When I entered, several employees were standing together and talking. I was not greeted or acknowledged, so I approached them to request assistance. An associate helped me at the register and was about to do it for me however, another employee then approached him, I believe his name is Drew and told me that the return could not be processed at that location. I was directed to take it to the other store farther in the mall. Because I was in a hurry, I asked whether there was a specific reason the return could not be completed right then and there. The response I received seemed dismissive and did not clearly explain the reason for redirecting me. As a result, I was concerned that the return may have been redirected for reasons unrelated to company policy or operational requirements. I went to the second location, where two employees assisted me promptly and processed the return courteously. I appreciated their professionalism and informed them about what had occurred at the first location. The employees at the second location also stated that they have encountered similar situations and that returns and exchanges were frequently redirected to their store. I cannot verify those statements, so I am bringing this matter to corporate's attention and requesting that it be reviewed. As I returned to my car, I passed the original location and saw Drew and the other two employees standing together and talking. In light of my experience, this contributed to my concerns about the level of service and professionalism at that location. I respectfully ask corporate management to investigate whether customers are being unnecessarily redirected for returns and exchanges and whether employees are consistently following the company's return policies and customer-service standards. I am not seeking special treatment. I expect to be greeted, treated respectfully & provided with service consistent with the company's policies. The second location demonstrated the level of service I would expect from the company. I hope corporate will review the concerns regarding the location near the mall entrance and address them appropriately!

The employee was on speaker phone with his boss the entire time we were there, discussing next week's schedule and even who had a funeral to attend. For at least five minutes we walked around the store waiting for acknowledgment. Not once did he greet us or tell his boss he had customers. He just kept talking and eventually walked out. On top of that, the store was extremely dirty. There was debris and black marks all over the tile floors, gum on the carpet, and visible grime around the fixtures and seating areas. It felt neglected and unclean. When customers are the only ones in the store, being ignored and walking around in a dirty environment is unacceptable. Basic customer service and regular cleaning would make a huge difference.

I think they started out as marketing heavily towards young adults, mostly in casual streetwear. Now after perusing this store, they seem to serve a much wider market. I saw a huge section of children shoes, a good section of work shoes (industrial type) and still a ton of casual streetwear. Now the 'bad' reviews for this place, seem mostly customer service related. But for me these 'warehouse outlets' clearly try to minimize any service personnel, so I simply have never wanted/needed any person to person contact. Gone are the days where shoes were displayed nicely, and when you found one you wanted to try, you'd ask a sales rep to bring out your size. I even remember back in the day, they'd sit me down, measure my size and slip on the new shoe to try, even tying the laces in a super efficient yet stylish manner. Lol. I haven't seen that in decades. These days the shoes are still on display, mostly at chest level so you can browse/scan with ease. Now if you do find something that interest you, you now have to look below that display and see if you can spot a box of that style, in your size. You now try em on for yourself. Depending on the store, those boxes can be easy and organized or a cluttered mess. Here it was pretty organized and clean. I was able to try on several pair without a hitch. But for being an 'outlet' store, the prices weren't as great as I was expecting. Many of the shoes here were just as much, if not a little more than other stores like DSW. I just thought for some reason that they would try and liquidate their own product, since they don't carry anything else. But there are certain sales that are highlighted, and those seemed like better deals than those without the sales highlight. I found these slip on casual sneakers with that modern mesh material that is super light and airy. And even tho there are laces (just for looks Lol), the laces don't move or tighten. So easy to slip on, like I don't even have to use my hands. Now they are my favorite shoes to do light yard work, run errands, change to after a round of golf. These are kind of a game changer for me. So to that me and Skechers may get another round. I can see myself coming here 1-2 times per year to freshen up my fit.
