I deal with lawyers a lot. I'm a lawyer myself and respect lawyers generally, but the truth is: at…read morethe lower-consumer level a lot of them suck. They give poor service, they are ill prepared to deal with the timelines, they depend on retainers because they know the case will never pay in time and they (understandably) need to be compensated for their time. Forget all that in dealing with Briana. She's as human as they come. She's compassionate and, above all, she knows her stuff. She worked with us, assessed the case, made some phone calls, settled the matter, and made a few friends along tbe way. I would trust Briana to steer anyone straight and I'm grateful to have found her.

Briana is an attorney for the people, in the truest sense of the phrase. What distinguishes her…read morefrom other lawyers is that she doesn't simply practice employment law; she is pioneering a more humane model of it, one that restores care and empowerment to clients navigating imbalanced systems. I searched high and low across California for the right employment attorney. While Briana's decade-plus Super Lawyers track record speaks for itself, I knew from our first conversation that she operates in the top echelon of her profession. Her excellence stems not only from legal mastery, but from an unwavering commitment to putting the person first. In addition to command of the law, effective advocacy requires human insight and perseverance, especially across complex organizations and multiple stakeholders. Given her background in Human Development, it's easy to understand why Briana is so deeply respected not only by her clients, but also by her colleagues and the diverse communities she serves. Over the past year, I had the privilege of working closely with Raleigh, who handled my matter with tireless precision and sound judgment. At every step, I felt heard, supported, and fiercely advocated for. After mediation, my words to Briana and Raleigh were simple and sincere: "If there were more lawyers like you, the world would be a better place." I meant every word. If you are seeking counsel who combines legal expertise with human integrity, Briana's firm sets a new standard. I am proud to give Briana and Raleigh my highest endorsement, and I am confident they will continue to advocate for every client with the same dignity and humanity they have shown me. In imperfect systems, justice does have a voice. Thank you for embodying how our shared humanity can rise above even the most broken systems.

Ms. Guerriero was amazing. She got me an MRI scheduled immediately. The MRI revealed 4 tears in my shoulder. I had an operation scheduled soon after. I have returned to work. Being represented by Mrs. Pratt and her staff was an absolutely upsetting, frustrating, and…read moredisappointing experience. Despite knowing Colleen Pratt and dealing with her personally for over 20 years, her treatment and conduct were not only unprofessional but also very hurtful. I have many years of legal experience, and I'm shocked by the unprofessionalism I received from Mrs. Pratt and her team. Despite referring multiple family and friends to her firm, I was taken aback when Mrs. Pratt implied that I said she didn't care about her clients. This claim is not only false, but also absurd given the number of referrals I've made to her directly. I was left to handle critical aspects of my claim including personally picking up my medical records from hospitals, scheduling my own MRI, obtaining the MRI results, obtaining additional pertinent documentation, and ascertaining my own Orthopedic treatment. Making matters worse my claim was accepted and she did nothing to obtain what I was entitled to. I needed an orthopedic and she sent me to a chiropractor which, frankly made my condition worse. Her office failed to secure necessary evaluations and treatment for my debilitating injuries, and my case sat in limbo. I was often alone on conference calls with her staff, as Mrs. Pratt was never present. When I switched attorneys, I received 4x the offer Colleen presented me with, plus benefits such as my back TTD benefits owed to me, current benefits, penalties, mileage reimbursement and anything else I was entitled to. To make matters worse, Mrs. Pratt implied that I should settle my case quickly due to my sister's passing, completely disregarding the severity of my injuries and the impact on my life. To top it off, Mrs. Pratt is seeking attorney fees for work she didn't do - I'm the one along with my husband's support who did the work & heavy lifting on my case. I have plenty of documentation to support my claims. I strongly advise others to research their attorneys carefully before hiring anyone.
