discharged. I was upset, so I placed a call to the hospital administration, and was told that they would look into it. Shortly after the call, a Nurse Practitioner came to see me. She checked out my Insulin pump controller and went to make a phone call to my Diabetes Doctor, who's office was closed for the weekend. She eventually spoke to a Diabetes Doctor she knew. The Nurse Practitioner returned, telling me that my insulin pump was malfunctioning. I was told about the diet I should eat over the weekend, until I could get in contact with my Diabetes Doctor on Monday. I was eventually discharged from the hospital, without any help for the large swings in my glucose levels and no means to administer insulin. I should have been admitted over the weekend to get my glucose levels under control. Basically, the Emergency Room Dr. Ponce de Leon and the Nurse Practitioner left me in a very dangerous situation.

They stopped doing the mobile van here because a permanent local office opened up. I visited the assured imaging local office in 2022 for my routine annual preventative mammogram. My insurance covers this procedure at 100%, HOWEVER, they incorrectly coded this procedure so that I would have to pay. After DOZENS of calls and tons of time with my insurance and the assured imaging people, Briana at assured imaging finally acknowledged the mistaken (after my insurance person contacted her) and told me they would close my account. I thought the matter had been resolved, but I was nervous because she refused to give me a confirmation or reference number or anything in writing. I was told I would receive confirmation in the mail but never did. Then, in JANUARY 2024 (so, 2 years after the service and alleged "closing" of my erroneous bill) they turned the account over to collections. When I contacted assured imaging once again, I was told the exact same thing: they acknowledged the incorrect coding and told me they would send a letter confirming that they closed my account. That never happened, and I finally just paid the collections agency... for a fake charge for a service I never received.

Then I said I gave you my insurance card did you submit it. Yes, they said. Well a few weeks later they billed my insurance company and got paid again! Now they have every excuse not to reimburse me!!!!

I live about 2 hours away which is also not to their fault. They said you missed your appointment which was 945. I was there at 920 then proceeded to say you should have arrived at 845. I showed my paperwork from the VA which showed 945 as the appointment time and to arrive 15 minutes prior. They then said you cannot be seen. The Dr requires you get here a hour before. They never sent a text or called to tell me such policy. They confirmed my phone number and I asked when did your office contact me? They told me I should have been given a courtesy call the week prior. I never received a call or text from the provider. They said an outside company handles that. I went through all calls texts and emails with no such communication ever existing. Not one communicationone from this office. I have never been or felt so disrespected in my life by the 3 ladies I spoke to in this office. They refused to listen to me or give me any explanation other than we can reschedule you next month. After leaving the office I immediately called the Veterans Assistance community care. While on the phone them, they had a supervisor call the Dr office and put on hold. The VA office connected me to the supervisor and he asked what had occurred. I told him what happened. I was still in the parking lot and he asked if I could hand my phone to the staff at thw Dr. office. I walked back into the office and handed the assistant my phone. The office staff and the VA community care representative spoke and and even he could not get a reason behind the policy of hour early arrival or why I was not notified of this. This should never happen to anyone. I give one star because someone was there.
